Each Takes What They Need
After leaving the hospital with Qin Yun, Fang Zhou didn’t go ho or visit his sister. Instead, he took a taxi to his company.
The company was located in a high-rise building in the city’s second ring road, divided into many small streaming rooms for the studio mbers to conduct their daily live broadcasts.
There was also a large office area at the back for Fang Zhou, Li Siming, and Su Yang to work.
As soon as Fang Zhou entered the company, soone noticed him and excitedly ran over to greet him.
Everyone was shouting enthusiastically, “Brother Zhou! You’re finally back.”
“Brother Zhou, long ti no see. Why does it feel like you’ve been gone forever?”
“Brother Zhou, where did you sneak off to have fun without telling us?”
The boys’ enthusiasm was evident as they hooked their arms around his neck and patted his shoulders.
Fang Zhou had never put on airs in front of his employees, so everyone found him very approachable.
He didn’t mind these interactions; in fact, he enjoyed being close with everyone.
He laughed heartily, responding to each of them.
Then he went to each streaming booth, analyzing each person’s streaming data and situation, and offering suggestions.
By the ti he finished making his rounds, two hours had passed.
Li Siming and Su Yang, who arrived late, finally stood before Fang Zhou.
Li Siming playfully gave Fang Zhou a left hook, though not with much force.
Fang Zhou clutched his chest dramatically, accusing, “Wow, why are you so strong? Did you eat spinach?”
In the cartoons they watched as kids, Popeye would beco incredibly strong after eating spinach.
Li Siming laughed heartily, his face beaming with energy.
He rolled his eyes at Fang Zhou and said, “Don’t pretend with . I know you too well.”
“I didn’t even use any force. Besides, if I really hit you hard, you’d be pinned against the wall!”
“You didn’t even care about your sister’s illness and went off to have fun abroad for so long. Now you finally know to co back, huh?”
From Li Siming’s perspective, Fang Zhou hadn’t visited the company once since returning from Southeast Asia.
And that was true.
Moreover, he had the ti to publicly announce his relationship with Qin Yun, which made Li Siming even angrier.
Li Siming had thought Fang Zhou went abroad for Fang Wenjing’s illness.
But what happened? He ca back and announced his relationship.
Did he go with Qin Yun, and their relationship heated up in Southeast Asia, leading to the announcent?
Having a girlfriend for emotional support was great, but wasn’t his sister’s illness more important at such a critical ti?
As a good brother, Li Siming was both happy and worried for him.
He didn’t want to see Fang Zhou regret it later.
After all, life only happens once, but you can have many girlfriends.
So Li Siming spoke bluntly, directly asking.
“Did you go to have fun with Qin Yun?”
If that were the case, Li Siming would beat him up for Fang Wenjing.
What kind of lousy brother would do such a thing?
Su Yang, standing nearby, said sothing fair.
“He didn’t go to Southeast Asia for fun, right?
I rember when he ntioned it in the company group chat, he said it was sothing urgent.”
Facing their curious gazes, Fang Zhou sighed deeply and told them, “It’s a long story. Let’s go to the office and talk over tea.”
Their office had not only tea sets but also single-person lounge chairs and air conditioning.
They even had seasonal fruits and snacks updated daily, as part of a humane office setup.
After all, the three of them had worked hard for a long ti. Now that they were bosses, they had to treat themselves well.
“Let’s have so Junshan Silver Needle tea.”
Su Yang said as he prepared the tea, his skilled and smooth movents captivating everyone.
But Li Siming didn’t forget the serious matter. He looked at Fang Zhou seriously and asked in a low voice, “What’s going on? How did you and Qin Yun suddenly reconcile?”
If he rembered correctly, among all of Fang Zhou’s ex-girlfriends, the scariest one was this doctor, Qin Yun.
How did they suddenly announce their reconciliation on social dia?
Such a high-profile move was unlike Fang Zhou’s usual style.
Previously, Fang Zhou rarely announced his girlfriends on social dia because he knew his relationships wouldn’t last long, so he avoided the hassle of friends and family asking questions.
But now, not only did friends and family know, but the whole country did!
Fang Zhou leaned back on the sofa, speaking with a hint of resentnt, “I had no choice.”
“I went to Southeast Asia with Han Xi to find resources for my sister’s illness.
But we ca back empty-handed, and then Qin Yun provided reliable information...”
Fang Zhou didn’t finish, but Su Yang and Li Siming understood.
Su Yang patted Fang Zhou’s shoulder and placed the first cup of tea in front of him, speaking comfortingly, “A true man knows when to bend and when to stand tall. You’re a real man!”
Li Siming looked at Fang Zhou with sympathy, almost saying, “Brother, you’re so unlucky.”
Seeing this, Fang Zhou quickly raised his hand, making a stop gesture, and warned Li Siming, “Enough, don’t say anything. You don’t need to comfort either.
This was mutual. No one forced .
And I think it’s fine now. Each takes what they need.”
This is the adult world.
Su Yang chid in, “What’s the big deal? I think you’re not losing out at all. Such a beautiful woman, others can’t even get her.”
“Ah-choo.”
Li Siming choked on his tea.
He thought, “If you knew what kind of person Qin Yun is, you wouldn’t think that way.”
She’s a yandere that makes people shudder!
