Qin Guanglin waited for a mont, seeing that He Fang had not yet relieved, he poured the water from the bowl into a cup for her and turned to leave the room.

"I’ll go ask if there’s any good solution."

"Don’t..." He Fang didn’t manage to stop him, and could only watch helplessly as he ran off to find Qin’s Mom.

How could Qin’s Mom possibly have a solution for this... He Fang sighed, burying her head in the covers, refusing to co out.

"Going out in the rain." Qin Guanglin turned around, not finding Qin’s Mom, opened his computer irritably, "Wait for to check online, okay?"

"I already said it would pass soon." He Fang poked her head out from the covers, "Stop fussing."

"It’s been several ’soons’ already." Seeing the mark on her lip where she bit it, Qin Guanglin felt even more regretful, damn waterlons!

"Making a fuss over nothing." He Fang hugged the pillow to her chest, seemingly feeling a bit better.

"Hot water is for warming, dummy!" Qin Guanglin smacked his thigh, turned towards her, "Who told you to drink it?"

He Fang rolled her eyes, "You know better, or do I?"

"Baidu knows better!" Qin Guanglin stood up again, looking for a sealed bottle.

"Believe that, you’d need a coffin ready just to catch a cold." He Fang, feeling better, started talking more.

"Quick, knock on wood!" Qin Guanglin was displeased, "Stop speaking ill-fated words."

"Knock!" He Fang turned her back, not bothering with him.

After rummaging around the room and fiddling outside for a while, Qin Guanglin sat back at the computer, scratching his head, finding no bottles at ho that could be used as hand warrs.

"Hey, this looks reliable." Qin Guanglin stood up again, ready to help her, but hesitated in the middle.

"What are you trying to do now?" He Fang asked weakly, "Don’t do that... huh!" Before she finished speaking, she suddenly curled up, her little face turning pale as she bit her lip tightly.

"Massaging relieves it fastest." Seeing her pain, Qin Guanglin hurried to the bedside, rubbing his hands together quickly.

He Fang managed to turn towards him, "Are you... taking advantage of ... again?"

"Stop the nonsense!" Qin Guanglin felt his hands warming up, urging her, "At a ti like this, who’s taking advantage?"

"Close the door." He Fang squeezed out two words, clutching her stomach, stopped speaking.

Qin Guanglin rubbed his hands, went over to nudge the door shut with his foot, then turned back, slipping his steaming hands under her clothes, feeling the chill.

"Mmm..." He Fang groaned, guiding his hand lower, "It hurts here."

Qin Guanglin applied slight pressure, gently kneading, "Here?"

He Fang nodded, keeping her eyes closed, silent.

Kneeling by the bedside massaging for a few minutes, Qin Guanglin watched her slowly relax, her furrowed brow easing, and he let out a long breath, "Feeling better?"

"Much better." He Fang opened her eyes, "You can move away now."

"Massage a bit longer, or it’ll hurt again soon." Qin Guanglin withdrew his hand, rubbing it to generate heat, "I’m not taking advantage."

"Yes you are." He Fang’s face hadn’t regained its color, remaining pale, but her expression was much more relaxed.

"If you say so."

Qin Guanglin didn’t argue with patients, waited until his hands were hot again, slipped them back, blaming the lousy waterlon—he’d eat them all tonight!

"Does it feel good?" He Fang placed her little hand over his, pressing slightly to indicate more force.

"Looks like you’ve recovered." Qin Guanglin sneered, now she even had the energy to tease him.

"It’s inappropriate for n and won to touch, you’re being a rogue." He Fang, though much less in pain, hadn’t regained her strength, spoke softly.

"How can that be called being a rogue between boyfriends and girlfriends?"

Qin Guanglin retorted, albeit unenthusiastically, but his thoughts were caught up in her words, indeed, it felt quite nice, delicate and smooth, soft as a water-filled balloon—no, even softer and more delicate.

Noticing his movents slowing, He Fang squinted, "You’re not being honest."

"No, I’m not!" Qin Guanglin denied.

Pausing, he added, "Even if I were, it’s because you deliberately led on."

How could she be so sharp? Just the mont he was distracted, she noticed.

"Take it out." He Fang pulled his hand away, "Keep touching, and it really would be being a rogue."

"Hmph, a doctor is like a parent, you know?" Qin Guanglin tested the water’s temperature from the cup by the bed, turned to leave again, "Let get you a fresh hot cup."

He Fang lay staring at his back in a daze, then began to laugh.

"Sit up, hold it and drink slowly." Qin Guanglin handed her the steaming hot water.

"It’s so hot." He Fang sipped and complained softly.

"The hotter, the better." Qin Guanglin looked at his hand, raised his head, "Hey, if I held the cup for a while earlier, wouldn’t my hands be warr than rubbing them?"

"You’d need an outside glass." He Fang was holding an insulated cup with a heat-shielding layer.

Qin Guanglin nodded, "I’ll do that next ti."

"You’re planning for next ti?" He Fang glared at him.

"Knock on wood, knock on wood, no next ti." He realized his slip; one episode was enough, no more letting her eat waterlon.

"Your cup stinks too." He Fang tried drinking again, still too hot, found another excuse to complain.

"You drank so much and just rembered?"

Qin Guanglin watched his hand, lost in thought, even rubbing his fingers together.

"What are you thinking?" Seeing his little actions, He Fang reached out, pinched his waist, "Are you savoring it?"

"You’ve got to be a demon in disguise!" Qin Guanglin almost jumped.

Was this mind-reading?! How could he hide nothing from her?!

"You need to respect Teacher He." He Fang placed the cup on the bedside, lay down again, "Stop thinking inappropriate thoughts, nothing escapes ."

"What’s that Qi Dun thing you ntioned, is it easy to learn?" Qin Guanglin leaned in to ask, feeling it was too handy, practically invincible.

He Fang shook her head, "It’s not easy, requires a one-in-a-million genius, like , to master about thirty percent."

"Already so powerful at thirty percent?!" Qin Guanglin exclaid, if fully mastered, wouldn’t one ascend during the day?

"Yes." He Fang nodded seriously, "If fully mastered, one could sleep for eight hundred years like Ancestor Chen Tuan, and beco immortal."

Qin Guanglin examined her closely, "You look like you’re about to beco immortal."

The world wasn’t short of geniuses, whether with photographic mory or seven orifices, various talents may exist, but such people seed to be destined for greatness, future big shots, how would they end up mingling with a small-ti painter like him for romance?

Geniuses have quirks, maybe this was her unique hobby? If so, he sure had struck treasure, a one-of-a-kind deal.

He Fang laughed, "I’m a fairy who descended, lucky you, a re mortal."

"Could it be you’re the Snail Spirit I released a thousand years ago, returning to repay ?" Qin Guanglin pondered this possibility, stroking his chin, "Or... ouch! You pinched again!"

"You’re the real Snail Spirit." He Fang pinched and then rubbed his spot, "Do you know what a fairy is?"

"Mi Fei!" Qin Guanglin brightened, "You’re the reincarnation of the God Luo!"

"That’s more like it." He Fang nodded in satisfaction.

Qin Guanglin gave her a loud kiss, "Kissing the living God Luo, my life’s complete."

"You dirtied God Luo with your saliva, now you’re in trouble." He Fang turned her face towards him, "This side too."
