William’s face flushed. "How long have you been standing there? I thought you were inside..."

Sanya chuckled, moving past him to open her door. "Long enough to catch your little rehearsal. Co in."

With a soft smile, she entered her bedroom, and he followed, closing the door behind him.

"How are you feeling?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Instead of answering, Sanya closed the space between them, reaching up and wrapping her arms around his neck. "I’m feeling better... thanks to you," she whispered, her lips brushing against his as she spoke. She felt his body tense slightly as she pressed close, but she smiled, leaning in to capture his lips.

The kiss was tentative at first, soft and warm, but she soon deepened it, hoping to show him how she felt. It was her first kiss, and she knew she probably wasn’t very skilled, but the thought made her pull back, a bit self-conscious.

William’s face softened, but his gaze remained intense as he looked at her. Just as she opened her mouth to say sothing, he gently but firmly pulled her close, pressing his lips to hers in a kiss that held a depth she hadn’t expected.

The warmth of the kiss grew, and she felt his hand slide to the back of her neck, anchoring her to him as he deepened it, conveying the emotions he had been holding back.

For a mont, she lted into him, surprised and taken by the tenderness mixed with intensity. When he finally pulled back slightly, their eyes t, and she could see in his expression a mixture of vulnerability and sincerity.

This man had saved her life. She’d watched him take every hit while shielding her, refusing to let those goons harm her even when they seed intent on it. Rembering the bruises and blows he endured, she pulled back, concern written across her face.

"Aren’t you hurt? Did you go to the hospital and get checked?" she asked, searching his face for any sign of pain.

William smiled, trying to ease her worry. "I’m fine," he assured her. "I did a full check-up and even a CT scan. No major fractures, just so bruises and a bit of muscle soreness." He leaned back, crossing his arms with a hint of pride. "Nothing I can’t handle. Those hits were nothing compared to my military training. Trust , I’ve been through worse."

She studied him, still slightly concerned, but his confidence reassured her. He pulled her close, leaning into her with a playful glint in his eyes. "You could always kiss again... any pain left will disappear," he murmured, his lips brushing hers in a tantalizing tease.

In response, she bit his lip gently, catching him by surprise. "But... I’m not very good at it, I think," she confessed, her voice soft and a little shy.

William chuckled, pressing his forehead to hers. "Trust , you’re perfect at it," he whispered, wrapping his arms around her. "Besides, we have plenty of ti for practice."

With that, he once again claid her lips, this ti with a hunger that made Sanya cling to him as if her life depended on it. Her knees wobbled, and she knew she’d fall if not for his steady arms around her waist. She loved how it felt to be kissed by him, so much that she never wanted him to stop.

When he gently pulled back, she felt a twinge of disappointnt. "I’d better stop," William murmured, his breath warm against her cheek. "Or I might end up doing more than kissing you. You’ve been through so much today." He wrapped her in a tender hug, and Sanya buried her face against his chest, feeling safe in his embrace.

"Will you stay with tonight?" she whispered softly.

William’s breath caught, and he looked down at her, a little stunned. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice laced with both eagerness and hesitation.

She tilted her head, giving him a playful pout. "You don’t want to?"

"Of course, I want to! I’d love to," he said, his cheeks reddening. "I’m just worried I might not be able to keep my hands to myself." He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "But I’ll behave if that’s what you want."

She smiled, taking his confession as a complint. "I just want to cuddle," she whispered.

William nodded, his expression softening as he t her gaze. "As long as you don’t mind kicking out if I don’t behave," he teased.

Sanya chuckled, knowing she had no plans of kicking him out. This man was hers, and after today, she was more certain than ever that she didn’t want to let him go. She traced his jawline lightly with her fingers and said, "By the way, you still haven’t told what you were rehearsing earlier."

William’s face flushed, but he took a deep breath. "Today, I realized how much you really an to , Sanya. It’s not just a crush or physical attraction. I love you. I know it’s fast, and I can hardly believe it myself, but... I just wanted you to know. My heart beats for you, and that’s the truth."

Sanya’s heart skipped a beat. She looked up at him, her eyes shining as she whispered, "Then don’t hold back. I’m yours."

William’s eyes widened, his excitent unmistakable. "So... does this an we’re officially together? That we could get married... whenever?" he asked, his voice almost tripping over itself in eagerness. He blinked at her rapidly, as if he could hardly believe what he was hearing.

Sanya chuckled softly, her heart warming at his enthusiasm, and nodded. "Yes, William," she said with a smile. She didn’t see the point in dragging things out any longer. Today’s incident had shown her so much. How he was the first person she thought of when she sensed danger, not just because he was reliable but because he made her feel safe.

And today, William had proven the depth of his feelings. He’d protected her without hesitation, risking his own life just to keep her safe. That, to her, was more than enough.

William’s face radiated joy as he hugged her, his hold secure and full of promise. "No backing out now! You’re all mine, Sanya," he murmured, a playful seriousness in his tone. "We’ll register our marriage as early as tomorrow, and then we can take our ti planning the grand wedding. But as far as I’m concerned, you’re already my wife."

Sanya smiled into his embrace, feeling her heart swell with certainty. Life was too short, and after everything that had happened, she wasn’t willing to hold back any longer. Being with William felt right as if this was exactly where she was ant to be.
