Sweet slice-of-life love story: Wife, Let's love again Chapter 49: Some Things Don’t Need to Be Said
They strolled together to the dormitory building, and He Fang hesitated before stepping forward and gently hugging him.
"We’ll have plenty of ti later; there’s no need to rush."
"Yeah, I’m not in a rush," Qin Guanglin nodded, understanding what she ant.
In fact, he hadn’t been in much of a hurry, it was just that being intimate with her sotis made him lose control.
"Good, no rush," He Fang said with a smile, stepping back and waving at him, "Okay, I’m heading up."
Qin Guanglin felt a little reluctant to let her go, but he didn’t delay her. It’s always better to lie down in the dormitory early, "Go ahead, get so rest early."
"Yeah, be safe on your way back."
He Fang carried the small box and slowly walked into the dorm, looking back twice. That fool was still standing there, waiting for her to go upstairs before he left.
Humming a song softly, she returned to the dormitory to find only Zhou Nan and Chen Yan lying on their beds. Seeing her, they started teasing her, "Coming back from one trip and you’re already looking more spirited. You must really be craving so... nourishnt~"
"Do you even know what ’nourishnt’ really ans?" He Fang rolled her eyes at them, pfft, so young.
"What’s that you’re carrying? Did he give it to you?" Chen Yan climbed off the bed, her curiosity through the roof, "Open it, let us envy you a bit."
"Just a pen," He Fang said, sitting on her bed and opening the box, spinning the pen between her fingers.
The familiar feeling made her unable to help feeling delighted; she couldn’t hide the smile on her face.
"Wow! I’m so jealous!" Zhou Nan also climbed off the bed, "That’s the, um..." She paused, trying to rember the na, "I saw it once, really wanted one!"
"It looks extraordinary," Chen Yan wasn’t much interested in pens, but she was still dazzled by its beautiful design.
"Of course, I’ll make my boyfriend buy one too, a Pilot Sakura!" Zhou Nan finally rembered, but lanted, "I would never buy it for myself, though."
"Let him buy you ten," He Fang said playfully, examining the pen a bit more before putting it away, not planning to use it just yet.
"Sigh, only if I find a rich boyfriend," Zhou Nan smacked her lips, not holding out much hope.
"If he doesn’t buy it, just hit him!"
"Yeah, hit him!" Chen Yan chid in, "You’re so tough, most people couldn’t take you anyway."
"Dostic violence is not okay," Zhou Nan glanced sideways at them, "We should win people over with virtue."
He Fang pursed her lips, trying to hold back a giggle, "Yeah, win people over with virtue."
"Pssh, I’ll conquer with my beauty," Chen Yan stroked her own cheek.
The three of them goofed around for a while, then soone knocked on the door, "Is He Fang there? Soone’s looking for you downstairs."
"Got it!" He Fang called back, preparing to get down from her bed again.
"Just parted and he’s already missing you, tsk tsk," Chen Yan said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Why not just move out and live with him, aren’t you tired of running up and down?" Zhou Nan also teased purposely.
"That shouldn’t be him," He Fang said, puzzled, as she got up and peered out the window, imdiately frowning.
"Hey, why did you climb back into bed? Not going down?" Zhou Nan asked.
"A boring person, what’s the point in seeing him?" He Fang lay back in bed and started fiddling with the gift box again.
"It’s not your boyfriend?" Chen Yan curiously peeked out the window, "It’s really not the sa guy as last ti."
Zhou Nan now understood, "Soone else pursuing you?"
"Used to, but I rejected him. Seeing with my boyfriend today must have piqued his interest," He Fang remarked.
"I rember now, is it that Ke Nan?" Chen Yan looked at the person below, finding him familiar, and after a mont’s thought she rembered.
He Fang couldn’t help but laugh, "I rembered it as Ke Bei, but you rembered him as Ke Nan."
"Ke Dong, right? That rich second-generation kid." Zhou Nan knew who they were talking about from their conversation; she had been the one to reject him on He Fang’s behalf several tis before.
"Yeah, his na is Ke Dong. I couldn’t tell if he’s rich, but either way, it’s none of my business." He Fang said.
"Why don’t you go down and talk to him? Otherwise, how long will you have to wait?" Chen Yan moved away from the window, feeling a bit sorry for him.
"Yeah, otherwise soone else will co knocking soon." Zhou Nan was just annoyed by the knocking.
"I’ve rejected him so many tis; it’s so annoying," He Fang thought for a mont and then slowly got up from the bed, "I’ll talk to him one more ti. After that, whatever he wants to wait for is up to him—it’s none of my concern."
After putting on a jacket and going downstairs, He Fang stopped at the entrance of the dormitory building and asked, "What’s up?"
"Um... There are so things I’d like to talk to you about." Ke Dong took two steps forward. "Let’s find a convenient place."
"No need. Just say it here, so my boyfriend doesn’t get the wrong idea." He Fang spoke with a blank expression.
"You guys are really dating?!" Ke Dong was a bit agitated and asked a redundant question.
"Didn’t you see for yourself?" He Fang was sowhat perplexed, "I don’t owe you anything, do I? I didn’t accept a single thing from you before, and I made it clear every ti that I wouldn’t date anyone in school."
This guy is so strange, acting like I’ve betrayed sothing... Does he have a problem?
"I gave up because you said you’d absolutely never date soone at school, or else I..." Ke Dong was sowhat angry.
"Or what? Continue to do ridiculous things?" He Fang frowned, "You should understand that who I like is my choice, and you have no right to interfere."
"I have the freedom to like you too!"
"But your affections are a nuisance to . I don’t need them, and I really dislike the things you do. Haven’t you understood after so many rejections?"
He Fang was getting impatient, "Whether it’s giving gifts or confessing, you’re only moving yourself. I’ve already told you several tis, I don’t like you."
"Tell what kind of person you like! I’ll work hard to beco that!" Ke Dong was even more furious, "What does that guy have that I don’t?! I like you way more than he does!"
He couldn’t accept He Fang being with that man, who dressed so poorly. Why him!
"First off, he is my boyfriend, not ’that guy.’" He Fang’s face darkened, "Second, you can’t compare to him in any way." She paused, then turned around, "If there’s nothing else, I’ll be going back now. Please stop looking for ."
Such a waste of ti.
"The money for a single pair of my shoes could buy his entire wardrobe!" Ke Dong was indignant, "Those crappy gifts he gives you—I could buy ten! A hundred!"
He Fang stopped in her tracks, turned around, and looked at him mockingly, "So what if you buy a thousand? Is that your money?"
"I’ll buy..."
She tightened the jacket around her, interrupting, "You say you like more than he does? In what way, tell ?"
The wind at night was still so cold during the sumr; she missed that fool’s warm embrace.
Ke Dong stuttered a bit, "And him? Whatever he can do for you, I can do it better!"
"Him?" He Fang let out a lancholic laugh, "He could die for . How can you compete with that?"
Ke Dong looked at her incredulously, not understanding how she could believe such a thing, "I can say that too, I’d die for you a hundred tis!"
"No, he’s never said that." He Fang curved the corners of her mouth, "Many things don’t need to be said, just like I’ve never said what I would do for him."
"Understand? Don’t co here again; you might cause misunderstandings."
"I don’t believe it!" Ke Dong’s face turned red with frustration, "I’ve done so much for you! Can’t you see how much..."
"Childish."
He Fang had no patience to listen any longer; everything that needed to be said had been said, whatever longer he decided to wait had nothing to do with her.
