"Every single word that cos out of your mouth is a complete nightmare," Charles sneered, rolling his eyes at Augustine but unable to hide the faint curve tugging at the corner of his lips. "Just go to sleep already. You sound drunk." He added, voice softer now, as he deliberately kept his gaze locked on Augustine’s face—refusing to let his eyes wander lower, no matter how tempting.
"Umm...okay,"
With a sigh, Charles turned his back on Augustine and shut his eyes. "You can cuddle once your dick’s not standing like a damn tower," Charles muttered, earning a low chuckle from Augustine.
Augustine slid off the bed, stretching lazily. "Guess I’ll have to take matters into my own hands," he teased, striding toward the bathroom.
Charles scoffed, burying his face deeper into the pillow.
Charles took a mont to steady his breath, willing his heartbeat to slow but soon enough, he felt the mattress dip behind him as Augustine returned. "Problem solved," Augustine murmured lowly, his voice warm and firm.
Without hesitation, Augustine slid an arm around Charles’s waist, tugging him close until their bodies fit perfectly together.
He buried his face in the curve of Charles’s neck, his breath hot against the skin. "You sll too damn good," he whispered, voice heavy with exhaustion and sothing softer, almost needy.
Charles swallowed hard, feeling his pulse quicken all over again.
He sank his teeth into his lower lip, holding back any words that threatened to slip out.
A few seconds passed, and Charles felt Augustine’s body gradually soften, his breathing evening out as sleep finally claid him.
’Such a good boy,’ Charles mused silently, the corners of his lips twitching faintly before he
willed himself to sleep too.

The rich, intoxicating aroma of porridge soup and freshly blended fruit smoothie wafted into Augustine’s nostrils, stirring him awake.
He blinked several tis, his lashes fluttering as his eyes adjusted to the soft, raw light filtering through the window.
The morning air felt warm against Augustine’s skin, and the house was wrapped in an unusual, soothing silence.
Drawing a deep breath, Augustine shifted and sat upright on the bed, taking in the stillness around him.
Augustine wiped his sleepy eyes with the back of his hand, his mouth stretching wide open as he let out a tired yawn.
’I can sll sothing nice in the air,’ Augustine mused, his lips curling faintly as he rolled out of bed and padded toward the bathroom to freshen up.
He took his bath and stepped out, a white towel slung low around his waist.
Without wasting ti, Augustine grabbed a fresh pair of underwear—a white singlet and black boxer briefs.
Swiftly slipping into them, he exhaled deeply, the cool air brushing against his damp skin.
Next, Augustine pulled on a pair of black shorts that clung snugly and ended just above his thighs, then casually, he his way toward the sitting room, still toweling off the last traces of moisture.
"Charles!" Augustine called out as he descended the stairs, his voice echoing softly. "Pookie, where are you?" he questioned, scanning the quiet space.
"Hey, over here," Charles’s voice drifted from the kitchen, followed by the subtle wave of his hand, beckoning Augustine to co closer.
"Good morning, pookie," Augustine greeted, his smile soft as his eyes lazily road over Charles’s figure, still clad in the sa bathrobe from the night before. "Why are you up so early?" he asked, curiosity glinting in his gaze.
Charles glanced over his own shoulder, eting Augustine’s eyes. "Figured you probably didn’t eat much yesterday," he replied casually. "So I thought I’d make you breakfast before heading back to work."
"Head back? Wait—does that an you’ve already been to work?" Augustine asked, brows furrowing in disbelief.
Charles scoffed at the ridiculousness of the question, turning his attention to the gas stove, wiping it down ticulously. "Augustine, it’s already past noon," he replied dryly. "I’ve been to the company this morning. In about thirty minutes, I’ll be heading to the restaurant for my shift."
Augustine’s eyes widened in shock. "But... you’re still in your bathrobe and... I can’t believe I slept in this late," he murmured, his words tumbling out, one after the other, like he was still trying to process everything.
Charles turned on the faucet at the kitchen sink, letting the water run as he began washing the dishes. "Your entire bathroom is stocked with white bathrobes, so this is different from the one I use the previous night," Charles explained casually, glancing over his shoulder. "If you don’t believe about the ti, check the clock on your phone and see for yourself," he added with a smirk.
With that, he turned back and continued washing the dishes. "Also, sit down while I dish your al," Charles added firmly.
Augustine sighed, hurrying over to the kitchen island to grab Charles’s phone.
The screen lit up—12:08 PM.
’This is strange,’ Augustine muttered, frowning to himself.
He’d never been one to sleep in so late. ’I must’ve really worn myself out.’
Without another thought, he closed the distance between himself and Charles as he slide his arms around Charles’s waist from behind.
Pressing a soft kiss to the side of Charles’s neck, Augustine murmured against Charles skin, "Thank you for taking care of ." He purred seductively, making Charles to feel ticklish. "And I’m glad that you’re making out ti for ." He added.
The lips of Augustine lingered for a few seconds before he slowly began to pull away, his breath warm and slow.
Without warning, Augustine reached over and turned off the faucet.
Charles turned around with an arched brows as he stare at Augustine. "Why did you turn off the..."
Before Charles could even voice his confusion, Augustine effortlessly lifted Charles off the floor and placed him on the edge of the kitchen island.
Charles narrowed his eyes while crossing his arms. "Why are you acting like this, Augustine? I’ve got work in a few minutes," he grumbled, already suspecting the familiar glint in Augustine’s eyes ant trouble—probably the kind that left would him to beco breathless and running late.
’He probably wants to request about sothing sexual.’ Charles thought to himself.
Augustine sighed. "Well... Do you mind if I..."
