Sheng Chuyi turned his gaze back and responded, “Long ti no see!”
Soon after, Lu Xu and Sang Youyou also turned to look at him.
Lu Xu raised an eyebrow and greeted, “Isn’t this our grand campus heartthrob? You’re back too?” he said, moving forward to give him a hug.
He rembered just in front of him that this person didn’t like getting close to others, stopped himself abruptly, and ended up just patting him on the shoulder.
Sang Youyou’s eyes lit up at the sight of him, “It’s Chuyi, looking even handsor than before!”
“Sang Youyou, your drool is falling!” Lu Xu glanced at her and teased with a raised eyebrow.
Sang Youyou subconsciously wiped her mouth, then realized she had been played and glared at him, “Not at all! Stop talking nonsense.”
Everyone laughed and joked around, heading outside.
Xu Siyan took over the suitcase from Shen Zhaozhao, saying, “Let help you with that!”
“Thank you!” Shen Zhaozhao smiled at him as she lifted her head.
The two walked side by side.
“How is it, getting used to Jing City?” Xu Siyan asked.
Shen Zhaozhao couldn’t help complaining, “Not great, the people in Jing City all look down on others, not nearly as cute as the people here.”
“With your personality, you definitely won’t be bullied!” Xu Siyan said with a laugh.
“Of course not!” Shen Zhaozhao’s eyes sparkled with pride.
Sheng Chuyi watched the two of them, his eyes darkening slightly.
How was he unaware that their relationship had beco so close? It seed that during the two years of his absence, the four of them had beco closer than he had imagined.
“Where are we heading now?” coming out of the high-speed train station, Shen Zhaozhao asked.
“To have so fun, of course!” Lu Xu said, “I’ve already picked out a place. Let’s go eat first, then sing.”
“What about my luggage?” Shen Zhaozhao looked at the suitcase in Xu Siyan’s hand.
“How about we find a place to store it first?” Sang Youyou suggested.
Xu Siyan: “Or we could just take it with us!”
“Let’s just take it ho first!” Sheng Chuyi interjected, “Aunt Shu Ran and Uncle Shen know you’re coming back today; if they don’t see you or your things later, they might get worried.”
“Then let’s go to my house first!” Shen Zhaozhao finally decided.
“Okay!” The group then hailed a cab to Shen Zhaozhao’s ho.
As Sheng Chuyi placed his and Shen Zhaozhao’s suitcases together, everyone was surprised, “You’re staying here too?”
Even Shen Zhaozhao looked at him, puzzled.
Sheng Chuyi: “Aunt Shu Ran said the house isn’t cleaned up yet, so she asked to stay here for now.”
Shen Zhaozhao thought about her parents having to work these days, possibly not having ti to clean, and didn’t think much of it.
The others, however, looked distinctly uncomfortable.
Sang Youyou was sowhat okay with it, knowing Shen Zhaozhao and Sheng Chuyi stayed together in Jing City. Lu Xu and Xu Siyan’s expressions were sowhat subtle, one playful and the other somber.
