Leo noticed the slightly attentive gaze of Sumr Fairmont as he returned to the calm deanor of a Nation’s Gentleman: "Because you’re Artie Vaughn’s best friend, I instinctively felt obliged to tidy up these docunts at the ti."

"Did you read them?" Sumr Fairmont didn’t like the feeling of her privacy being invaded.

"I didn’t touch the unopened docunts. But I did see the beginning of the letters that had been opened. It was just the first line with your na written there. Initially, I was concerned it might be your will, and I was afraid Artie Vaughn would be upset. Once I realized it wasn’t, I didn’t tell anyone, including Artie."

"Take away?" Sumr Fairmont’s succinct style was sothing Leo was still not quite used to.

He didn’t understand what Sumr Fairmont ant precisely.

"You, why, take away, docunts?" Sumr Fairmont explained "in great detail" in his best attempt at straightforward Chinese, without any strange tone.

Sumr Fairmont and Leo could actually speak English, as Leo and Artie Vaughn had studied abroad in the United Kingdom from elentary school.

Perhaps it was a reflex; Artie insisted that Sumr speak Chinese when eting Artie and Artie’s friends and family.

"Why... I, well, I can’t really explain clearly. At the ti, I didn’t think much about it; I just considered these important docunts and imdiately gathered them up and put them in the car. It was only this morning when I put the letters in the file folder and thought about how to handle it that I saw the na at the start. Although it might sound like an excuse, I truly didn’t intend to read it."

Leo didn’t know how to explain it anymore. Being stared at by eyes like a leopard’s, anyone would feel entirely uncomfortable.

Sumr Fairmont checked the docunts, and as Leo said, apart from the handwritten letters being placed back into the file folder, nothing else showed signs of having been touched.

She directly forgave Leo’s unintentional kindness, leaving a faint: "Thank you, please leave."

Then, she coolly turned around and returned to the closed Brunschwig Distillery.

Leaving Leo alone, confused in the old castle’s eerie breeze.

Thank you?

Why the sudden thank you?

Just a second ago, she seed ready to lash out, and the next second she’s thanking ?

What on earth is this girl’s mind like?

When Leo took the important scattered docunts, he didn’t feel he had done anything wrong.

The impression of the file folder containing Winter’s will was too profound for Leo.

That was the only reason, in an ergency, he unthinkingly grabbed the will scattered on the ground and took it away.

Thinking back on it later, his behavior was entirely inexplicable.

This was entirely out of character for a Nation’s Gentleman, nor was it Leo’s usual behavior pattern.

Winter’s will was ant for him, he should decide how to take and handle it, of course.

He had just "conveniently" taken Sumr Fairmont’s will, even with good intentions, it was still unexplainable.

That’s why, when Leo realized his improper behavior before he hurriedly went to the hospital to check on Sean Lowell’s injury, he imdiately sought to redy the situation.

The more Leo thought about it, the more sothing just felt off. The mont he confird Master Sean Lowell was okay, he intended to "restore the scene."

Leo had anticipated that upon arriving at Brunschwig Distillery, it would take so effort to return the will files.

He even turned it over and over in his mind, whether to restore the scene to look completely untouched or to just place the packed three files back.

Little did he expect that before he had the chance to restore anything, Sumr Fairmont caught him in the act.

He felt quite like a "thief" being caught red-handed by the owner.

Under such circumstances, Leo didn’t try to cover up, opting to explain first, then apologize.

Little did he expect that before the apology could escape his lips, the sharp-eyed Sumr Fairmont thanked him directly.

It was the first ti Leo felt particularly ungentlemanly, on top of particularly unwelco.

Because besides "thank you," Sumr Fairmont added "please leave."

The intention to not allow him inside was already very clearly expressed.

Leo had witnessed Sumr Fairmont throw Sean Lowell into a concussion as a "self-defense thod" within seconds.

From both a rational and sentintal standpoint, he really should leave imdiately.

Artie’s "Shaw" absolutely had nothing that needed his concern.

Yet Leo was inexplicably sowhat uneasy.

A kind of untraceable worry caused Leo, after returning to his car, to sit there motionlessly.
