Xu Weiran hooked the corner of his mouth, his smile carefree and casual, “Even though I, your brother, am not thinking of getting married right now, it doesn’t hurt to save more in the wife fund. After all, you only get married once; of course, I have to give the best to the person I like.”

Sheng Ning’an promptly ordered a pile of food and didn’t forget to take a portion to go when leaving, truly taking his offer at face value.
Coming out of the restaurant, Xu Weiran pulled out his car keys and said, “Where to? Your brother will drop you off!”

“Let’s go!” Xu Weiran opened the passenger door, watched her get into the car, then closed the door before walking around to the driver’s seat.
“The takeaway you just packed isn’t for your Young Uncle, is it?” Xu Weiran glanced at the takeaway box beside her, started the car, and spoke up.
“Right! My Young Uncle probably hasn’t eaten yet; it’ll be just right to bring it to him.” Sheng Ning’an bent her lips into a smile.
Xu Weiran slightly raised an eyebrow, “Your relationship with your uncle seems quite good?” It’s a pity he didn’t have such an elder niece, or even siblings, to experience their kind of bond.
Sheng Annin, “Of course! My relationship with my Young Uncle has always been the best since I was young.”
Xu Weiran, “I really couldn’t tell.”
“What do you an by that?” Sheng Annin glared at him, feeling that the man was mocking her.
Xu Weiran said, “Your Young Uncle, normally so cold and aloof, cos across like an emotionless machine. I simply can’t imagine what his being good to soone looks like.”
Sheng Annin couldn’t help but speak in defense of her Young Uncle, “My Young Uncle just doesn’t like to talk, but he really cherishes a lot. Ever since I was young, he’s been my favorite.”
“That makes sense!”
Indeed, the fact that man asked him for help twice showed he had a different place in his heart for this young girl.
