Adrian Grant sobered up imdiately and rushed back to the old estate with Elias Sheridan.

But they were still too late.

Crying could already be heard from the villa.

After Adrian and Elias got out of the car, they almost ran to Grandpa Grant’s room, where quite a few people were already gathered.

Mrs. Everett and Isabelle Everett were there as well.

Old Master Grant’s daughters and sons-in-law had all arrived.

Adrian pushed through the crowd and looked at his grandfather lying motionless on the bed. He roughly pulled Elias over.

"Quick, see what’s wrong with Grandpa."

Elias barely glanced, gently checking the old man’s pulse, and then gave the verdict.

"Adrian, Grandpa Grant, he’s gone."

He could hardly believe it, just a couple of days ago, he seed to be getting better, so how did it suddenly...

From beside him, the sounds of won crying rose and fell.

Adrian felt as if he had been struck by lightning, unable to accept this cruel reality, he fell to his knees by the bed.

Grandpa had passed away.

Was it because of discovering Raina Lowell’s unwed childbirth, sothing she kept hidden from everyone?

It must be because of this.

He knelt there, with his head bowed, a single tear rolled down from his eyes.

Mrs. Grant couldn’t accept that the old man just left like that and cried as she looked at Elias.

"Didn’t you say just a few days ago that my father was getting better and could hold on for a couple more years? How did it suddenly..."

Elias didn’t believe he had misdiagnosed.

He carefully checked the old man again, then faced everyone and said in a deep voice:

"Grandpa Grant died from a heavy heart, he wanted to go, no dicine could help."

The crowd seed to understand.

Soone said through tears:

"It’s definitely because of Raina’s affair, that wench, she had a child with soone else yet had the nerve to marry Adrian without anyone knowing."

"Dad loved her so much, he must not have been able to accept what she did and got angered to death."

Soone agreed, "That’s right, it’s Raina Lowell who angered Dad to death."

"Adrian, you should quickly divorce her, take back the shares Grandpa gave her, and make sure she stays as far away as possible, never stepping into the Grant Family’s door again for the rest of her life."

Adrian knelt there, fists clenched, forehead veins popping with anger and hatred.

A mont ago at the club, he was still hoping for Raina to co back.

At this mont, he wished she were dead.

Why didn’t she die, but his grandfather did.

All these years, Grandpa’s love for her was in vain.

If she hadn’t confessed about the child to Grandpa, how could he have died so quickly.

Adrian also hated himself, why did he bring Raina to the old estate.

Why did he let her anger Grandpa to death.

He knelt at the old man’s bedside, repenting, blaming himself, overwheld with grief.

In the crowd, no one noticed Isabelle Everett shedding tears on the surface, but actually her eyes were filled with pride and mockery.

Now everyone blad Raina Lowell for the old man’s death.

No one knew, just a mont ago, she entered the room deliberately provoking the old man.

And when the old man was in a rage, she pulled off his oxygen tube.

This caused the old man’s breath to not be pulled up, leading to his death by suffocation.

This kind of death, to Elias Sheridan who was a doctor, was undoubtedly a result of a heavy heart.

With the old man dead, no one could stop her from marrying Adrian Grant anymore.

Isabelle looked at Adrian kneeling by the bed, knowing that at this mont Adrian must be blaming Raina too.

Yet she still crouched beside the man, deliberately speaking for Raina.

"Adrian, don’t bla Raina, she probably didn’t want to see this tragedy happen either."

"Why don’t you call and have Raina co back? At least let her see Grandpa Grant off for the last ti."

Before Adrian could reply, his aunts angrily said:

"She, Raina Lowell, has no chance of stepping into the Grant Family door again."

"Isabelle, don’t speak for that woman, she doesn’t deserve to attend my father’s funeral."

"Isabelle, take Adrian away first."

Mrs. Grant knew her son was not feeling well, now they needed to prepare for the old man’s funeral, her son kneeling here was truly an eyesore.

Isabelle nodded in response, raising her hand to support Adrian.

Adrian didn’t want to leave, pushing Isabelle away, he leaned on the bedside, tightly holding the old man’s hand, crying out of control and saying sorry.

He knew that Grandpa’s death was because of Raina’s anger.

If he had divorced her earlier and let her go, Grandpa might not have died.

He was such a fool, always wanting to keep that woman by his side, causing Grandpa’s death to be so undeserved.

Adrian also hated himself, kneeling at the old man’s bedside, full of remorse and self-bla.

The Grant Family couldn’t do anything about him and could only let him be.

In the Forest Castle, it was already deep into the night.

Raina Lowell woke up from a dream, drenched in sweat.

She was panicked and at a loss, with a restless heart as if sothing was slamming into it, causing a suffocating pain.

She thought she was worried about her son, so she got out of bed to look for him.

She went to Damien Sinclair’s room.

Seeing her son sleeping with Damien Sinclair, everything seed normal.

She quietly turned and left.

In the corridor, Raina leaned against the wall, trying hard to follow the rhythm of her breathing.

Repeating again and again, it’s okay, it’s okay.

Aurora will be okay, and Grandpa will be okay too.

Once she placates Damien Sinclair and he agrees to let her leave, she’ll imdiately take Evelyn back to The Grant Family to visit Grandpa.

After all, before leaving, Grandpa told her he also wanted to see what Evelyn looked like.

Raina Lowell tried to adjust her emotions and went back to her room to continue sleeping.

However, she couldn’t fall asleep that night no matter what.

Early in the morning, before dawn, Raina Lowell went downstairs to the kitchen to get busy.

The butler nervously advised from the side, "Young Madam, please don’t do this, if the Young Master finds out, he’ll kill us."

Their Young Master is like The King of Hell.

Who dares to let the person he pampers do the work? Isn’t that pushing us, the servants, into the fire?

Raina Lowell said, "It’s okay, I’ll just say I wanted to cook for him, he won’t bla you guys."

Just she and Evelyn, powerless, fleeing was not an option.

Knowing that saying soft words would make that lunatic more approachable, she had no choice but to be attentive.

The butler, realizing Miss Lowell ant well, stopped persuading.

When Damien Sinclair descended the stairs holding little Evelyn, he saw Raina Lowell in a white dress, setting dishes in the dining room.

His face instantly darkened, ready to explode when the butler hurriedly explained:

"Young Master, Young Madam loves you dearly. She said you’ve never tasted her cooking, so she got up early to make breakfast for you and the young master."

Damien Sinclair was sowhat suspicious, his icy gaze piercing the butler.

"You’re not being lazy and making her do it, are you?"

The butler nodded timidly, trembling as he spoke.

"Young Master, how could we dare? Knowing Young Madam is your precious, we hardly have ti to pamper her, how could we dare..."

At this mont, Raina Lowell smiled and shouted to them from the dining room:

"Damien Sinclair, bring Evelyn over to eat, I’ve prepared it personally for you."

Upon hearing these words, the originally gloomy and cold face of Damien Sinclair suddenly beca gentle.

A faint smile played on his lips as he walked towards Raina Lowell with little Evelyn in his arms.

The three sat around the table, a warm scene that truly looked like a family of three.

Raina Lowell attentively helped Damien Sinclair with food, telling him:

"I made it all with my own hands, tell if you like it. If you do, I’ll always make it for you."

Damien Sinclair, in a red silk shirt, perfectly complented his pale skin, appearing noble and elegant as if glowing.

His handso features were rendered even more sculpted under the bright lights, giving him the appearance of a prince from an ancient lineage, deadly and enchanting.

Yet he lowered his lofty stature, reaching across the table with long arms, holding Raina Lowell’s hand sweetly and cruelly.

"Raina, I know you love and want to give, but cooking is the work of lower class people. You’re not allowed to do it again."

His words fell, instantly ordering the butler with a darkened face:

"Fire the chef, hire a new batch. If anyone dares let my Raina do chores again, I’ll break his hands."

The butler and the waiting servants nearby gasped.

The dissatisfied chef wanted to speak up, but the butler imdiately signaled the bodyguards to take them away.

Not allowing them to disturb the Young Master’s al.

Soon, the dining room was quiet again.

Damien Sinclair chuckled lightly, picking up chopsticks to serve Raina Lowell food, with suggestive words.

"You have this skill, you’d better cooperate with in bed."

Every ti he wanted it, Raina always had various excuses to refuse.

Repeated refusals would make him very impatient.

Sooner or later, he would have to use force.

Raina Lowell was on edge.

Watching Damien Sinclair’s cruelty to the servants, saying such things in front of the child.

She knew even giving in wouldn’t help.

Is she destined to be trapped by him for a lifeti?

"Daddy."

Little Evelyn noticed the embarrassnt on his mom’s face and laughed to break the stiff atmosphere.

"Daddy, I heard you’re going to take mom and to Marovia?"

Damien Sinclair looked at him, raising his hand to hold his small head, responding with an eyebrow raised:

"Yes, there is our world."

Unlike here, where everything was restricted, and even guns couldn’t be used.

If it were Marovia, her husband would have been killed by him countless tis.

Little Evelyn was overjoyed, clapping his hands:

"Yay, I want to go to Marovia, but what about sister if we leave? What if she cos back and can’t find us?"

He suddenly furrowed his small face, pretending to cry.

"Daddy, could you leave mom here to wait for sister, and I’ll go with you, when sister cos back, you can bring mom and sister along, okay?"

Little Evelyn knew mom didn’t want to go.

Nor did she want to be with this violent dad.

To help mom escape, he had to take the risk.

Once in Marovia, he would find a way to return to mom.

Raina Lowell was sowhat astonished.

Never imagined her son, at such a young age, understood her intentions.

Fearing her son and Damien Sinclair would go to Marovia and never co back, she quickly said:

"No, Damien Sinclair, my grandfather wants to see Evelyn, I have to take Evelyn back to et my grandfather."

Damien Sinclair’s lips curled into a sinister smile, not taking their words to heart at all.

He gave the child so food, "Eat, you and mom, both have to go."
