The Sheng Family was large, and Xu Weiran had prepared a trunk full of gifts for his first visit as Sheng Ning’an’s boyfriend.
"You’ve brought way too much!" Even Sheng Ning’an was shocked when she saw it.
Xu Weiran just laughed, "It’s fine, better to prepare a bit more to show my sincerity. That way, Grandpa and Grandma, as well as the uncles and aunts, might see in a better light."
"You make it sound like my grandparents and my parents only care about gifts, not people," Sheng Ning’an feigned anger.
"That’s not what I ant!" Xu Weiran hurriedly explained.

"Hello Grandpa, Grandma, uncles, and aunts!" This wasn’t Xu Weiran’s first visit; he had gotten to know the Sheng Family mbers while tutoring that young lady, but now the change in his status had made him much more reserved.
"What’s all this? You’re here, why bring so much stuff?" Qin Suxin was stunned for a mont before regaining her senses and calling out to him.
"Grandma, these are just small gifts, not much, but I hope you’ll not mind."
"You’re too polite, my boy, co over here and sit down," Qin Suxin had seen Xu Weiran before, but back then she regarded him as her son’s friend, and now he was her granddaughter’s fiancé.
But the boy was handso, sweet-talking, and knew his manners, which made him more endearing than her own children.
Qin Suxin grew more pleased as she watched him, and said to Sheng Ning’an, "You girl, why didn’t you help him? Quick, take Xu over to the sofa to sit, and I’ll go make so tea for you all!"
"Grandma, you don’t need to bother!" Xu Weiran quickly responded.
"No worries, just go and have a seat!" Qin Suxin said, then headed for the kitchen.
"Tsk, Grandma cares for you more than now!" Sheng Ning’an said somberly.
Xu Weiran set down the items and was led by Sheng Ning’an to sit on the sofa, where she pointed out each family mber to him, "My Grandpa, my parents, and you know my Young Uncle, and this over here is my brother."
"Hello Grandpa, Uncle, Auntie!"
Xu Weiran greeted everyone again, his gaze landing on Sheng Yeli’s face, and his lips curved as he said, "Hello Young Uncle!"
He had cheerfully called him ’Young Uncle,’ but Sheng Yeli maintained a stern face from start to finish.
If it weren’t for the other family mbers present, he might have felt like throwing this visitor out.
Finally, Xu Weiran’s gaze landed on Sheng Jinyu’s face, "You must be Jinyu, right? I often hear your sister speaking of you!"
After scrutinizing Xu Weiran for a mont, Sheng Jinyu nodded at him and then picked up a book he was holding.
Xu Weiran, having learned of the family’s preferences from that young lady, had brought along two cans of fine tea specially prepared for Sheng Yan Cheng, along with so high-quality tobacco and alcohol, items that were hard to get unless through friends.
For Qin Suxin and Shen Zhaozhao, he had prepared beauty cards and several health supplents, along with a few boxes of pastries he had personally bought early in the morning after waiting in a long queue.
As for Sheng Chuyi, Xu Weiran brought his latest research proposal: "Uncle Sheng, I have been working on a pure analog photoelectric fusion architecture chip and have encountered so issues. Knowing that Uncle Sheng’s company has a specialized chip research departnt and that Uncle Sheng himself is an expert in this field, I wonder if Uncle Sheng could give so guidance..."
After reviewing his research proposal and discussing the future direction of chip developnt, Sheng Chuyi’s view of him changed completely.
His usually stern expression softened.
