Chapter 125: Chapter 125: The Heart Seems to Have Been Struck by Sothing

“Morning!”

Shen Zhaozhao yawned as she ca downstairs and saw Sheng Chuyi sitting on the living room sofa, reading a book.

The young man was dressed in a white tracksuit, with a slender and tall figure. Sunlight sprinkled on him, the serenity of his profile akin to that of a painting.

Upon hearing her, he lifted his head and glanced at her, saying, “It’s not early anymore!”

Shen Zhaozhao pretended not to hear.

She had no intention of getting up early out of embarrassnt.

Her gaze fell on the dining table nearby, where she saw breakfast laid out. Shen Zhaozhao’s eyes lit up, and she walked over, asking, “Did you make these?”

“Hmm,” Sheng Chuyi returned his gaze to his book and continued reading.

“Are they for ?”

Shen Zhaozhao felt relieved. The spread looked good—it seed she wouldn’t have to worry about als in the future.

She grabbed a sandwich and took a bite, sitting next to Sheng Chuyi while munching. She leaned over and asked, “What are you reading?” Finding she couldn’t understand a word, she peeked at the book’s cover.

“Isn’t this a university textbook?” If she rembered correctly, they were just about to start their second year of high school, weren’t they?

Sheng Chuyi: “Yeah, I finished the high school material.”

Shen Zhaozhao: “Heh.” Suddenly, the sandwich in her hand lost its appeal!

You’re amazing, you’re remarkable!

While others are sprawled asleep, you don’t even fully unroll your bedding.

Forget it, let others be diligent. She was content to be the bug on a cabbage, watching others toil while she crawled around.

Shen Zhaozhao took a big bite of her sandwich and asked, “Where are we going to hang out in a bit?”

Sheng Chuyi put down his book and said, “There are many places to see in Jing City; a single day won’t be enough, but that’s okay. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future. Today, I’ll just take you around nearby.”

“Okay!” Shen Zhaozhao hadn’t completely planned to explore all of Jing City in one day.

There would be ti in the future.

“Wait for ,” she said, then stuffed the rest of her sandwich into her mouth in one huge bite, stood up, and ran upstairs.

Soon, Shen Zhaozhao ca down in different clothes.

Sheng Chuyi heard footsteps and looked up, his gaze instantly fixated.

There was Shen Zhaozhao, dressed in a pure white dress and sporting a bun, looking youthful and innocent, very pretty indeed.

His heart seed to skip a beat as if struck by sothing, but he was quick to conceal it and looked away.

Two years had passed, and this girl had undergone quite the transformation from what he rembered.

“What’s wrong? Don’t I look nice?” Shen Zhaozhao deliberately spun around in front of him. Seeing his indifferent reaction, she couldn’t help feeling disappointed.

This was the dress she had bought specially for their eting in Jing City.

Sheng Chuyi: “No, it’s just that it seems too ladylike. It doesn’t quite match your usual deanor.”

Shen Zhaozhao’s smile froze on her face, and she glared at him, saying harshly, “Sheng Chuyi, you just want to say I’m a tomboy!”

Sheng Chuyi neither admitted nor refuted, simply saying, “Let’s go!” Although his face was expressionless, the upward curve of his lips gave away a sliver of his thoughts.

“Hold on, I need gear.” Shen Zhaozhao fished out a pair of sunglasses from her bag and put them on, instantly transforming from a Little Fairy to a cool girl.

Shen Zhaozhao pushed the sunglasses up her nose and tipped her chin towards Sheng Chuyi, declaring, “Now we can head out!”

The arc of Sheng Chuyi’s smile deepened, and he put a cap on her head, saying, “Let’s go!”
