"Otherwise?" Yan Huan stared at her brother, wondering if he had co up with so crazy idea again.

"Drink." Qin Jian placed a bottle of wine in front of Ji Chuan, "Co on. You’re happy today; you’re about to get married, right? Shouldn’t you show so sincerity?"

"Exactly! To be a man of the Yan Family, you must know how to drink." Yan Ye seized the opportunity to add fuel to the fire.

"Brother, you’re also a man of the Yan Family. Why haven’t I seen you being able to drink?" Yan Huan retorted against Yan Ye.

"Hey, I haven’t even gotten started, and you’re already feeling sorry?" Yan Ye laughed.

"No worries." Ji Chuan completely let loose today, "Celebrating my farewell to being single! Celebrating bringing ho a good wife. We’re not going ho until we’re drunk!"

.........

The dazzling sunlight hit Ji Chuan’s face, and when he woke up, it was already noon the next day.

He rolled over and sat up, rubbing his aching forehead.

The clock on the wall pointed to twelve o’clock; Ji Chuan stared at the ti for a long while, unable to snap out of it.

The aroma of food wafted from the kitchen, and it was then he realized his stomach was growling.

He got out of bed and headed straight to the kitchen, only to see Jason wearing an apron, awkwardly preparing steak.

"Why is it you? Where’s Yan Huan?" he asked, scratching his head.

Jason turned around, spotting a bleary-eyed Ji Chuan behind him, and said with disdain, "Did you wake up stupid? This is your house; how could Yan Huan be here?"

"How did I get back yesterday?" Ji Chuan’s brain was still in a fog.

He vaguely rembered being left at the Yan Family for dinner yesterday, drinking quite a bit by noon—he wasn’t completely drunk, but not completely sober either.

At night, there was another drinking session.

He seed to have competed with Qin Jian in drinking.

"Yan Huan and her brother brought you back," Jason looked at Ji Chuan with a face full of horror, "I’m starting to wonder if you’re marrying Yan Huan because you like her or her brother?"

"What do you an by that?" Ji Chuan asked.

"You held onto Yan Ye refusing to let him leave! You said a bunch of cheesy stuff that gave people goosebumps. Honestly, I’m starting to doubt your... orientation." Jason sneaked a glance at Ji Chuan and said.

"Get lost!" Ji Chuan swore at him, "I was completely out of my mind from drinking, probably mistook Yan Ye for Yan Huan."

Jason shrugged: "Whatever it is, you should be more aware than any of us."

"I can’t be bothered to argue with you. Hurry up with the cooking; I’m starving!" Ji Chuan turned and left the kitchen.

Jason brought out the finished steak and handed the knife and fork to Ji Chuan: "While you were dead to the world this morning, I got a call. It was from a woman. She said she had sothing urgent to talk to you about."

"A woman?" Ji Chuan was chewing the beef in large bites, speaking slightly indistinctly.

"Yes. Hmm..." Jason thought for a mont and said, "I think she was a woman nad Qiu Xinyi. Yes, she said she was Qiu Xinyi."

"How did she know the phone number here?" Ji Chuan frowned and said.

"Who’s Qiu Xinyi?" Jason said while eating, "Ji, your charm with won is truly impressive! You’re about to get married, and there’s still a woman looking for you!"

"Did she say what’s urgent?" Ji Chuan asked.

"She said you know. She’ll co to the office looking for you this afternoon." Jason relayed Qiu Xinyi’s words to Ji Chuan.
