Chapter 449: Chapter 449: The Art of Handling a Husband

After leaving Jiu Middle School, everyone went out to dinner together.

Shen Zhaozhao was treating.

After all, the basketball ga had started because of her.

After they finished eating, everyone went their separate ways.

On the way back, Shen Zhaozhao sat in the passenger seat, staring at Sheng Chuyi who was driving.

Sheng Chuyi noticed the girl’s gaze, turned his head, and asked, “What’s up?”

Shen Zhaozhao replied, “I didn’t expect you to still be so popular more than a year after graduation. I just realized, a lot of people ca because of you.”

She thought, this guy had graduated over a year ago; there shouldn’t be many at Jiu Middle School who still knew him. To her surprise, not only did his high school mates know him, but his admirers were everywhere in the middle school division too.

Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t help but recall the saying, “The brother is no longer in The Martial World, but tales of the brother are still passed around there.”

Sheng Chuyi didn’t care much about these things.

He said, “It might have been for soone else too.”

True, aside from him, Xie Yu and others like Zhou Huaiyu and Gu Chengzhou had quite a few fans as well.

With all those people together, it was likely to be more lively than if the school hosted a basketball ga.

However, Shen Zhaozhao still felt that Sheng Chuyi was the most popular among them. After all, standing in the crowd, she heard his na ntioned the most.

Sheng Chuyi said, “Your student isn’t bad either, he plays basketball very well.”

“He is only good at basketball, unlike you, you excel at everything.” Shen Zhaozhao’s words were sincere, as she genuinely believed her boyfriend was superior to others.

“Heh!” Sheng Chuyi chuckled softly.

It was unclear whether he believed her or not.

Later that night, after taking a bath, Shen Zhaozhao had just lay down on the bed when she received a call from Ye Zhen, “I heard your guy went to Jiu Middle School today?”

“You’ve heard about that?” Their visit to Jiu Middle School was just an afternoon event, yet, within a few hours, even Ye Zhen had caught wind of it.

Ye Zhen had to repeat her final year, although she didn’t make it to Jing University, she had gotten into quite a prestigious university elsewhere in Jing City. Shen Zhaozhao hadn’t seen her recently as she had been tutoring Xie Yu every week.

“Yeah, you know the impact of your guy. I saw a few groups discussing it this afternoon.” Although everyone had graduated, inevitably so of the juniors and seniors still at the school were familiar.

And just like that, the news spread.

“Is it a lot of pressure, being his girlfriend?” If it were her boyfriend who was this popular, to avoid trouble, she might choose to replace him.

“Not really! You know, he rarely talks to other girls.” Although many liked Sheng Chuyi, his aloof nature ant he seldom contacted other girls, which spared her lots of trouble.

Ye Zhen imagined how Sheng Chuyi treated other girls and couldn’t help but laugh, “It seems you do have a way with your ‘husband’.”

This didn’t seem to be her own rit.

After all, personality traits are innate.

She could only say she was lucky to have t such an outstanding and disciplined man.

Thinking about it made her heart gleeful.

The mont Sheng Chuyi stepped out of the bathroom and saw the girl lying on the bed and giggling, he paused while drying his hair and asked, “What’s up?”

Shen Zhaozhao got up from the bed and cheerfully said, “Ye Zhen just told I have a way with you.”

“???”

Sheng Chuyi looked puzzled.

Shen Zhaozhao explained, “She was complinting you!”

Sheng Chuyi paused slightly, then quickly caught on and smiled. He stepped forward, pulled Shen Zhaozhao into his arms, and asked, “So, what reward are you planning to give ?”
