“Why are you still awake at this late hour?”
“I was just about to sleep. Did you need sothing?”

“Thanks!” Shen Zhaozhao took the milk, and the warmth of the cup against her palm felt comforting.
But how did he know she hadn’t gone to bed yet?
And to show up at her door so late just to bring her milk,

“Drink up and get to sleep early!” Sheng Chuyi urged.
“Got it!” Shen Zhaozhao nodded obediently.
Seeing her rare docile appearance, Sheng Chuyi couldn’t help but raise his hand to ruffle her hair.
“You’ve ssed up my hairdo!” Shen Zhaozhao complained, but she didn’t pull away.
“Good night!” Sheng Chuyi chuckled softly, then turned to go back to his room.
Shen Zhaozhao watched his back for a mont before closing the door and carrying the milk inside.

During the weekend, Shen Zhaozhao spontaneously decided to bake a cake for herself.
Halfway through, she realized she was missing so ingredients, so she placed a rush order online.
Soon after she placed the order, she heard a knock on the door.
“That was fast?” Shen Zhaozhao muttered as she ran to open the door, only to find ng Feifei standing there unexpectedly.
Both of them froze upon making eye contact.
Shen Zhaozhao’s first instinct was to close the door.
Outside, ng Feifei ca to her senses, furious, and began to furiously ring the doorbell.

ng Feifei stood her ground, “I have sothing I need Chuyi’s help with.”
“Really? And what help would you be needing from him?” Shen Zhaozhao inquired.
“That’s my business, why should I tell you?” ng Feifei glanced at her disdainfully.
“Fine, I don’t want to know anyway,” Shen Zhaozhao said as she began to close the door.
“What are you doing?” ng Feifei hurriedly stretched her hand out to stop her.
“You’re here to see Sheng Chuyi, aren’t you? Then you can wait at the door!” Shen Zhaozhao declared.
She still wanted to bake her cake and didn’t have ti to waste on a verbal fight.
“What do you an?” ng Feifei glared at her, realizing she didn’t intend to call him for her.
Shen Zhaozhao: “I an, he’s not ho. You either wait here or co back another ti.”
“What?” ng Feifei scread again, “You an he’s not in? Then why are you inside his house?”
Shen Zhaozhao: “Why should I tell you?”
ng Feifei suddenly seed to have a revelation and pointed at her, accusing loudly, “You’ve actually sneaked into soone’s house when they’re not ho? Shen Zhaozhao, this is trespassing!”
