deia asked so people to move the weapons and ammunition from trucks to the temporary warehouses.
She didn’t let everyone touch those valuable things because it could get out of hand if soone stole the weapons without her knowing.
"I think we need to build a large armory and dical bay first," suggested deia. She ford a fra with her hands and pointed it to the farm. "We can build the dical bay near the farm, along with the greenhouse for planting dicinal herbs."
She couldn’t gather the dicinal herbs yet because they had to be driven in a massive truck.
Hence, she planned to gather the dicinal herbs and permafrost soil after she picked up Tian and Simon.
"Yes, I think it’s a good plan." Lucian looked around the Red Canyon. "And maybe build the armory in a place that’s a bit far from where people live."
If the weapons malfunctioned and exploded, at least they wouldn’t harm the people around the armory.
Lucian quickly sketched a rough plan on a piece of paper, adding a note in the blueprint to include a dical bay and an armory later.
"We can discuss this further once Jose and the technicians co here," Lucian said, rolling the paper and placing it in the cupboard.
After traveling from the Warstock base to the Red Canyon and handling nurous matters all day, deia was finally feeling exhausted.
She dropped her body onto the ground and stretched her hands. "I’ll double-check the weapons and ammunition tomorrow."
They arrived at Red Canyon before dawn, but now she could see the sun beginning to set.
"Why don’t you seem tired at all?" deia turned her head to Lucian. "Are you a machine or what?"
Lucian chuckled, then sat beside her. "I’m just stronger."
deia looked at him in silence, her mind preoccupied with her romance mission’s deadline that was getting closer each day.
They had slept together more than twice, so officially sharing a room wasn’t such a bad thing, right?
Perhaps she could just ask Lucian directly.
"Lucian," deia began, "Would you want to sleep with every day?"
Lucian, who was about to sip a glass of water, froze for a mont, his eyes widening slightly as he looked at deia. He set the glass down slowly and cleared his throat.
"Every day?" he repeated.
deia realized they might have different interpretations of the words ’sleeping together’ here, so she quickly tried to clarify before things went awry.
"I an... sleeping in the sa bed every day," deia said, her voice dropping as she felt embarrassed. "Like we’ve always done. I just thought ... maybe it would be easier for us to communicate if we slept in the sa bedroom."
She wasn’t sure, but she thought she saw a hint of disappointnt flicker across Lucian’s face.
"Oh." Lucian murmured, "I thought you were asking sothing else for a second."
deia’s face instantly reddened. "Well, I--"
Lucian reached over and patted her head gently. He cut her off, "I don’t mind at all. In fact, I think it’s a good idea." He continued, "I can move to your room. I don’t have too many belongings anyway."
Compared to deia, who had a lot of clothes and shoes that she gathered from the mall, Lucian only had a bag of clothes and a few dog toys.
’Is it okay? Shouldn’t I be the one moving into his room?’ asked deia to the system.
[The system doesn’t see it as a problem since neither of you has a real bedroom yet.]
They were still living in the temporary room, which was a tent, so the system decided that as long as they shared the sa space, it would count.
"Great!" deia stood up and said awkwardly, "I ... I’m going to tidy up my bedroom first before you can co."
As she walked toward her temporary room, she said to the system, "Are you satisfied now? Give my points."
[You are so impatient, host.]
[The system will give you points after you and Lucian spend a night together in your bedroom.]
"What’s the difference between giving it to now or later?"
[You have to pay first before you can eat your food.]
"Shouldn’t those words be more suitable for you?" deia said, "You have to give my points first before I let you enjoy my show."
The system was silent for a while before it said, [What about we do fifty-fifty? The system will give you the full points after you sleep with Lucian.]
deia clicked her tongue. "What’s so great about fifty-fifty?"
[The system will allow you to preview the upcoming Romance Quest for free. Additionally, you can earn double points if you complete the quest before it officially begins."]
What nonsense.
What kind of quest could she do at the sa ti as the previous one?
She wasn’t that sure about that, but if the system offered her sothing great, she would gladly accept it.
"Okay." She said, "Give the preview now."
[Ding! Ding! Half-Completed the Quest: Move To Lucian’s Bedroom (Grade-S)]
[Half Reward: 600 C-Point // 800 XP]
[Half Reward Gold Coins: 1,750]
deia hadn’t expected to earn so many points just for completing a romance quest. If she could get a Grade SSS quest, how many points could she earn?
Maybe she could level up faster that way.
However, Grade-SSS quests would be extrely challenging, and the system likely wouldn’t assign her one anyti soon.
[Sneak Preview of the Next Romance Quest: Having Sex with Lucian (Grade-SSS)]
deia froze, her face instantly turning as red as a ripe tomato.
"What?!" she exclaid out loud as she walked into her room. Her thoughts spiraled into chaos.
Grade-SSS?!
A fucking Grade-SSS suddenly ca out of nowhere!! And what the hell is wrong with the task?!
She and Lucian had barely gone beyond a light kiss and a hug.
Ridiculous. It was utter nonsense.
It wasn’t that deia didn’t want to take that step with Lucian. She wasn’t exactly inexperienced in such matters.
But ... how was she supposed to bring sothing like that up without completely dying of embarrassnt?
The system chid in with its usual nonchalant tone. [This quest has the potential to earn you a high number of points, Host!]
[Completing it before it officially begins will also grant you bonus points.]
If she wanted to get the double bonus, then it ant she only had one night to complete that ridiculous quest.
Whatever... she didn’t need to rush it anyway.
Besides, she wasn’t sure if Lucian wanted to do it with her too soon anyway.
"How long will the ti limit be for that ridiculous quest?" asked deia.
[For this type of quest, the system will give you one month, Host.]
deia sighed and massaged her temples. "One month? That’s just great."
She couldn’t imagine how to approach Lucian with such a topic.
They hadn’t even solidified their relationship beyond shared kisses and hugs, and now the system wanted her to cross the final line within thirty days?
It felt absurd.
[Don’t be so stressed about it, Host. Maybe you can do it in one night instead of waiting for thirty days.]
"Like hell I can do that."
[You underestimate the lust of a man, Host.]
She had never underestimated a man’s desire for lust. After centuries of living in hell, she knew better than anyone that lust was the simplest and most common sin to indulge in.
However, Lucian was an enigma.
He was unlike any man deia had encountered before. Despite their close proximity and growing relationship, he had never once shown any signs of lust toward her.
They once bathed together in the warm springs, but Lucian built a wall between them instead. When they slept together, he did nothing more than hug.
Sure, he would constantly hold her hand, give her soft kisses, and even pull her into warm hugs, but it never went beyond that.
It was as if he was restraining himself, or worse, he simply didn’t feel that way about her.
deia lowered her head, observing her own body. "Maybe my body is not that interesting to explore."
Perhaps ... he was a priest before the apocalypse happened.
No, that couldn’t be right.
deia would literally bang her head against the wall if that were the case.
A demon and a priest ... oh, what a nightmare.
"Can I just use my seduction skill on him?"
[Absolutely not. You know better than anyone else that seduction skill is temporary.]
deia took a deep breath. "Whatever. It’s not like I’m that desperate to have sex with him now."
She said it like that, but as the night ca, deia couldn’t help but feel a bit more conscious of her own feelings.
Unconsciously, she had put on old perfu and wore short pants, as if trying to seduce him while still trying to ignore that fact by burying herself under the blanket.
deia and Lucian used to wear full outfits when sleeping together, especially since they often traveled outside and had to stay prepared for any sudden situations.
Hence, tonight was the first ti they had worn their night clothes while lying side by side in bed.
"Am I making you uncomfortable?" Lucian noticed deia’s silence and stiffness. "I ... I don’t have to sleep here tonight if you’re still feeling that way."
