Hearing the doctor say her daughter has amnesia, Raina Lowell’s heart ached.

Unwilling to accept such a cruel reality, she reached out to hold her daughter again.

"Aurora, I’m your mom. Co to mom, okay? Mom will take you to see your brother."

Aurora seed unable to understand, shaking her head and tightly clinging to Adrian Grant’s neck.

Stubbornly saying, "Only want Dad, don’t want to be apart from Dad."

"But he’s not your dad."

Raina beca a bit anxious, her voice unintentionally rising.

"Listen to Mom, okay? Mom will take you away."

However, the more anxious she beca, the more frightened the child was, and she began to cry again.

In any case, she was unwilling to leave Adrian Grant.

Adrian, still holding her, felt so sympathy and looked at Raina, advising:

"The doctor said she forgot so things and might not rember you. Why so impulsive? Do you just want to take them and run away with Alaric Jennings?"

This woman can be ruthless, even neglecting her own child.

Her heart seems made of stone, cold and hard.

Raina realized she might be scaring her daughter, cald down imdiately, and gently coaxed her daughter again.

But no matter how she persuaded, Aurora wouldn’t listen and refused to leave Adrian Grant.

Every ti Raina said he wasn’t her dad, Aurora cried harder.

Afraid she might get alkalosis again, Raina dared not say more and looked at Adrian Grant, asking:

"Can you accompany her for ?"

Adrian hadn’t expected this child to suddenly recognize him as her dad and cling to him desperately.

This small, soft little creature, he really couldn’t bear to see her cry sadly anymore.

But he couldn’t accompany her forever.

Especially since she’s not his daughter.

Moreover, he was about to divorce Raina Lowell.

After a brief silence, Adrian spoke:

"You wait here. It’ll be fine once she falls asleep."

Raina thought so too.

As long as her daughter fell asleep, Adrian could put her down, so she sat nearby.

Thinking of sothing, she asked, "Are you really going to be with Isabelle Everett?"

She wouldn’t care if this man were with any other woman.

But not Isabelle Everett.

That woman is insidious and vicious, nearly killing her and her daughter, then killing grandpa.

Grandpa wouldn’t want Adrian Grant to be with such an evil woman.

She must prevent Isabelle Everett from succeeding.

Adrian looked at her, answering irrelevantly, "Would you care?"

Hadn’t she always said to make way for Isabelle Everett?

In her heart, she seed always thinking that once he was with Isabelle Everett, she’d retreat entirely.

Alright, he’d fulfill her wish.

It’s the weekend now; on Monday, he’ll go and divorce her.

"Adrian Grant, you can be with any woman, but not Isabelle Everett. You absolutely mustn’t be with her. Do you hear?"

Raina fervently persuaded.

But didn’t directly answer his words.

Adrian Grant didn’t hear the response he wanted, his tone chilled, "Who I’m with isn’t up to you to command."

He looked towards the door and instructed Caleb Landon, "Have the lawyer draft the divorce agreent and send it to her for signing."

Turning back to Raina, Adrian told her:

"Monday we’ll divorce. As for who I marry, you have no right to interfere, and everything you owe The Grant Family, you must repay."

Once divorced, he wouldn’t be polite to her anymore.

What ought to be taken will be taken.

He couldn’t just let her take the children and happily live with another man.

Raina didn’t care about the divorce.

She knew they would divorce.

But if Isabelle Everett married Adrian Grant after the divorce, how could grandpa rest in peace?

Stubbornly staring at Adrian, she once again reminded him, "I told you, Isabelle Everett personally admitted to she pulled grandpa’s oxygen tube. Adrian Grant, you can’t marry her."

"Enough."

Adrian didn’t listen at all, his attitude turning colder.

"Do you think Isabelle is like you? Raina Lowell, you’re not even worth one strand of her hair. No matter how you slander her, you can’t stop from marrying her."

If not for keeping her out of jail, would he agree to marry Isabelle Everett?

Committing wrongs, yet not knowing remorse.

Involved with so many n unclearly, gave birth to soone else’s child, and now she has the nerve to stop him from marrying soone else.

Adrian thought, if it wasn’t for her young age and having two children to care for, he wouldn’t bother saving her.

Damned woman, still unaware of her own good fortune.

Raina hesitated to speak further.

Really?

In his heart, she wasn’t even worth one strand of Isabelle Everett’s hair?

Fine, she won’t advise anymore.

She’ll find evidence of Isabelle Everett’s cris against her and grandpa herself.

Let him not regret it then.

"Dad, is she really my mom?"

At this mont, Aurora suddenly left Adrian Grant’s embrace, looked at Raina, and weakly asked.

Raina hurriedly replied, "Aurora, I’m your mom. You really don’t rember mom?"

Seeing her daughter’s frail appearance, yet unwilling to let her approach, she felt heartache and didn’t know what to do.

Adrian watched as the child looked at him eagerly but was unwilling to look at Raina.

He sighed and patiently said:

"Yes, she’s your mom."

"Then why aren’t dad and mom loving at all? Other kids’ parents are very loving."

The little girl pouted, her red and swollen eyes sparkling with innocence.

However, her words stunned the adults.

They couldn’t understand why this child suddenly beca so understanding, asking questions beyond her age.

Raina quickly told her daughter, "Aurora, he’s not your dad."

When Aurora heard this, she frowned and was about to cry again.

Suddenly she rushed to hug Adrian Grant’s neck again, her voice still tinged with tears.

"I don’t want to. I know you’re dad. Dad, don’t leave , okay?"

Adrian Grant didn’t know what was wrong with him.

This clearly wasn’t his child, but when the child cried, he couldn’t help but soften.

Finally, he could only gently reassure:

"Okay, okay, Dad won’t leave you."

He glanced coldly at Raina, saying, "If you want to accompany her, keep your mouth shut."

Raina had no choice but to keep quiet and turn to prepare so food for her daughter.

Returning with the food later, her daughter was already asleep.

Adrian gently laid her on the bed and covered her with a blanket, before turning to leave, eting Raina.

He left a remark, "I’m returning the child to you. Rember, Monday at ten in the morning, we’ll et at the civil affairs bureau."

As he said this, Adrian clearly sensed a pain in his chest.

Even though he didn’t want to separate.

He didn’t want this woman to leave him.

But if they didn’t divorce, how could he protect Raina from imprisonnt?

After all, she admitted to the cri herself.

Unable to face her anymore, Adrian walked past her and left.

Watching Adrian’s back.

Raina felt an inexplicable chill in her heart.
