Along the journey, Li Fan and Ji Feng beca familiar with each other, as they were similar in age.

Ji Feng, apart from being sowhat narcissistic like a young master, was otherwise quite genuine, though perhaps a little simple-minded, likely due to being well-protected by his family.

Additionally, he was a bit of a ’womanizer,’ persistently pursuing Liu Ji along the way.

His sister, Ji Xue, on the other hand, was more silent and reserved. After several days of travel, Li Fan only knew of her presence and had yet to look at her properly.

This did add so fun to the trip, as Li Fan and Liu Ji had been traveling together for six months and were getting a bit bored. Fortunately, they t the Ji family mbers.

"Brother Yang," Ji Feng rode over to Li Fan. Li Fan looked at him and asked, "What’s the matter, Brother Ji?"

"I find that Miss Liu seems to like too. I wonder if Brother Yang could perhaps..." Ji Feng seed hesitant to speak.

"Feel free to speak, Brother Ji," Li Fan said straightforwardly.

"In that case, I won’t hold back," Ji Feng said. "I was wondering if, once we reach Yun ng City, Brother Yang could help talk to her and see if Miss Liu would be willing to follow ."

"No problem at all," Li Fan blurted out, "But, Brother Ji, what is it that you want?"

"As a concubine?" Ji Feng replied, "Our Ji Family is a well-known family in Jiangzhou. Having her as the main wife might be difficult, but as a concubine, I would not mistreat Miss Liu, and my family can be persuaded."

"Alright, once we get to Jiangzhou City, I’ll definitely speak to Liu Ji about it. If she’s willing, I have no objections." Li Fan thought to himself, do you really an it?

Ji Feng was moved by this and clasped his fists to Li Fan, "Brother Yang, how noble of you."

"What kind of woman does Brother Yang prefer?" Ji Feng asked.

"Like Brother Ji, more of an elder sister type," Li Fan said.

"Ah?" Ji Feng was stunned, "Then why not Miss Liu..."

Considering soone like Liu Ji was a stunning beauty, did Li Fan really not like her?

"We know each other too well," Li Fan replied, as he knew Liu Ji was a demon.

"I get it," Ji Feng had an understanding look in his eye, just like his sister. People in Jiangzhou City called her an exceptional beauty, but he didn’t feel she was beautiful at all.

Too familiar!

Thinking about his sister, Ji Feng said, "Brother Yang, co with ."

With that, he turned his horse, and Li Fan followed, asking, "Where to?"

"Brother Yang has worked hard on this journey, let’s take a break in the carriage together," Ji Feng said, grabbing Li Fan to dismount with him.

Li Fan did not refuse.

As they approached the carriage, Ji Feng leaned close to Li Fan’s ear and whispered, "My sister is a famous beauty in Jiangzhou, I’m giving Brother Yang an opportunity."

Li Fan: "??"

He looked at Ji Feng in surprise.

Selling his own sister?

"However, my sister has high standards, Brother Yang might find her hard to win over. It all depends on Brother Yang’s skills," Ji Feng added. Li Fan had been so straightforward, he couldn’t be stingy either.

Moreover, his sister wasn’t interested in Li Fan, but he still offered the chance, proving his loyalty to his friend.

Li Fan didn’t expect Ji Feng to be such an eccentric character, though it did fit his personality.

"Sister," Ji Feng said as he entered the carriage and imdiately t a pair of frosty eyes that made him freeze. Had she overheard him?

His sister was powerful, already in the mid-Soul Ergence Realm, perhaps she truly had heard.

"Let introduce a young hero," Ji Feng forced himself to continue, pulling Li Fan in, "Yang Qingshan, Brother Yang, this is my sister, Ji Xue."

"Miss Ji," Li Fan smiled and nodded.

Ji Xue glanced at Li Fan, gave a slight nod, then glared at Ji Feng before closing her eyes again.

However, from observing Li Fan and Liu Ji over the past few days, it did seem like they were just passing by, so she didn’t bother with Ji Feng’s antics.

Once inside Bai Lu Academy, she’d finally be free from his disturbances.

"Brother Yang, don’t feel awkward, my sister is just like that, cold on the outside but warm on the inside," Ji Feng told Li Fan, "Moreover, my sister has extrely high aptitude in cultivation, she is considered outstanding even in Jiangzhou City. After entering Bai Lu Academy for cultivation, she’ll definitely advance further."

Despite her eyes being closed, Ji Xue couldn’t help but twitch the corners, wondering how her parents could produce such an odd sibling. Could they take him back?

Liu Ji glanced outside with her beautiful eyes, holding back a laugh.

She had overheard their conversation outside.

Looking at Ji Xue, although this woman was undeniably beautiful, she probably wouldn’t catch Li Fan’s eye.

With Ye Qinghuang being so stunning, Liu Ji herself had beco more discerning towards beauties, not to ntion Li Fan, who had been following Ye Qinghuang since youthful years.

Based on what she knew, accounting for their ages.

When Li Fan was young, Ye Qinghuang was also in her pri.

"Right, we’ve known each other for days, but I don’t know how Brother Yang’s cultivation is. We’re close to Yun ng City now, and once we arrive, would Brother Yang be interested in trying your luck at Bai Lu Academy?" Ji Feng said, "Bai Lu Academy is the Jiangzhou Sacred Land, and its instructors are said to include even Sixth Realm Practitioners."

"I won’t be going," Li Fan smiled and replied.

"That’s true, Bai Lu Academy is hard to get into, I probably don’t stand a chance either," Ji Feng nodded, not looking down on Li Fan, as this was common knowledge in Jiangzhou.

Liu Ji laughed while looking at Ji Feng.

Sixth Realm cultivators?

Recalling the ti in Chuzhou City, the people who drank with Li Fan that day, weren’t there a few from the Seven Realms?

"Brother Ji, on this journey, why haven’t we encountered any demons?" Li Fan curiously asked.

"We’ve now reached the area near Yun ng City, a city built near Yun ng Swamp where the Great Demons erge. Its status in Jiangzhou is remarkable, no demons dare to show up around Yun ng City’s territory, as that would be courting death," Ji Feng explained, "Cultivators in Yun ng City are currently worried about having no place to hunt demons."

Li Fan nodded. Outside Chu State Mansion, demons could be seen everywhere, and there were even demon attacks on the city.

But Yun ng City, a place not under court jurisdiction, where many cultivators gathered, did not have any demon disturbances around.

This seed sowhat ironic, but upon deeper investigation of the root cause, it made sense.

Court officials were corrupt, and so even colluded with demons for their own interests.

However, for Yun ng City’s cultivators, hunting demons served their interests.

Cultivators were purer compared to the court.

The difference lay in that cultivators were more scattered, lacking the cohesiveness of the court.

If the court could act, its power would certainly surpass that of the cultivators.

Li Fan had a growing anticipation for the city they were about to reach.

"Uncle Zhang, how long until we arrive?" Ji Xue asked at this mont, and the coachman outside replied, "Miss, at this pace, we’ll arrive in Yun ng City in two days."

"Everyone must be tired from the journey, let’s rest and stretch," Ji Xue suggested.

"Yes, Miss," the coachman responded, and soon the convoy ca to a halt.

"Miss Liu, shall we go for a walk?" Ji Feng asked Liu Ji, giving Li Fan a aningful look.

"Okay," Liu Ji smiled at Li Fan, playfully agreeing to go with Ji Feng.

Li Fan shook his head with a wry smile, getting up to join the two of them outside.

"Yang Xia," at this ti, Ji Xue called from the other side. Li Fan looked over and asked, "Does Miss Ji need sothing?"

"Ji Feng likes to talk nonsense, Yang Xia, please don’t take it to heart," Ji Xue’s voice was gentle and pleasant, nodding politely at Li Fan; it was her first ti speaking with him.

Li Fan wasn’t sure which statent Ji Xue was referring to, as Ji Feng had said plenty of nonsense along the way.

However, thinking back to what Ji Feng said before he got on the carriage, Ji Xue likely spoke up because of that, so Li Fan quickly understood, nodding with a smile, "Don’t worry, Miss Ji, I didn’t take it seriously at all."

"Thank you," Ji Xue nodded lightly, and Li Fan walked out.

"Brother Yang, why did you co out too?" Ji Feng asked upon seeing Li Fan step out.

"Just stretching my limbs," Li Fan replied, "I won’t disturb you."

With that, he wandered off on his own.

Ji Feng silently praised Li Fan’s tact and turned to Liu Ji, "Miss Liu, shall we continue our walk?"

Liu Ji smiled as she watched Li Fan’s departing figure, then glanced at the curtain hiding the carriage interior, feeling more intrigued.

Ji Xue must worry that Li Fan would misunderstand and stop any improper thoughts?

This was understandable, having such a mischievous brother must have been exasperating for Ji Xue, given she was a maiden from a distinguished family.

Yet, although understandable, she couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy.

Ji Xue hadn’t spoken much along the way, but seed quite proud indeed.

"I must look after my master," Liu Ji’s eyes fell on Ji Feng, smiling as she spoke.

"Brother Yang is a grown man, surely he doesn’t need looking after," Ji Feng said.

"Young Master Ji might not know, but I am always uneasy if I don’t see my master," Liu Ji replied, making Ji Feng pause and ask, "What do you an, Miss Liu?"

"I understand your feelings, Young Master Ji, but my heart already belongs to soone else," Liu Ji cast a glance at Li Fan’s back. Ji Feng looked at Li Fan, then back at Liu Ji, feeling sowhat disheartened.

It seed like the falling flower has intentions, yet the flowing water is heartless.

"But your master, he..."

"I know my master’s standards are high and he dislikes diocrity, but I only wish to stay by his side and serve him," Liu Ji looked towards the carriage, seemingly hinting at sothing.

Ji Feng sighed, enviously glancing at Li Fan’s figure, "Brother Yang is certainly blessed."

Li Fan was unaware that Liu Ji was joining Ji Feng’s antics.

For him, this was just a small episode during his training journey, and eting Ji Feng and his group was rely a part of this episode.

Strangers eting by chance in a foreign land.

Once they reached Yun ng City, they would each go their separate ways.

He planned to stay in Yun ng City for a while to cultivate, and once his cultivation reached the Foundation Establishnt Realm, he would continue his travels.

Where his next destination would be, he had no clear idea; perhaps Chi Xiao City, or maybe sowhere else.
