Chapter 931: Chapter 930: Yes, My Na is Hao Jian

“I can’t decide whether to call you bold or just plain foolish,” Bai Herong sneered coldly as he glared at Hao Jian. His eyes briefly flicked to the lackeys lying among shattered tables and chairs, groaning in pain, before he let out a disdainful snort and barked, “What are you whining about?! It’s just a beating, and you’re all acting like won! Get up this instant!”

“Y-yes, yes!”

The n, startled by Bai Herong’s roar, promptly shut their mouths, forcing themselves to endure the excruciating pain as they struggled to rise. They staggered to the sofa, sitting in silence, not daring to utter another word.

Even so, the cold sweat dripping from their foreheads betrayed the agony they felt. Their trembling legs couldn’t support them, their fury-filled eyes glaring at Hao Jian. Yet, when they turned their gaze to Bai Herong, sparks of hope lit up their faces.

Others in the room might not know Bai Herong’s identity, but they did. As a mber of the Bai Family, his status far surpassed anyone present.

“Say whatever you want; it makes no difference to . Soon, you’ll end up just like them…”

Hao Jian, indifferent to Bai Herong’s taunts, simply shrugged, his gaze calm as he briefly glanced at Bai Herong. Chuckling softly, he said, “I hope you don’t scream as loudly as those wasteful fools did. I don’t like noise—it gets on my nerves.”

When Hao Jian had sent those n flying earlier, he deliberately struck their pain points. It amplified their sensation of pain tenfold, coursing through their entire bodies—a tornt that would last for thirty full minutes.

In other words, for the next half-hour, those n would endure pain tenfold worse than the original injury.

This was Hao Jian’s idea of a fitting punishnt for their lewd behavior. After all, their offense—harassing Shu Ya—was more than enough for Hao Jian to sentence them to death.

He didn’t end their lives only because he’d recently been practicing self-restraint and temperance. His murderous intent had diminished substantially.

More importantly, they were nobodies, n of low status. Killing them brought no sense of accomplishnt, making it a waste of effort.

If those n could hear Hao Jian’s thoughts, they’d probably faint right there—without needing any further physical tornt. After all, weren’t they heirs to billions? And yet, in Hao Jian’s eyes, they were nothing more than worthless trash?!

“Clack…”

“Scrr…”

As Hao Jian suddenly took a small step forward, the n he’d beaten instinctively shuffled backward on the sofa, making scuffling noises. Even this involuntary movent made Bai Herong’s face darken sharply, his eyes glowing with ominous light.

“Idiots!”

He growled in fury, glaring at Hao Jian. “Punk, don’t get too cocky!”

“Am I being cocky?”

Hao Jian spread his hands helplessly in response, his expression filled with feigned innocence. He’d never exhibited any arrogance, so why did everyone keep accusing him of it?

“I won’t lower myself to your level!” Bai Herong, montarily caught off-guard by Hao Jian’s reply, quickly dismissed the matter. Snorting coldly, he pointed at Hao Jian and demanded, “Kneel and beg for rcy right now, and maybe—just maybe—I’ll give you a chance. Otherwise, you’re as good as dead.”

“If you die, that pretty little lady of yours will be left for soone else to enjoy!” Bai Herong gleefully gloated, completely oblivious to Hao Jian’s true identity.

Hao Jian turned to look at Shu Ya upon hearing Bai Herong’s words. His gaze lingered on her montarily, his eyes widening slightly, as if to say, “See what happens when you drag

into your ss? It’s always people with a scrap of status playing the self-important fool.”

Shu Ya, leisurely sipping her coffee, t Hao Jian’s gaze and giggled behind her hand…

“Say what nonsense you need to say—in one go, please. Stop wasting my ti.”

Hao Jian withdrew his gaze from Shu Ya and waved dismissively at Bai Herong, stifling a yawn with an annoyed expression.

Damn it—this punk dares to disregard ?!

Seeing Hao Jian’s attitude, Bai Herong’s rage erupted like a volcano. His fury surged, pounding against his chest as though trying to tear its way out. His bloodshot eyes locked onto Hao Jian, and he scread, “You wretched nobody! My status as Young Master Bai of the Bai Family isn’t sothing you can afford to provoke!”

“Have you heard of Huaxia’s Bai Family?!”

“The Bai Family?!”

As Bai Herong uttered those words, the faces of several people in the room changed drastically, their expressions morphing into sheer terror. The Bai Family—a mighty family in Huaxia—wasn’t to be provoked. Few even had the privilege of eting soone from the Bai Family, and yet here, in this insignificant café, a confrontation was unfolding.

And, it involved this young man!

“Huaxia has plenty of Bai Families—which one are you talking about?”

Hao Jian casually scratched his ear, shaking his head indifferently. Even though he knew full well which Bai Family Bai Herong referred to, Hao Jian intentionally pretended ignorance to mock him.

“The Bai Family from the Capital City!”

With those words, Hao Jian’s gaze turned icy cold. Fixing Bai Herong with a faint stare, he asked, “What relation is Bai Yang to you?”

“He’s my cousin!”

With a self-important lift of his chin, Bai Herong radiated arrogance as a mber—and one of the young masters—of the Bai Family. That air of superiority was sothing only his family bestowed upon him.

“Oh, so you’re Bai Yang’s cousin…”

If Bai Herong was Bai Yang’s cousin, that just ant Hao Jian had all the more reason to teach him a lesson…

“Wretched nobody! Since you know my Bai Family, you’d better kneel down this instant. Perhaps, if I’m feeling generous, I might let you go…”

Having realized Hao Jian was aware of his family—and his cousin Bai Yang—as well, Bai Herong’s deanor beca even more arrogant as he taunted Hao Jian.

Not far off, Shu Ya couldn’t help but smile faintly upon hearing that Bai Herong was part of the Bai Family. Her alluring eyes turned to Hao Jian, sparkling playfully, her lips curling into a crescent moon-shaped grin.

Regardless of who the opponent was, Hao Jian had never been one to cower…

“If you’re from the Bai Family, then you should know the na Hao Jian.”

Bai Herong froze at Hao Jian’s words. His expression, previously brimming with conceit, instantly drained of color, his complexion paled as beads of cold sweat appeared on his brow. That dreaded na—Hao Jian—was a na whispered throughout the Bai Family, a tale of humiliation, caution, and fear. To prevent further disgrace, the Bai Family Head had forbidden all discussion of Hao Jian’s na.

Though the topic had been suppressed, the chilling mories attached to it lingered deep in the minds of every Bai Family mber. Bai Herong could never have anticipated that this na would resurface here today…

“Could it be that you’re…”

The mont Bai Herong heard the na, his confident voice began faltering, each word erging hesitantly and accompanied by visible tremors.

“I am Hao Jian.”

Seeing Bai Herong’s dramatic transformation, Hao Jian confird his identity. His gaze rested on Bai Herong for a mont before he spoke calmly.

“Thud!”

No sooner had those words reached Bai Herong’s ears that he dropped to his knees abruptly. His face morphed into an expression of pure terror as he stared at Hao Jian and stamred, “Young Master Hao… Young Master Hao…”

The Bai Family Head had explicitly ordered that no one antagonize Hao Jian—all due to the catastrophic consequences that would follow. These repercussions were sothing the Bai Family itself couldn’t afford to bear.

And now, Bai Herong had done just that. Not only had he provoked Hao Jian, but he’d also directed degrading remarks at Hao Jian’s woman…

No wonder that woman had looked so familiar…

Overwheld by fear, Bai Herong suddenly recalled why Shu Ya had looked sowhat familiar earlier.

The boss of Shu Ya Group, Shu Ya—soone frequently seen on major television networks. And now, he realized her deeper identity: Hao Jian’s woman!

Anyone who understood Hao Jian’s na knew that his favorite thing wasn’t preserving his life—it was protecting his woman!

“Now that you know my identity, dealing with you will be simpler…” Hao Jian muttered casually before advancing toward Bai Herong, whose body had grown stiff with fear.

“Next ti, keep your eyes open. Don’t ss with soone who’s beyond your league!”

As he spoke, Hao Jian kicked Bai Herong squarely. This ti, no one dared say a word, nor did anyone step forward.

For those ignorant of Hao Jian’s significance, the rapid turn of events was startling enough to silence them. Seeing the others remain quiet, they followed suit, keeping their mouths shut.

For those who knew the weight of Hao Jian’s na, their fear surpassed even Bai Herong’s. The horror in their eyes intensified.

This group was limited to Bai Herong’s lackeys alone. Of everyone present, only they were privy to stories of Hao Jian and his influence.

Now watching their leader—none other than their “Brother Rong”—being beaten rcilessly by Hao Jian, none of them dared interrupt. Because they simply couldn’t.

This was Hao Jian, after all!
