A Match Made in Heaven

Inside the luxurious and exquisite bridal shop, every wedding dress held a unique significance.

When worn, they were given a soul.

An artifact on display and one worn are entirely different experiences.

Like the grasshopper toy from childhood, once touched, you almost wished it would co to life.

When Qin Yun donned the intricately embroidered bridal gown, she felt her inner restlessness lt away, replaced by anticipation and joy.

Even if she wasn’t getting married, just trying on this dress felt like an honor.

However, others saw it differently.

“Miss Qin, your figure and temperant are perfect! This dress looks like it was made just for you!”

“Indeed, let style your hair and add this phoenix coronet; you’ll look stunning!”

“Wow, Miss Qin, if you entered the entertainnt industry, you’d be a superstar just with that face!”

The makeup artist and hairstylist showered Qin Yun with complints, like sugar-coated bullets.

Sitting in front of the mirror, Qin Yun closed her eyes as her eye makeup was applied.

Though she appeared calm, her heart was bursting with joy, and she couldn’t help but smile.

No girl doesn’t love beauty, and everyone enjoys complints.

Even though Qin Yun knew these complints were part of their job, she genuinely loved the bridal gown.

If only they could say how well she and Fang Zhou looked together.

Soon, Qin Yun’s wish ca true.

Fang Zhou’s fitting was quicker since n didn’t need makeup or elaborate hairstyling, just a simple touch-up.

With his good looks, even a ssy hairstyle couldn’t diminish his charm.

Both wore red wedding attire. The man stood tall, handso, and composed.

The woman was graceful, beautiful, and charming.

Together, they looked like a match made in heaven, exuding a unique charm that amazed everyone around them.

“I didn’t expect it to fit you so well.”

Qin Yun circled Fang Zhou, genuinely impressed.

Fang Zhou, trying on such formal attire for the first ti, felt a bit embarrassed.

He scratched his head and said softly, “The seamstresses did a great job.”

Qin Yun smiled gently, not arguing whether it was the clothes that made the person or vice versa.

She grabbed Fang Zhou’s arm and pulled him to the mirror, excitedly saying,

“Look, don’t we look great in these wedding outfits?”

Fang Zhou looked into the mirror.

The woman in the mirror had a slight smile, her face radiating happiness like warm spring sunshine.

Her eyes were bright and clear, exuding an indescribable charm, sparkling like precious gems.

Her skin was fair and smooth, with a subtle glow; her eyebrows were delicately arched, adding a touch of playfulness.

Her nose was straight, her lips lightly tinted, slightly pouting, inviting a kiss.

Qin Yun’s hair was styled to suit the phoenix coronet, with a gentle breeze enhancing her allure.

At that mont, she was like a blooming flower, vibrant and captivating.

Fang Zhou suddenly recalled a saying: “Happiness is the sa, but misery cos in many forms.”

Simultaneously, the tragic fate of Chu Xinran in his dream flashed before him like a warning bell.

In the dream, she too was filled with joy for the wedding, only to et a tragic end.

Fang Zhou felt a pang in his heart.

He placed his hand on his chest, feeling his heart pounding.

The vigorous heartbeat reminded him not to take any life lightly.

Taking this step with Qin Yun could lead to unhappiness.

The dream might repeat itself.

“Is my question that hard to answer?”

Qin Yun noticed Fang Zhou spacing out and felt uneasy.

It was like a kite she had firmly in her grasp suddenly becoming unstable, as if the string might snap at any mont.

Unable to bear it, she asked again.

Fang Zhou snapped back to reality, looked at Qin Yun seriously, and nodded, answering honestly.

“It does look great. I think that’s enough. Let’s take them off.”

When Qin Yun first suggested trying on the wedding outfits, Fang Zhou’s internal alarm went off.

She was testing his limits, possibly planning a wedding if he agreed, like Chu Xuan in his dream.

However, Qin Yun’s approach was more subtle, unlike Chu Xuan’s aggressive tactics.

So, Fang Zhou had to remind her to take the outfits off quickly and stop testing him.

If she kept pushing, she’d find he had no limits...

But Qin Yun wasn’t the type to obediently listen.

She was the kind of person who would go west if you told her to go east, never stopping until she achieved her goal.

In the mirror, the woman slowly smiled and whispered to the man,

“Why rush? We just put them on.”

“If you think they look good, let’s choose these for our wedding. We’ll have a traditional Chinese ceremony.”

“As for the venue, we can use the Qin family estate; it’s spacious...”

Fang Zhou frowned upon hearing this.

He imdiately pulled away from Qin Yun and told her seriously,

“Aren’t you thinking too far ahead?”

“Our agreent is for three months. Other things aren’t in my consideration for now.”

To prevent Qin Yun from repeatedly testing him, Fang Zhou decided to set a boundary.

He couldn’t let her cross this imaginary line, or the consequences would be dire.

Qin Yun was like a top hunter, patient and skilled.

Once she sensed her prey was vulnerable, she’d strike relentlessly until she achieved her goal.

“Enough, I get it.”

Qin Yun made a pause gesture, indicating she didn’t want to hear more refusals.

“No matter what, we’re together now, and that’s what matters.”

“As for the wedding, maybe in three months, you’ll willingly plan it. Don’t be so definitive.”

Even when upset, the elegant woman maintained her composure, not even furrowing her brows.

Seeing Fang Zhou’s displeasure, she gracefully shifted the topic to ease his mood.

“Alright, we’ll discuss this later. For now, I have a small request. Can you grant it?”
