deia’s eyes fluttered open as she heard people chattered around her. Her body ached, and cold iron bit into her wrist. She sat up slowly, only to realize she was encased in a tal cage, the bars rusted but sturdy.
The air slled of oil and damp earth hit her nose, making her creased her forehead. She glanced around, looking at the grim surroundings. The Stormclad base lood within the Red Canyon, a fortress of steel and stone hidden beneath crimson cliffs.
The dust was flying everywhere, making deia cough several tis. The n surrounding her imdiately turned their heads to her, smiling widely as the sleeping beauty was finally awake.
"Good morning, princess." a man with a tal hand approached her. His clothes were covered in oil and dirt, so deia imdiately backed away and held her breath.
"Eddie is right! She is a good stuff!" He shouted, "Our leader must be happy to have a new beautiful wife."
deia spat in his face. "I would rather die than marry your leader." She spoke without fear. "Besides, I already have a potential husband."
The man before her, Chekov, rubbed his cheek. He smiled, but suddenly pulled the chain around deia’s neck until she hit the cage.
"Mind your place, woman," he said, "and if you’re talking about the man you were with, I’m sure Redbeard has killed him by now."
Instead of getting scared, she laughed as if she enjoyed it. "Then where is his body?"
Chekov released the chain. "You’ll see it when Redbeard returns."
deia rolled her eyes. "I doubt he’ll co back alive."
Chekov wanted to pull her again, but soone stopped him. "Stop it. Leader won’t like it if we hurt his future wife."
Chekov clicked his tongue, then said to deia, "You’re lucky you have a pretty face." He pointed to a slave wearing a mask. "Or you’ll end up like her."
The woman was wearing a sheer white dress, the kind of clothing that would make her feel humiliated. She handed out glasses of water to the n, but they couldn’t stop harassing her.
They thought she was an ugly thing, so they decided to cover her face and lust over her body.
They were disgusting.
The kind of people deia would torture once they got to Hell.
The world was ruined, but should their humanity also be gone? Even deia couldn’t distinguish them from the demons.
"Where is your leader?" deia deia shifted her glances to every part of the room. "If he wants to marry , at least let see his face."
"He’s busy, so you can’t see him right now. Besides, what’s the point? You’re not in the right place to reject or accept him." He reminded her, "You are in hell now, Hun. The only thing you can do is obey our order."
deia laughed so loudly that her voice echoed through the room. "Hell? Oh, boy ... bold of you to assu I’m afraid of hell."
Chekov wrinkled his forehead, thinking deia had lost her mind. He spoke to another man, "Is she really a good choice for our leader? She seems a bit ... ntal?"
"Who cares about her mind? As long as she is pretty and can get pregnant, our leader will like her.
deia wasn’t sure if their leader was really that busy. Judging from his disgusting subordinates, she was sure that the leader was even more disgusting than they were.
He loved beautiful won, so she assud that he would take the ti to see her right away.
Hence, she deduced that the reason so of his n were looking for many dicinal herbs in the Vermillion Forest was because the Stormclad leader was seriously ill.
That was why, he couldn’t et her now.
Speaking of the forest, deia wondered what would happen to Lucian after she left?
Would he be sad when he knew she was gone?
Furthermore, would he use the mystical compass, or just throw it away, thinking it was broken?
[You are gambling here, Host]
deia sighed. ’What do you want to do? Splash their faces with fresh water? Just look at my tied hands, dumbass!’
[Foul language detected! Penalty -20 C-points!]
If you can’t help , just shut up!
[How about we make a deal, host?]
deia raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the system. ’What kind of deal?’
[The system can let host use one of host’s demon skills for 15 minutes in exchange for 1,900 C-points and 10, 000 gold coins]
What an interesting offer!
But the price was pretty expensive.
Her C-points were only 1,960, so she would not be able to curse at all after accepting that offer.
However, she really wanted to accept the tempting offer.
’Quick question, will I be punished if I kill evil people?’
[No. Host will get rewards for eliminating evildoers instead!]
deia smiled. ’Okay, let’s make a deal.’
[Which skill would you like to use, host?]
deia thought for a mont. She looked at the degraded n, then smiled. ’Seduction.’
[Are you sure, host? You have many interesting skills! Taking souls, perhaps?]
’No, the result will not be that interesting.’ deia said, ’Process it, now.’
[Processing the deal ...]
[... processing completed]
[Ding! Ding! Host can use seduction skills for 15 minutes!]
[Skill effect: Increase chance of favorable outco in negotiation or conflict]
deia felt a strange power surge through her body. Her head gradually beca lighter and her confidence was higher than before.
She finally felt alive again!
The color of her eyes changed from sapphire to ruby. It was a noticeable change, but once humans were trapped in her power, they wouldn’t notice it.
She moved closer to the bars and tugged at Chekov’s shirt. "Hey, handso, can you talk to for a second?"
Her voice sounded fruity and sexy in his ears, and Chekov could not resist.
He knelt down in front of the cage, then moved his ears closer to hers. "What do you want?"
deia touched his chin with her slender fingers. "Since the beginning, I can’t stop thinking about you. You are so handso and strong. It really made sad when you said you’d give to your leader.
