"滴滴答..."

Blood dripped onto the ground, and the eyes of the dead Ren Yuzhi remained open, unwilling to rest in peace.

He was third on the Green Cloud List, had apprenticed at the Shadow Bearing Sword Arena with boundless prospects, yet he died here.

Ying Ze, seeing the scene before him, was also unable to grasp the situation.

Ren Yuzhi, is dead?

A cold wind blew in, sowhat chilling, and he looked towards Li Fan, seeing a massive Demon Dragon shrouding Li Fan’s figure, as if Li Fan had transford into the Demon Dragon, a demon.

Within him, an astonishing demonic aura also erupted.

"Demon?"

The crowd was montarily lost; he was not a demon, he was a Li Mountain Sword Cultivator.

How could a Li Mountain Sword Cultivator possibly be a demon?

Did he absorb the demon’s power, gaining control over it?

Cannot be killed.

Li Fan and Lu Yuan, as if they couldn’t be killed. They had reached such a point and paid such a tragic price with countless deaths and injuries.

One of the three disciples of Lingxiao Pavilion died, and a disciple of the Shadow Bearing Sword Sect also died.

The others were all severely injured, with two losing an arm.

Such a tragic battle, yet they still couldn’t kill Li Fan and Lu Yuan.

This involuntarily prompted a thought: can they truly kill them today?

What was thought to be a simple matter, why has it evolved into this?

If they could have foreseen this, they wouldn’t have participated...

Now, do they continue the kill?

Can they manage to kill?

The brutality of the battle led them to despair, when they thought it was ending, it turned into another beginning of slaughter.

Lu Yuan also turned to look at Li Fan; she knew Li Fan’s past. Years ago, due to the demon within him, Li Mountain refused to acknowledge his existence, causing him to suffer injustice in his youth.

Li Fan absolutely did not want to use the demon’s power, nor did he want the demon within him to consu him.

She looked at the surrounding crowd, her eyes seed to engrave each person into her mory; these people would pay the price.

"Go."

A deep voice erged from Li Fan’s mouth, and the demon’s arm embraced Lu Yuan. A dragon’s roar, and Li Fan’s body soared towards the sky.

He could kill everyone here, but he couldn’t guarantee he wouldn’t lose control.

The demon within him always made him wary. Many said he would beco a demon, but he didn’t want that, and he would never let it happen.

He is human, not a demon.

Years ago, because of his youthful determination, he overca the demon’s intent and ford an indissoluble bond with his senior sister, who later took him up Li Mountain.

"Can’t let him leave alive."

Seeing Li Fan trying to leave, many Sword Cultivators attacked again. Li Fan’s demonic eyes glanced over the attacking swords, a dragon’s roar, the dragon’s body shielding both from the falling swords.

At the sa ti, he grabbed a sword and hurled it with a fierce throw, the dragon roared, and the terrifying power burst back, piercing through the body of the nearest person, and consecutively pierced through several others.

"Buzz..."

The Golden Winged Roc’s wings appeared, flapped vigorously, and Li Fan’s body transford into a golden stream of light, racing into the sky, vanishing in an instant.

Those Sword Cultivators hovered in mid-air, staring at the receding figure stiffly.

Ying Ze trembled slightly; he wanted to pursue Li Fan but ultimately remained still.

He had witnessed Ren Yuzhi’s death, a stark reminder of the threat of death.

In his current dire state, Li Fan resurrected by the demon’s power, exuding a terrifying aura. If Ying Ze continued to attack, he wasn’t sure whether he would survive or et Ren Yuzhi’s fate.

He dared not gamble.

Ying Ze, he was scared.

Jiang Chaoyang was the sa; they watched Li Fan depart, all Sword Cultivators rely stared at the vanishing silhouette, as many bodies lay silently ravaged on the ground.

The genius disciple from Li Mountain had entered Chi Xiao City, into the Secret Realm.

So, were the elders from Li Mountain also in Chi Xiao City?

Soone glanced at Ren Yuzhi and the Sword Cultivator from Lingxiao Pavilion.

It was probably going to be another bloody storm.

"Go."

Many had a similar thought, turning to leave by Sword Control, intending to find a place to lay low after exiting the Secret Realm.

Zuo Tu and Lu Yuan couldn’t possibly rember all of them, and would only focus on the leaders like Ying Ze and the people from Lingxiao Pavilion, not them.

As long as they faded from Li Fan’s sight, they should be safe from danger.

Ying Ze’s heart, however, was far more complicated.

After coming out of the Secret Realm, he feared there would be no way to explain himself.

He hadn’t formally beco the direct disciple of Li Chengying, yet he already faced setbacks.

However, the situation had escalated to this point and was irreversible.

Now, he could only firmly insist that Li Fan had colluded with demons.

"Zuo Tu?"

He suddenly realized that this na, perhaps, was just an alias.

He hadn’t known Li Fan was a Li Mountain disciple before, so he didn’t think in that direction. Now, understanding Li Fan’s identity as a Li Mountain disciple, a na surfaced in his mind.

Zuo Canglan.

Zuo Tu, Zuo Tu, so that was the aning.

Jiang Chaoyang naturally thought of this as well, and even more ideas surged in his mind.

Although Lingxiao Pavilion hadn’t ntioned the battle at the Peak of Li Mountain, there were still many scattered rumors. The second-in-command of Lingxiao Pavilion, Wang Daoxuan, had not returned after going to Li Mountain.

Chu Zili had died atop Li Mountain.

Jiang Taie was also rumored to have fought with a Li Mountain disciple.

For so reason, a thought crossed his mind: could Chu Zili have been killed by Li Fan?

He didn’t know that Wang Daoxuan was also killed by Li Fan.

anwhile, on the other side.

Li Fan carried Lu Yuan, soaring through the air, moving away from the region of the nine major cities, arriving at a secluded location.

Finding a place with no one around, Li Fan descended and released Lu Yuan. He then sat cross-legged, as a terrifying demonic aura enveloped his body, as if trying to break out.

Li Fan suppressed this urge, his consciousness diving inward. He seed to see a pair of eyes amidst the restless demon energy within him.

"Why not kill them?"

A voice echoed in Li Fan’s mind, the sa voice that had once tempted him, just like in those earlier days.

"Go back."

Li Fan, suppressing it with his will, appeared sowhat distorted, his complexion pale, devoid of any color.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to; he didn’t dare.

He feared he would turn into a demon.

If he were to kill, it would be by his sword, not as a demon.

Lu Yuan sensed Li Fan’s struggle, yet she endured her own pain, continuing to guard beside him. She placed her arm on Li Fan’s shoulder, as if to remind him she was there too.

The Sword Intent on her body erged, surging towards Li Fan, as she softly said, "Refine them."

Li Fan understood Lu Yuan’s intent, refining those Sword Intents to restore his own Sword Intent.

The demonic energy continued to stir restlessly as Li Fan bore the pain, slowly refining and absorbing the Sword Intent.

Lu Yuan also endured her struggle. She felt her consciousness drifting, as if she might collapse at any mont, but she couldn’t afford to fall.

The vast land echoed a sense of desolation.

In the distance, low growls rose, becoming increasingly nurous, turning Lu Yuan’s face pale.

She saw that, from various directions, demons were gradually approaching, seemingly attracted by the demonic aura on Li Fan.

"You can still hold on."

Lu Yuan’s hand, holding the sword, trembled slightly. She took a step forward, standing before Li Fan, even when she herself was on the brink of collapse.

Biting her lip to keep herself awake, she watched as the overwhelming wave of demons approached, a look of despair in her eyes.

Glancing back at the figure on the ground, a decisive expression crossed Lu Yuan’s eyes.

If fate deed it so, then let her die here.

Hope, that he can live!

At this mont, she exuded a tragic beauty, ready to ignite her Divine Soul entirely.

Yet, just then, she saw those demons that had neared suddenly prostrate themselves, not attacking.

A sea of demons, one after another, lowered their bodies, letting out low growls, as if in worship.

Upon those demons, nurous strands of Sword Intent flew away from them, traveling toward Li Fan’s body. They willingly offered the Sword Intent within them.

Countless strands of Sword Intent landed on Li Fan’s body, which he absorbed and refined. Seeing this scene, a poignant smile appeared in Lu Yuan’s eyes.

It seems, heaven has not cut off all paths.

Finally unable to hold on, her body softly collapsed to the ground beside Li Fan, completely losing consciousness. Even in her faint, her face held a smile, one of survival against the odds.

Li Fan could live.

Wonderful.

In the deserted wilderness, more demons ca, then knelt, offering the Sword Intent within themselves.

The white-clad figure amidst the vast sea of demons absorbed those Sword Intents.

Beside him lay a stunning beauty, peacefully, like a painting.
