Don’t You Rember Your Sister?

In a room on the second floor, the man had just removed his tea-stained sweater and was searching for a suitable replacent in the wardrobe when he heard a noise at the door.

Assuming it was Han Xi, he didn’t turn around and casually asked, “Why are you up here? Want to help pick clothes?”

“Sure, I’ll help you choose.”

The unfamiliar woman’s voice echoed in the room, startling him.

He turned in surprise to find it was the elegant woman skilled in tea, imdiately frowning as he asked, “It’s you? How did you get up here? This isn’t the guest room.”

Qin Yun, smiling, closed the door and approached him, speaking confidently.

“I’m here to verify sothing.”

“What?”

“Sothing I need your cooperation to discover, Mr. Zhou.”

Qin Yun closed the distance, standing near the wardrobe, much closer than appropriate.

Zhou Chong felt uneasy, the proximity beyond normal social boundaries.

“What is it? Can’t we talk outside?”

Hadn’t he been clear enough?

As a guest, entering the host’s bedroom was sowhat inappropriate.

Qin Yun ignored this, having seized the chance to slip away and avoid the servants, determined to do what she ca for.

“It’ll be quick, Mr. Zhou, just a small favor.”

Her striking face, now pleading, was hard to refuse.

“Alright, what do you need?”

Zhou Chong nodded, signaling agreent, but added, “Could you step back a bit?”

Qin Yun shook her head, refusing.

“No.”

“Why?”

His confusion was evident, and her next action explained why.

“Because the answer I need is on you!”

“What are you doing!”

Qin Yun lifted his shirt, staring intently at his abdon!

“Why isn’t it there?”

She lost her composure, reaching to touch.

But he reacted swiftly.

He pushed her hand away, stepping aside and retreating, angrily scolding her.

“You’re being very rude!”

Qin Yun, shocked, stared at his now-covered abdon, muttering, “No, why isn’t it there?”

Fang Zhou had a red birthmark in that spot!

Qin Yun had planned to use old photos on her phone as evidence.

But now, the birthmark was gone!

Though it was a fleeting glance, she saw the skin was smooth, unmarked!

“How is this possible?”

Qin Yun couldn’t accept it, holding her head, slowly crouching.

This person had a 99% chance of being Fang Zhou.

But now, the 1% evidence was before her!

How could she accept it?

Her odd behavior caught his attention.

After initial embarrassnt and shock, seeing her actions, he grew curious.

“What’s wrong? Are you like that other person?”

Mistaking him for soone else?

Qin Yun slowly raised her head, her once-beautiful face now twisted, eyes bloodshot as if about to bleed.

Her intense emotions made her appear terrifying.

Her voice was low and hoarse, filled with despair and pain: “Yes, I always thought you were him...” Her lips trembled, wanting to say more but stopping.

His eyes widened in disbelief, shocked as he said, “I’m really not this Fang Zhou person. Why are you so persistent?”

“Because his sister is waiting for him to return.”

And we are too, Qin Yun added silently.

“Sister?”

Hearing his confusion, Qin Yun quickly retrieved her phone, showing him a photo of Fang Wenjing.

“This is your sister; don’t you rember?”

Qin Yun looked at him hopefully, wishing Fang Zhou would stop pretending—this was his beloved sister.

But under her gaze, he slowly shook his head.

“I don’t know her, no mory.”

His expression was sincere, not feigned.

Qin Yun stepped back in despair, her phone slipping from her fingers, trembling.

“How... can you not rember your sister?”

Was he abandoning even his sister to escape them?
