Qu Qingfeng looked at the master and disciple duo, a hint of a smile appearing in his eyes.

This pair was indeed interesting; they did not cling to worldly formalities and seed quite casual. Though they were master and disciple, they got along as if they were old friends.

However, it was evident that their relationship was exceptionally good.

The master had beco famous years ago, and now the disciple was equally outstanding.

It made him feel sowhat envious.

At Bai Lu Academy for many years, he had never seen such an extraordinary student. He wondered if, soday, he might also find a disciple like this, one who could inherit his teachings.

"Mr. Qu," Li Fan bowed deeply to Qu Qingfeng. Qu Qingfeng extended his hand, and an invisible force supported Li Fan’s body. He said, "No need for such formalities."

"A teacher should rightly receive a student’s respect." *Li Fan felt a surge of emotion in his heart.*

The Old Blind Man’s arrival had surprised him sowhat, though it was not entirely unexpected. After all, the Old Blind Man had been keeping him alive since childhood.

But Mr. Qu entering Yunngze...

During the battle at Bai Lu Academy, Mr. Qu had been at a disadvantage against Bailong. To enter Yunngze was almost a decision of no return, but Mr. Qu still ca.

He had placed life and death aside.

*This kindness was sothing Li Fan could only rember in his heart.*

Of course, he also understood that Qu Qingfeng wasn’t doing it solely for his sake; rather, it was the ’Dao’ of a teacher.

"Are they your teachers?" At this mont, Yue Qingqiu asked in a soft voice, her eyes curious as they sized up the two human cultivators.

Li Fan was the first human she had ever t.

Now, she was seeing two more.

"Yes," Li Fan nodded. "The Old Blind Man is my master, as I’ve ntioned to you before. Mr. Qu is my teacher."

Qu Qingfeng was stunned briefly upon hearing Li Fan’s introduction, then turned to look at the Old Blind Man.

"A gentleman of your bearing is indeed worthy of the title of teacher." The Old Blind Man was not soone lacking magnanimity, and Qu Qingfeng’s willingness to risk his life for Li Fan ant that Li Fan calling him teacher was perfectly justified.

Yue Qingqiu continued to examine the two n curiously before turning to Li Fan and asking, "Are all humans this sentintal? They entered Yunngze for you, disregarding their own lives."

"Of course not," Li Fan replied with a smile. "People like them are exceedingly rare among humans."

Yue Qingqiu nodded thoughtfully and looked at the Old Blind Man and Qu Qingfeng. Then, she bowed slightly, catching the two n off guard.

The Old Blind Man chuckled and said, "This little fox has an interesting personality."

"People differ from one another, and so do demons," Qu Qingfeng said with a gentle nod and smile toward Yue Qingqiu.

"You seem to be enjoying your conversation," a coquettish voice suddenly rang out from within the Demon Saint Palace. "Have you all forgotten that I exist?"

"Lord Demon Saint." Yue Qingqiu’s expression shifted slightly as she turned her gaze toward the direction of the Demon Saint Palace.

Two humans had entered Yunngze, and the Lord Demon Saint would likely kill them.

Li Fan was her friend, and those two were Li Fan’s master and teacher. She didn’t want them to die here.

*But the Lord Demon Saint...*

"Boom."

An invisible pressure swept over them. Throughout the Demon City, several bursts of imnsely powerful energy descended upon this small courtyard.

The Old Blind Man raised his head slightly. Though blind, it seed as if he could see.

"The demons of Yunngze have grown so strong." *He felt a surge of emotion. Ten years ago, during the demon chaos in the Da Li Dynasty, Yunngze had remained uninvolved.*

*It seed Yunngze had been steadily amassing its power all these years.*

The Demon Saint’s aura was incredibly strong, likely at the peak of the Seventh Realm.

*Such a level of cultivation would make one among the most elite cultivators in the human world. In the entire Da Li Dynasty, cultivators of this caliber were exceedingly rare.*

Of course, this was to be expected of the Demon Saint who ruled Yunngze.

In the Demon World, such beings were equally scarce. Otherwise, how could the Da Li Dynasty cultivators suppress the demons?

In the Da Li, humans still maintained the upper hand in their clashes with demons.

Yunngze, as a top-tier demon power, was akin to the most elite cultivation sects in the human world. Its deep foundations likely surpassed those of most human sects.

But even so, Yunngze remained cautious and concealed its strength, presumably out of fear of a full-scale human siege.

"I’ve heard that the Li Mountain Great Sword Cultivator is the sharpest sword in the Da Li. Today, you’ve co to my Yunngze—let’s see what you’re made of." From the Demon Saint Palace, the Demon Saint’s voice echoed once more.

A ferocious and domineering voice responded, "A Li Mountain Sword Cultivator? Yunngze has been quiet for years, letting rogue cultivators grow arrogant. Today, let your sword be buried here."

As the voice faded, demon energy surged through the skies above the city, blotting out the heavens and casting the Demon City into shadow.

The Demon Saint laughed and said, "Demons within the city, take cover to avoid collateral damage."

The demons in the city all looked up at the sky, where an enormous pair of fiery red eyes appeared amid the rolling demonic clouds. In an instant, the sky turned the color of flas, as an oppressive and scorching heatwave enveloped the entire land. In re monts, the city was bathed in fiery red.

The searing heat seed as if it would incinerate and evaporate the entire city.

Li Fan looked up at the sky. As the oppressive energy descended, he felt the overwhelming presence of a supre demon, stronger even than Bailong’s pressure.

He saw the pair of fiery red eyes, and from the fiery clouds, a domineering demon figure erged—a Qilin Demon.

It was one of the most formidable demon monarchs beneath the Demon Saint, with cultivation at the peak of the mid-Seventh Realm, just one step away from the late stage.

Within Yunngze, its authority was imnse. If it progressed any further, it could pose a threat even to the Demon Saint.

Li Fan imdiately understood the identity of the Qilin that had appeared earlier—it was likely the offspring of this elite demon monarch. No wonder even the Peacock Demon King’s descendants revered it.

"Human," a thunderous voice bood from the sky. Those fiery eyes emitted an intense fla, generating a terrifying heat that lower-level cultivators likely couldn’t withstand.

"Let see your sword," the Qilin Demon roared. As its voice fell, a massive foot descended from above—it resembled a fiery stone pillar crashing down from the sky, accompanied by a deafening rumble.

The Old Blind Man raised his head toward the Qilin Demon, and suddenly, a burst of sword light erupted, the sword expanding in mid-air to et the fiery giant foot, piercing through it and shattering it.

"I’m old. Even demons dare to demand to see my sword now." *The Old Blind Man sighed, reminiscing about the days when his na caused demons to tremble.*

*Now, demons wanted to see his sword—was it that he had grown old, or had the world changed?*

"You know you’re old, so take it easy. If things get tough, I can help," Li Fan said, worried about the Old Blind Man’s injuries.

"Where could it possibly fall to you?" The Old Blind Man replied. "The Yunngze Demon Saint hasn’t even made an appearance, yet demons beneath their rule dare refer to themselves as ’this seat’ before a blind man."

"Xiao Fan," the Old Blind Man called out.

"I’m here," Li Fan replied softly.

"When your grandmaster taught you Sword Dao, did you ever see him wield his sword?" the Old Blind Man asked.

"I did," Li Fan nodded. "Grandmaster’s sword entered the Da Li Imperial City to bring you back."

"Your grandmaster was already old by then. If not for that battle, he might have lived a few more years. I burdened the old man." The Old Blind Man said, "Though, if your grandmaster had been at his peak, those people in Da Li wouldn’t have dared act so impudently. Perhaps, they wanted to provoke him into fighting."

"Demon Saint, let ask—you can’t truly think I’ll leave my disciple behind, can you?" The Old Blind Man spoke out boldly.

"Such arrogant words," the Demon Saint laughed. "I’ve grown quite fond of this young fellow. Naturally, I won’t let him leave so easily. If you want to take your disciple away, let’s see your skills."

"Very well," the Old Blind Man nodded.

As he finished speaking, his aura surged instantly. His frail figure emitted rising vitality. Sword Intent filled the air, and Sword Aura surged within the courtyard.

The Old Blind Man no longer looked like a withered elder. As his aura burst forth, Li Fan thought he seed to grow youthful again, and it left him montarily dazed.

Within the Demon City, countless demons fell to the ground. The smaller demons trembled uncontrollably.

Swords began to rise around the Old Blind Man, their numbers growing until they filled the city, pointing toward the sky.

A shadow materialized from the Old Blind Man’s body—it seed to be his Divine Soul.

The shadow soared into the heavens, rging with countless streams of Sword Intent. Li Fan gazed up at the figure—it looked just like the Old Blind Man in his youth: brimming with vitality, sharp and peerless.

The Qilin Demon in the sky growled deeply, its voice revealing unease. The Sword Intent radiated danger.

"Grant three hundred years, and even Sword Immortals must bow before ."

The old man sighed wistfully, his figure ascending toward the heavens, sword energy reaching upward.
