Didn’t You Say You Had a Solution?
The atmosphere between Fang Zhou and his sister was wonderful, and for a mont, the entire hospital room was filled with joy.
“Have you felt unwell at all while I was away?”
Fang Zhou’s primary concern was still his sister’s health.
Fang Wenjing shook her head and answered truthfully, “No, I’ve been fine. I’ve been eating well too.”
“Oh, and so of your friends ca to visit , as well as the guys from your studio. They took turns keeping company, so I wasn’t bored at all!”
Fang Zhou nodded, indicating that he understood.
It was probably Li Siming who arranged it, worried that his sister might feel lonely in the hospital, so he had people co by to keep her company.
“Oh, right, Brother, look at this!”
Fang Wenjing suddenly rembered sothing and pulled out the protective talisman from under her hospital gown, showing it to Fang Zhou as if she were presenting a treasure.
“Look, Sister Sisi got this for , hehe.”
Fang Wenjing smiled so brightly that her eyes curved like crescent moons.
Hearing Qiao Sisi’s na, Qin Yun raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised.
That actress? She actually did sothing like this?
It seed that after Fang Wenjing’s condition beca known, everyone was trying to do sothing to help.
A thought flashed through Qin Yun’s mind—she rembered seeing Chu Xinran’s blood type compatibility report when she was in the neighboring departnt.
A colleague had complained to her, “This girl’s blood type doesn’t match Fang Wenjing’s at all, so why did she insist on doing the test twice?”
Why did she do it twice?
Qin Yun guessed that Chu Xinran’s overbearing mother had likely demanded the first test, and then Chu Xinran, not trusting the result, had secretly done it again herself.
This girl could be quite foolish at tis, but when she was smart, she was really smart.
She must have suspected that her mother would tamper with the compatibility report, so she took matters into her own hands.
It was clear that Chu Xinran really wanted her kidney to be used for Fang Wenjing.
But unfortunately, she wasn’t a match, and in a way, it was fortunate that she wasn’t.
Otherwise, after the surgery, Fang Zhou and his sister would owe Chu Xinran a huge debt of gratitude.
Given Fang Zhou’s personality, he might feel obligated to repay her with his life.
“Why are you so happy? How co you never got this excited when I got you talismans before?”
Fang Wenjing wasn’t exactly lacking in gifts.
But the fact that soone like Qiao Sisi, who only believed in herself and not in these superstitions, was willing to spend ti and effort to get a talisman for his sister surprised Fang Zhou.
“Hehe, it’s different. Sister Sisi is a beauty!”
In front of Qin Yun, Fang Wenjing was too embarrassed to say that the talisman reminded her of their grandmother, so she ca up with a different reason.
Fang Zhou chuckled and reached out to ruffle his sister’s hair, telling her to rest well.
They had been talking for nearly ten minutes, and Qin Yun hadn’t left, so she probably had sothing to discuss with him.
“Take a nap, and when you wake up, you’ll see this super handso guy right here.”
“Ugh, narcissist and braggart! Even if you’re really handso, you don’t have to keep emphasizing it! It’s so annoying!”
Fang Wenjing’s words were sharp, but her actions were honest—she had already closed her eyes and started to rest.
Qin Yun followed Fang Zhou out of the hospital room and into the fire escape.
This was a high floor, so there were usually few people around, making it a good place to talk.
“You’re not my sister’s attending physician, so why were you using a stethoscope to check her heart rate?”
Fang Zhou turned to look at the woman in the white coat. Her curly hair had grown much longer, almost reaching her waist.
The stethoscope around her neck made her look more professional and reliable.
Qin Yun smiled lightly at his question, finding it a bit amusing.
“You might not know this, but every doctor, during their residency, has to rotate through different departnts.”
“And during our undergraduate years, we read stacks of books. We’re well-versed in basic dical knowledge.”
As she spoke, Qin Yun lifted the stethoscope around her neck, her eyes filled with amusent.
“So using this to check her body is no problem at all.”
“She almost threw up earlier, so I stepped in.”
Fang Zhou’s pupils contracted, and he grabbed Qin Yun’s arm, his voice deepening. “What did you say? She almost threw up again?”
Why didn’t his sister tell him about this?
Was she afraid of worrying him? Or did she think that being in the hospital was already hard enough and didn’t want to make him feel worse?
Fang Zhou felt as if his heart were being torn apart, wishing he could take on his sister’s suffering.
Qin Yun nodded gently and described the situation to him.
“It happened while she was lying down and talking. She suddenly felt nauseous.”
“It’s probably because the dication she’s been taking recently is too strong, and her body can’t handle it.”
Fang Zhou’s brows furrowed deeply, his forehead forming a “川” shape as he asked in confusion, “If that’s the case, why not use milder dication?”
“Milder dication wouldn’t be able to counteract the rapid deterioration of her kidneys.”
Qin Yun’s response was straightforward, leaving no room for Fang Zhou to harbor any illusions.
Sure enough, Fang Zhou’s eyes flickered, and his expression darkened as he replied in a low voice, “I see.”
Fang Zhou’s heart ached for his sister’s adverse reaction to the dication, but he was powerless to do anything about it. In the end, all he could do was sigh.
Suddenly, he looked up at Qin Yun with a hint of excitent.
“That’s right, didn’t you say you had a solution?”
If Qin Yun had resources, then his sister could be saved!
At this mont, Fang Zhou hoped more than ever that Qin Yun wasn’t deceiving him.
And the woman he was pinning his hopes on slowly nodded under his eager gaze.
“I do have a solution. I found a kidney match for your sister in the national resource database.”
“Really?”
Fang Zhou was overjoyed, so excited that he almost jumped up.
This was amazing!
Indeed, heaven rewards those who persevere!
The overwhelming joy left Fang Zhou feeling a bit dizzy, and he looked at Qin Yun with much more kindness.
“So when can the surgery be done?”
This was Fang Zhou’s most pressing concern.
If it was like the previous match found by the attending physician, it would be dangerous for his sister.
They needed to be sure that the transplant could be done within six months.
