Seeing that the girl promised not to sneakily take a shower, Xu Weiran finally went next door.

He barely slept the latter half of last night, and fell asleep within monts of lying in bed.

On the other hand, Sheng Ning’an had a good sleep last night and wasn’t very tired at this mont. After Xu Weiran left, she lay in bed and carefully recalled last night’s events, unfortunately without any mory.

Thinking about what the nurse told her, she couldn’t help but curl her lips slightly.

Due to the effects of the dication, Sheng Ning’an started feeling drowsy after lying down for a while, and fell asleep again in a daze.

She was woken up by the sound of talking, and upon opening her eyes, saw soone standing by the bedside.

After making out who the person was, Sheng Ning’an couldn’t help but blink, determined it wasn’t her blurred vision and then spoke: "Young Uncle, why are you here?"

Sheng Yeli: "I heard you were sick, so I ca to check on you."

"I’m fine, but how did you know I was sick?" Afraid of worrying her family, she hadn’t told anyone.

Then she looked towards Xu Weiran: "Did you tell Young Uncle?"

"I only asked him if you had any dication allergies." Due to the infusion needing allergy history recorded, he had no choice but to call Sheng Yeli in the middle of the night.

Seeing that her fever had gone down, and she seed to be fine, Sheng Yeli was reassured and said, "Your grandmother made soup for you, it’s on the table. Rember to drink it, I’m leaving now."

"My grandmother knows I’m sick too?"

Sheng Yeli glanced at her: "Rest assured, I didn’t tell her."

Sheng Ning’an breathed a sigh of relief: "Good you didn’t tell her, so she won’t be worried. But the flu is quite serious lately, make sure my grandmother is careful too. I won’t be going back this weekend, to avoid spreading it to her. I’ll visit her when I’m better."

"Got it!" Sheng Yeli’s gaze fell inside the room, then on Xu Weiran, seemingly wanting to say sothing but ended up saying nothing.

Xu Weiran, perceptive, smiled and spoke: "Let’s go, Young Uncle, I’ll see you out."

Sheng Yeli looked at Xu Weiran’s shaless smile, especially when he called him Young Uncle, couldn’t help but darken his face and turned around without a word.

Xu Weiran saw him to the door, and Sheng Yeli looked at Xu Weiran with a stern face and said: "I hope you understand, that girl is still young, we Sheng Family are not in a hurry to marry her off."

"Rest assured, I won’t do anything rash." Understanding their concerns, if he had a daughter, he wouldn’t be comfortable with her living outside with a boy.

"I promise to respect her absolutely before marriage, won’t cross the line lightly."

"Best be that way." After saying this, Sheng Yeli left with a cold face.

Losing Sheng Yeli, Xu Weiran returned to the room.

Sheng Ning’an curiously looked at him and said: "What did my Young Uncle say to you?"

"How do you know he spoke to ?" Xu Weiran raised an eyebrow.

Sheng Ning’an: "Just a guess!"

Her Young Uncle clearly looked like he had sothing to say just now. Since it wasn’t to her, it must have been to Xu Weiran.

Judging by Xu Weiran’s reaction, she must’ve guessed correctly.

Xu Weiran smiled and said: "Nothing much, just told to take good care of you, and stuff like that."

"Really?" Sheng Ning’an looked at him half-believingly.

Why did she feel that her Young Uncle’s expression wasn’t like he wanted to say that?

"What else would you think your Young Uncle could say to ?" Xu Weiran laughed, "Patients need to rest well and not overthink."

She certainly hadn’t, it was clearly him hiding sothing from her.
