"It seems we can't communicate properly." Adam turned to look at her, "In the end, your goal is to make apologize, right?"

"Indeed! Those who dare mock must be punished for their insolence!" Priscilla declared haughtily, "Apologize now, while I still show rcy. Otherwise, even I cannot predict what might happen next."

Though it sounded like empty threats, Adam knew she spoke the truth.

Yet if he apologized now, wouldn't all his calculated provocations be wasted?

No — this was perfect. Like a hunter who had finally lured his prey into position, it was ti to spring the trap.

"You want to apologize, but I don't want to... How about this — let's play a ga."

"A ga?"

"Yes, a ga." eting Priscilla's puzzled gaze, he explained, "If you want my apology, you must first make submit. And to make submit, you'll have to defeat in a ga!"

"Hahaha, interesting! You are truly an interesting person!" Few had ever dared to speak to her this way, let alone provoke her so boldly.

Her excitent sparked, Priscilla regarded with keen interest this man who kept bringing her such novel thrills.

"Very well, I'll accept! Tell , what ga?"

"Sothing simple — let's decide with a coin flip." Adam, seeing his goal achieved, smiled and took out a coin from his pocket, pointing at heads and tails, "I'll do the flipping. If it's heads, Lady Priscilla wins. If it's tails, I win. Is that acceptable?"

"Whatever." Priscilla lazily waved her folding fan, appearing unconcerned.

With her "Extraordinary Luck", she had reason to be confident.

"Of course, winning just once wouldn't be satisfying for either of us, and any apology wouldn't be sincere. So... how about we use these apples as stakes?"

"Apples?" She looked curiously in the direction Adam was pointing, at the paper bag Natsuki was holding.

"There are 10 apples in this bag. We'll play 10 tis, and for each correct guess, you can take one apple. Lady Priscilla's victory condition is to win ALL the apples in the bag. Is that acceptable?"

"Hey, these rules aren't fair. Not only are you doing the flipping, but I need to win 10 tis to make you apologize, while you only need to win once to avoid it?"

Though proud and self-centered, Priscilla wasn't a mindless fool. She imdiately spotted how disadvantageous this ga was for her.

"Eh — didn't you say the world revolves around you? Winning 10 tis in a row should be nothing. Could it be that Lady Priscilla is afraid?" His exaggerated acting once again played out before the proud young lady.

Though annoyed, she didn't refuse, instead proposing additional conditions.

"Trying to provoke ... interesting! Fine, I'll accept! But if I win, you won't just apologize — you'll kneel down and lick my feet!"

The mont she said that, Adam started imagining so "unnecessary" scenes in his mind, becoming slightly angry.

'And you'll like my— sorry, let's get back on track.'

Shaking off those thoughts, he quickly continued.

"Fine by . Whether it's kneeling to lick your feet or massaging your legs, if you win, I'll accept my loss and do it! However, if I happen to win, I want Lady Priscilla to agree to one condition."

"What condition?"

"I can't say now, but I promise it won't be anything troubleso for you, and if you find it difficult, you can refuse."

"I can refuse?"

"Of course! If you refuse, that will count as fulfilling the condition. What do you think?"

"It's a deal."

"It's a deal!"

They clapped hands three tis, sealing their agreent like an unbreakable contract.

Natsuki wanted to intervene, but seeing Adam's subtle head shake, he realized there must be a sure path to victory. So he remained silent, content to play his role as the apple-holding prop.

"Then, let the ga begin!"

"Bring it on!"

Choosing a coin flip to decide the outco was Adam's calculated strategy.

They could have used rock-paper-scissors, but that would've been pointless — he could simply use his abilities to force a win by changing his move after seeing Priscilla's choice.

Instead, he opted for a coin flip, a ga that seemingly depended purely on luck.

Though he had no intention of letting Priscilla win easily, the first flip would serve as a test.

"First ti." He tossed the coin high, letting it fall freely.

Clink!

He hadn't planned any tricks for this first flip, but the〘Divine Protection of the Sun〙proved unexpectedly powerful!

Before the coin could land, it flipped to heads, then dropped straight down and stuck to the floor without a single bounce.

WTF?! This is stone, not sand! Why isn't it bouncing?!

Adam had deliberately chosen to stand on solid stone. Yet sohow, the coin didn't bounce at all — clearly the work of the Divine Protection.

He sighed deeply and, without hesitation, took an apple from the bag and handed it to her.

A bet is a bet.

"My, have I already won once?" Priscilla's mocking tone attempted to rattle him.

But Adam remained unfazed, responding dryly.

"This is just the first ti, nine more to go." With that, he flipped the coin again.

Priscilla said disdainfully, "Hmph, just futile struggling. I am the center of the world, the world revolves around — how could I possibly lose?"

Sure enough, the second flip proved her right. The coin on the ground still showed heads!

"Interesting." Adam licked his lips.

He had secretly used a technique — it should have landed tails up, yet it still ended up heads!

He took out another apple and placed it in the young lady's hands.

"Hehe, that's the second one." Priscilla continued to apply pressure.

Third ti!

Fourth ti!

Fifth ti!

...

Ninth ti!

Nine consecutive tis, Adam lost them all!

Despite escalating from simple sleight of hand to outright magical cheating in his desperate attempts for just one victory, he lost completely. All his struggles were in vain.

However! A different light suddenly shone in his eyes!

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9... So there are 9 apples already?" Priscilla deliberately counted the apples in her arms, making sure he understood he had only one chance left.

Though suprely confident in herself, she wouldn't let her guard down. She continued applying pressure, trying to make him squirm.

"My, you only have one chance left."

"Indeed."

"Then let's quickly end this aningless ga. I can't wait to see you kneel down, apologize, massage my legs, and lick my feet."

"..." Without answering, he tossed the coin high in the air.

The sacred gold coin soared upward, then fell.
