After she was done speaking, Zhang Ke once again stood up. “The food has gotten cold. I’ll get soone to heat it up for you.”
Zhang Ke walked a couple of steps with the plate before turning around and picking up the rope. “I won’t leave this here in case you were thinking about doing sothing foolish. If the leader finds out, he will want to have words with .”
Watching Zhang Ke take the rope away, there was a hint of despair in Ling Tianya’s eyes.
The door was once again locked by Zhang Ke from the outside. Ling Tianya knew that she had no way out. Even if she escaped, she didn’t know what kind of environnt she would find on the outside nor where she was.
This feeling of helplessness made Ling Tianya exhausted. She lay down. There was still so pain in at nape of her neck. When Zhang Ke had injected her with the anesthesia, she was not at all prepared.
This was the first ti she realized how strong Zhang Ke was. Her neck was probably bruised black and blue.
When Zhang Ke walked out of Ling Tianya’s room, a man stood at the end of the hallway waiting for her. She quickly walked forward and stood beside the man. “Leader,” she said quietly.
The man looked at the plate in Zhang Ke’s hand, his voice languid. “She’s refusing to eat?”
“We chatted for a while and the food went cold. I’m going to heat it up for her. Her stomach isn’t good and she gets a stomach ache if she eats cold things.”
The man narrowed his eyes and looked at Zhang Ke, his eyes flashed in a threatening manner. “Rember, you are only a chess piece that I placed by Ling Tianya. I am your master!”
Zhang Ke stood still and then answered with certainty. “That’s right. You are my master!”
Hearing Zhang Ke’s words, the man smiled sinisterly. “Go. Tell the kitchen to make so Xihu Sour Fish. She likes to eat that.”
“Yes, I’ll go right away.” Zhang Ke’s hands held the plate tightly and she quickly left.
The man took a couple of steps forward and stopped in front of Ling Tianya’s door.
