Tang Dou walked quickly, as if there was a dog chasing her.
In the end, she took only a few steps before tripping over her own feet and almost falling.
Behind her, Sheng Yeli stared at her back, his handso eyebrows slightly furrowed.
Just as Tang Dou couldn’t understand how soone could be so embarrassed in such a short ti, Sheng Yeli also couldn’t understand how soone could be so clumsy?
A mont later, he confird she had entered the school and then withdrew his gaze.
On the way back, Sheng Yeli received a call from Sheng Ning’an.
After confirming he safely delivered her to school, Sheng Ning’an called Tang Dou.
"So, after being alone with my young uncle all the way, do you think there’s a chance for the two of you?"
"Stop it. If we’re sisters, don’t bring up this topic again." Tang Dou’s voice sounded weak.
"What happened? Did my young uncle bully you?" Sheng Ning’an noticed her off mood.
That doesn’t make sense, his young uncle at most just doesn’t like to interact with people, talks less, but it shouldn’t lead to bullying a girl.
"Don’t ntion it. You have no idea how embarrassed I was in front of him today." Tang Dou’s voice sounded as dejected as one could imagine.
She recounted everything that happened in the car, still feeling very embarrassed as she recalled it.
"Your young uncle probably thinks I’m a fool now."
If possible, she doesn’t want to appear in front of him for a while, so her friend trying to match them up is completely unrealistic.
Sheng Ning’an couldn’t help but laugh: "Sorry, I didn’t an to." Though it was very impolite, she just couldn’t hold it in.
"Go ahead and laugh, don’t hold back." Tang Dou also felt like she was a walking joke today.
It felt like she had lost face for an entire lifeti.
Even though Sheng Ning’an really wanted to laugh, she ultimately held it in tightly, comforting her, "It’s okay, losing face a few tis, you get used to it. As long as you’re not embarrassed, it’s the others who will feel embarrassed."
Easy for her to say, it’s not her losing face.
"Anyway, there’s no chance for the two of us, stop bringing it up." Dating is impossible unless she could sohow regain the face she lost in front of him.
But she knew that’s not possible.
"It’s just a trivial thing, shouldn’t be that big of a deal." Sheng Ning’an felt it wasn’t sothing that serious.
This girl ssing up repeatedly in front of his young uncle, doesn’t it prove she has so feelings for him?
Otherwise, why would she be nervous?
"This is trivial?"
She wondered how Sheng Ning’an’s 37-degree mouth could say such cold words.
Does losing face not count as losing face?
Sheng Ning’an: "You know, my young uncle’s head is just full of experints, he definitely won’t mind such trivial matters, probably forgets it in no ti."
"It’s a small matter to him, but it’s a huge deal to ." To a pretty girl, nothing is more significant than losing face in front of a guy.
"Alright then, my grandma heard you like seafood, and she said she’s planning to order a batch of fresh seafood airfreighted from abroad through a friend, and she intends to invite you to join us. But it seems you probably won’t co. Oh well, we’ll eat more ourselves when it arrives!" Sheng Ning’an pretended to be regretful.
"Wait, what did you just say?"
Upon hearing about the seafood feast, Tang Dou’s mouth involuntarily started watering.
