Why didn’t Gordon go down with Sean himself, or have soone send up a bowl of oatal?

He could entirely do so, but he didn’t.

Gordon was well aware that if the porridge was brought to the room by him or sent by soone else right now, Sean might not eat it.

But if it was brought to him personally by the owner of the Lochindaal Hotel.

Given Sean’s personality developed from a young age, he couldn’t possibly refuse.

Gordon didn’t ask Sean what happened, because when he entered, he imdiately noticed the old newspaper in Sean’s hand.

Gordon knew there must be news of Sean’s mother’s death within it; Sean had already ntioned this.

If Sean were able to find any concrete evidence about events from more than ten years ago, it would undoubtedly be in the old newspaper he’s holding onto.

The reason for not being able to reunite with his sister must also be embedded in these newspapers.

After being a stand-up codian for so many years, Gordon feared that in monts of excitent, he might say sothing he shouldn’t.

At the end of the day, deep down in Gordon’s heart, affirming the truth yet saying recognition is impossible seems very pretentious.

Nevertheless, Gordon didn’t express this thought openly.

Over the years of interaction, Sean has never once admitted he couldn’t handle sothing himself.

Coupled with Sean’s current state, Gordon knew there is certainly a hurdle he couldn’t overco.

Rarely, Gordon restrained the usual aggressiveness in his language.

This was precisely the reason he worried upfront and wanted to accompany Sean.

All along, Gordo, such a heavyweight agent, naturally organizes everything ticulously without waiting for the artist to speak up.

Gordon quickly found the news images of that murder case from nineteen years ago.

It didn’t take much effort to understand the ins and outs of the events.

Sean ca eagerly to Islay seeking "evidence." He wants Sumr to believe the connection between them, helping Sumr retrieve childhood mories, yet he imdiately stumbled upon such cruel facts.

Not only Sean, even Gordon felt sowhat on the verge of collapse upon seeing the news.

The matter is not complex, yet the plot feels sowhat surreal.

Such a story seems a bit misplaced in real life.

But Gordon, having told so many stories, understands that life itself is often more "spectacular" than television dramas.

How is he supposed to help Sean deal with this matter?

Gordon could undoubtedly lay all the facts before Sumr Fairmont.

Then say: See, this is you when you were young, this deceased person is your mother, don’t deny it, Sean is your brother; he has been looking for you for many years, you should recognize him.

This is the quickest and most straightforward way to solve the problem.

But Gordon knows, if he really did this, Sean would never forgive him for a lifeti.

Including himself, he would also feel that this tarnishes his illustrious image.

Then, what other solution is there?

A mont ago, Gordon was full of confidence declaring he could help Sean sort things out; now, he’s equally helpless.

If he weren’t too overweight to sit cross-legged, Gordon might ponder slowly in the room; after all, there’s still ti.

Gordon, like Hieronymus, took it for granted.

Ti is not a matter of assuming you have it when you think you do.

Sean had just sat down on the first floor when Sumr walked into Lochindaal.

This place not only provides accommodation but is also a restaurant and bar frequented by locals of Port Charlotte.

Sumr Fairmont was urgency-driven to return to Islay not only to bid farewell to the past but also because she needed to urgently discuss a new whiskey label design with the independent whiskey bottler she often collaborates with today.

After drinking all day yesterday, Sumr was finally a bit tipsy, directly falling asleep in the cellar.

Whenever Sumr drank until she fell asleep, she could forget so displeasing matters.

For instance, the scene of the accident during the first eting with Sean.

Under the pouring of 96-degree Water of Life, upon waking, Sumr was less resistant to Sean.

Upon eting, he imdiately remarked how much Sumr resembled his mother.

If this was ant as a pickup line, it’s an absolute multi-car accident scene.

Sean was referring to his own mother; to Sumr’s view, it was a matter unrelated to her.
