Despite talking about going on a mission, Adam chose the simplest quest available.
He deliberately positioned himself at the back of the squad, watching for any approaching monsters.
"Carter-senpai, are you sure about this? Perhaps we should head back." Kazuma said, breaking formation to walk beside him, "You've only just returned and you're already joining us on quests. If you're tired, it's perfectly fine to rest."
"Don't worry, Kazuma-kun. I can't have the squad wasting ti on my account." Adam replied, shaking his head at the kind offer, "Besides, since I'm the one who suggested this quest, how could I not participate?"
"I see. If you insist." Kazuma dropped the subject, recognizing the futility of persuasion.
The squad leader was admirable as always, leading by example. Unlike the other troublemakers, he was truly soone they could depend on.
"By the way, Kazuma-kun."
"What is it, Carter-senpai?"
"I learned an interesting new Magic from another world that would suit you perfectly. Would you like to see it later?"
"Ohhh!" Kazuma's eyes lit up with excitent.
He had long hoped to learn Skills from other worlds.
However, the Skills Adam had taught him previously were too costly, leaving him — a low-level 「Adventurer」 — without sufficient Skill Points to learn them.
His determination never wavered! He diligently saved Skill Points, patiently awaiting the perfect chance!
And finally, that mont was here!
"Yes! Please teach !"
"Alright, look forward to it."
"Yes! I'm counting on you, Carter-senpai!" Kazuma bowed deeply with respect.

[Beginner's Village Plains]
The {Giant Toad Subjugation} Quest location was near Axel. After an hour's walk, they reached their destination.
The group watched Giant Toads hopping across the plains as they discussed their strategy.
"What should we do? Should I be the bait?" Darkness raised her new shield, her face flushed with excitent, "Let be the bait! I've been yearning for that slimy, wet feeling for so long! Please, let do it!"
"Use ! Use !" gumin raised her staff, brimming with magical power, "My Explosion Magic is desperate to be unleashed! Let show everyone the most magnificent Explosion Magic! Just gather them together and leave the rest to !"
"It's over." Kazuma's face was filled with despair.
His earlier argunt with Aqua had made him forget two crucial things: Darkness's constant desire for a toad sli bath and gumin's daily need to cast〘Explosion Magic〙.
Damn, he let his guard down!
"No, Darkness and gumin, you two step back. This ti, Kazuma and I will handle it."
Just as he was at a loss, his savior, the squad leader, stepped forward.
Adam addressed the two eager won, "Sorry, but the main goal of this quest is to teach Kazuma-kun a new Skill. The rest of the squad can take a break."
"Yeah, that's right!" Kazuma quickly chid in, "Carter-senpai is going to teach a new Skill, so you all step back."
"Ehhh?!"
"Mmm..."
Upon hearing the rejection, gumin was visibly unhappy, while Darkness was excited — though the reason for her excitent remained mysterious.
The two walked forward.
"Kazuma-kun, are you ready?"
"Oh oh oh, I'm ready!" Kazuma swallowed hard, his expression serious but nervous.
"Relax, this isn't an attack Skill, but a very practical support skill." Adam placed his hand on his back and called out.
◈ Shamak ◈
A thick black mist burst forth from his body, instantly enveloping a 20-ter radius around them.
This was Natsuki's specialty - the basic Yin Magic〘Shamak〙!
"Eh?!"
"Ehhh?!" x3
Not only Kazuma but also Aqua and the others watching from the side were stunned.
"Carter-senpai, this is..." Everything in Kazuma's vision had turned pitch black.
If Adam hadn't been touching his shoulder, he would have thought he was trapped in a lightless prison.
◈ El Fura ◈
A spell incantation rang out beside his ear as violent wind dispersed the surrounding black mist, revealing the two figures.
"How's this Skill?" Adam asked the contemplative Kazuma, "It should suit you well, right?"
"Yeah... indeed."
As soone who relied on tactics and Magic combinations in battle, Kazuma instantly saw countless possibilities for this skill.
"Well, let's see how many Skill Points it needs." Adam was also curious how many points it would cost to learn〘Shamak〙without having the 'Gate'.
"Right, if I don't have enough Skill Points, I won't be able to learn it." Kazuma pulled out his adventurer card and found a new Skill in the Learnable Skills section.
Learnable Skills:〘Shamak〙⫸ 5 Skill Points
"5 points? That's a bit expensive." Though Kazuma said this, he confird learning it without hesitation.
He knew this skill would suit him perfectly.
— For ambushes.
"Well then, go try it out, Kazuma-kun." Adam gave him a gentle push toward the five Giant Toads.
"Oh!" Kazuma strode forward with burning enthusiasm.
Without this Skill, he wouldn't have dared face five Giant Toads alone. But now, he was fearless!
This single Skill had transford him completely!
◈ Shamak ◈
Kazuma shouted.
Just as before, thick black smoke erupted from his body, engulfing the five Giant Toads.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!
Adam's keen ears caught the sound of five heavy bodies hitting the ground in quick succession. The Giant Toads had fallen.
He felt no concern for Kazuma's safety. After all, the ability to detect enemies while blinding them was practically divine!
It was the perfect match for him!
With this formidable support skill, Kazuma's value to the squad increased even further — though he was already second-in-command.
◈ El Fura ◈
Just as before, Adam dispersed the black mist with his wind magic.
The scene revealed was exactly as he'd expected — Kazuma had vanquished all five Giant Toads.
"OHHHH!!!" Kazuma roared like a warrior finally breaking free from oppression, releasing all his pent-up frustrations.
"Alright, stupid Kazuma, let's head back!" called out a bored Aqua from the sidelines.
Seeing the quest's completion, the self-proclaid goddess announced:
"Today is Adam's first day back, let's hurry back, eat and drink the best stuff, and throw him a welco party!"
"I bet you just want to drink that ridiculously expensive sparkling wine, you idiot goddess!" Kazuma snapped, irritated at having his mont spoiled.
But after calling out her deception, he let it go and walked back, containing his excitent.
"But Aqua has a point, we should throw Carter-senpai a welco party."
Thanks to Adam's teaching, he had finally learned a Magic unknown to other adventurers. He now stood above all other adventurers with the 「Adventurer」 class!
"Alright! Let's go back and feast!"
"Oh!" x5

Magic consists of six elents: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Yin, and Yang. Fire controls temperature, Water handles healing, Wind affects external forces, and Earth influences internal forces. Each elent has its basic spell: Goa (fire), Shiha (water), Fura (wind), Dona (earth), Shamak (yin), and Jiwald (yang). Huma works with both fire and water.
Spells beco stronger by adding prefixes El, Ul, or Al. For example: Goa → El Goa → Ul Goa → Al Goa.
