Rebbeca who was seated in front of him felt like falling into the ice cold cellar as she beca restless on her seat.
Her breathing beca hard, shaking, anxious of everything thinking what he can do to solve the hurt she caused.
She reached out her shaky hands, wanting to reach out, hug him, hold him do anything other than feel this cold scary realization of she hurt him in a way she didn’t know how to solve.
But she didn’t reach out, she didn’t dare to touch him not knowing if she had a right anymore to comfort him as her hands were still hanging in the air thanking about what to do but not finding anything as this is all new to her.

After a few monts Rebbeca found a word, speaking to him in a shaky hesitant voice making sure not to say to hurt him more than she already is, treating him like a wild wounded animal.
No sudden mont, No loud noises nor she was reaching him out, her hand still hovering in hair as she did not know what to do with it while other hand was holding the cheque clenched tightly, still she sat there like a prisoner waiting for an execution.

Alex, to no one’s surprise, just lashed out as he just yelled angry at her looking at the cheque on her hand in utter disgust.

As for why he does not care what she said? Why should he? She just calling him things that are true unlike n in this world, he don’t give a fuck what else say about him, all he care about how their actions.
He can see Rebbeca made a misspoke, but she said the truth and well if fact and truth hurt anyone’s feelings then well it sounds like their problem.

Alex on the other hand just casually reached out and took the cheque away from her hand and swiftly put his na on it so she can’t take it back (Rember that little rule?) before putting it into his pocket looking very innocently trying to look out the tinted car windows.
Though tinted too much, it can’t stop him from looking outside, he clearly sees the city moving past as it’s waking up.
So wageslave salary guy was running around, obviously late for work, So street vendors were putting up their stalls, Shops were opening up, so were grand, so were small (Poor driver just going all around the city.).
