Luke almost could feel the bones of his vertebrae cracking when he got hit on the back again. The hamr guy was the first to react after killing two more overlords. He was determined enough to get hit by their direct attacks as long as he could take down those two, and he managed to do that... Still, the price he was paying was more than a little bit agonizying. Luke could feel the darkness take over his eyes many tis.

The next one to attack was the giant with his ax, but Luke used Checkpoint to escape because he probably wouldn’t resist another of those. He returned to his starting point with a fearso pain in his back and with his right leg completely smashed. It was healing, but it would take a few hours to be completely back in shape. While the enemies were looking at him, Luke also made sure to get the bodies of the overlords he just killed deep underground. Before, using their bodies was one way to win the fight, but now it was a matter of survival.

Luke began to heal himself constantly to speed the recovery speed of his bones and wounds. He didn’t even have recovered from the burns caused by the first strike of lightning, and now that. When he took a step backward, he saw his vision get blurry... he truly was on his limit.

Fortunately, the overlords were also quite hesitant... after losing five of their comrades against a single man who was at a level below them, they couldn’t help but be like that.

Unfortunately, their hesitation ended before Luke could recover completely or Necromancy could level up. The other two nodded. Luke wondered if that was so sort of trap, saying their plan out loud wouldn’t increase its chances of success... Besides, Luke could stay on guard to prevent that. The hamr guy held his weapon tightly, and then the sparks around it began to increase in power... that wasn’t good. With his current condition adding that much voltage to an attack that Luke barely could block completely on his top form... it certainly will stop him from moving for a couple of seconds.

"Note to self: don’t think of plans that rely on extra ti to wait, dumbass," Luke thought.

Luke won’t be able to dodge the next attack. He barely could move at all... blocking would only worsen his condition, so Luke didn’t have many options aside from using Weapon Augntation, but the enemies would be waiting for that... Luke considered the idea of making another reckless trade where he let the enemy hit his flesh son so that he could Aim for their bones. Still, considering that only one was going to charge this ti, it wouldn’t work...

Before Luke couldn’t find a proper way to deal with the whole situation, the hamr guy dashed toward him. His speed was phenonal, so Luke wouldn’t be able to do anything unexpected and get him off guard. Without any other choice, Luke prepared to block the attack. Still, at the sa ti, he began to fire several Poisonous Arrows toward in eyes. The hamr guy knew that Luke was plotting... trying to blind him or make him turn his eyes to the side and then grant him the chance to dodge at the last mont. However, that didn’t work in any way. The hamr guy kept his eyes open while he approached. His eyes began to hit and burn, but he didn’t stop them.

When he got close enough, he swung his hamr, and then Luke moved his claws to block it. In the mont of the shock, Luke felt like he had lost control over his whole body, and yet... He still could feel terrible pain. His body was completely paralyzed, but his mind still was working. While the hamr guy was pushing Luke down, he suddenly fell to the ground below him, losing its endurance, and turned into a mix of quicksand and a pool of mud.

The hamr guy panicked since he soon began to be sucked by the ground. The others dashed to save him and finish Luke, but in the end, they didn’t do it in ti... Luke bombarded the enemy with lightning bolts. While stuck on the ground, the hamr guy took the direct hit of those, and not only that, the ground that Luke made it erge began to ld due to the temperature of the lightning bolts and turned into magma. The hamr guy soon saw himself standing in the sa position as Luke. Paralyzed and suffering a lot of damage. Still, his friends soon were going to finish him off while Luke didn’t have anyone to rely on.

The giant man and the fish woman dashed to impale Luke. They enhanced their weapons with ice magic and with all the energy they could muster. However, when they were a few ters away from Luke, they suddenly stopped, and then they began to bleed from their mouths. The hamr guy had no idea what was going on... They had no reason to stop there, and it was impossible for Luke to have attacked them. Soon, he saw so earth pillars behind them, and then on the top of it, he saw the weapons of his fallen comrades, being held by giant hands of dirt, and they had been swung toward the exposed backs of those two....
