Little Ali sat cross-legged on the floor, building with blocks while occasionally frowning and glancing at Shen Zhaozhao, who was more of a hindrance than a help, sitting next to her.
The little one’s expression was a serious exercise in patience.

“I don’t need you to play with .” The little one said with a nearly taut face.
She all but wrote the word “disdain” across her face.
“But I want to play with you,” Zhaozhao blinked, deliberately teasing her.
The little one had mild autism, which had improved over the past few years after treatnt, but she still didn’t talk much.
Shen Zhaozhao felt that kids should act like kids, so she couldn’t help teasing her every ti she saw her.
“Brother, can you do sothing about her?” The little one frowned, looking to Sheng Chuyi for help.
Sheng Chuyi looked up from behind his book and said to Shen Zhaozhao, “Stop picking on Ali.”
“Who’s picking on her! I clearly want to be loving and close to her.” Saying this, Zhaozhao didn’t forget to ss up the little one’s face. Under her fierce glare, Zhaozhao turned to Sheng Chu and said, “Don’t worry, the two of us will definitely get along well.”
Sheng Chuyi wore a look of helpless indulgence and stood up, saying, “That’s good, I’ll go wash so fruit for you guys.”
“Okay!” Zhaozhao grinned and replied.
The little one finally escaped her clutches and saw her own brother give up rescuing her because of a single sentence from Zhaozhao. She looked again at Zhaozhao, who was staring in the direction her brother had left, and belatedly realized sothing. Her small face scrunched up, and with a gravity that belied her age, she said, “You have a crush on my brother, don’t you? I’d advise you to give up; my brother would never like you.”
The little kid knew quite a lot!
“Oh, really?” Zhaozhao looked at her leisurely and asked, “What kind does he like then?”
Little Ali, “Definitely not soone like you…”
“What am I like?” Zhaozhao asked, both annoyed and amused.
The little one frowned and said with distaste, “Clumsy, annoying.”
“My dear child, I just got admitted to Jing University on a special recomndation, and you’re calling dumb?” Zhaozhao couldn’t help but laugh and once again stretched out her claws, kneading his face into different shapes.
The little one’s pale face was squeezed out of shape, and glaring angrily, she said, “That’s why my brother won’t like you, either.”
Zhaozhao deliberately teased her, “What if I can make your brother fall for ? Then, whenever you see , you’ll just obediently let pinch your face, how about that?”
“Impossible, he would never like you,” the little one’s face turned red, whether from anger or from Zhaozhao’s teasing.
Just then, Sheng Chuyi ca out of the kitchen with the cut fruit.
Zhaozhao glanced at the little kid and slyly said to Sheng Chuyi, “Yiyi, my hand’s tired, why don’t you feed directly?”
Sheng Chuyi smiled and approached with the fruit, actually using a fruit pick to skewer a piece of her favorite fruit and bring it to her mouth.
Zhaozhao opened her mouth to take it, saying with a smile, “Thank you, it’s really sweet!” She didn’t forget to give a triumphant smile at the little one.
The little one watched the two of them, her face a picture of shocked petrification.
Monts later, she turned her head and quietly walked to the corner to squat down.
