Mada Ruan’s face was heavy. “We have kept the fact that sothing has happened to Ling Tianya from Yu Chenshi. Over the past couple of days, every ti she called, I’ve been using excuses to avoid her. She isn’t able to contact the Ling girl, so she must be concerned. Therefore, she’s co without giving any notice.” Mada Ruan sighed. “That’s to be expected. For a grandmother to be worried about her granddaughter is normal.”
Wang Yazhi nodded, her eyebrows furrowed. “But when can we do now? We must find a way to avoid her.”
“Let think...” Mada Ruan said, her eyebrows furrowed.
Yu Chenshi was currently happily chatting with the guard outside. “I haven’t been able to get hold of my granddaughter recently. I’ve missed Tiny Rice Ball too much and coincidentally my younger granddaughter has so ti off, so we’ve co together to visit. Conveniently, I also made so Qing balls for everyone in the mansion to try.” Yu Chengshi took out a couple of the Qing balls and placed them in the guard’s hands. “Try them. “You don’t have to be so polite. Staying here and guarding the house all day is hard work.”
Although Yu Chenshi didn’t say anything, her thoughts were just as Mada Ruan had speculated. Ling Tianya was an extrely filial granddaughter. She always answered her phone. Even if she were to miss a call or two, she would definitely return it.
However, over the past couple of days, Yu Chenshi had not received any calls from Ling Tianya. Every ti she called the mansion, it was Mada Ruan who answered.
