Chapter 922: Chapter 921: I Leave It to You!

Who… Who exactly is this person?!

Isn’t he just so kid in his twenties? Why… why would even Brother Chen act like this toward him? And what are these Golden Needles? How could the pain disappear the mont they were stuck into my hand!

At this mont, Feng Jin couldn’t comprehend why his own boss would behave so humbly toward Hao Jian, like a dog devoid of dignity in his eyes, even showing a servility he would never display to anyone else!

Feng Jin couldn’t figure out the identity of this young man. Could he be the son of so high-ranking official?

But now, he didn’t dare utter a single word. With Li Yuchen present, and considering Li Yuchen’s attitude toward Hao Jian, he was afraid of saying the wrong thing and losing his other hand—or worse, even losing his life.

He trusted that his boss, Brother Chen, was capable of such actions. After all, there had been precedence—once, a subordinate who committed a grave mistake was executed on the spot when seeking forgiveness from Li Yuchen.

“Thank you, Young Master Hao! It’s all my fault for failing to properly educate my subordinates, which caused these two ladies undue grievance.” Though Hao Jian spoke these words, Li Yuchen would not let the matter go so easily. He continued bowing and scraping, then directed his attention toward Wen Lan and Shu Ya, the two won beside Hao Jian.

Looking at the two won, Li Yuchen’s eyes flashed with admiration, though it quickly faded away. He was smart enough to know which won he could touch and which ones he couldn’t.

“Hao Jian, it’s just a problem with his subordinate, not his fault. Besides, that guy already lost a hand—let’s leave it at that…”

The two won’s cheeks flushed slightly when hearing Li Yuchen address them as “Madams.” Sharing a glance, Shu Ya took the lead in speaking up, effectively letting Li Yuchen off the hook.

Since the two won had spoken, Hao Jian, of course, respected their judgnt. He nodded and said, “Since you two said so, let it be…”

Upon hearing this, Li Yuchen’s face lit up with delight. He promptly nodded and bowed, saying, “I will devote myself wholeheartedly to serving you, Young Master Hao!”

“No need. As long as you handle things well under Spice Ginger, I won’t force you into anything else…” Hao Jian simply waved his hand at Li Yuchen’s pledge. It was only because Hao Jian saw potential in him that he let him off lightly. Otherwise, he would’ve dealt with him long ago.

After speaking, Hao Jian slowly turned his head toward the distant Sun Hongyuan, who seed unsure of what to do. The corners of Hao Jian’s lips curled slightly as he shook his head and said, “There’s still another person—I almost forgot. Let

take care of this guy first…”

Li Yuchen, hearing Hao Jian’s remark, rembered Sun Hongyuan was still there. He imdiately turned his gaze to follow Hao Jian’s, locking onto Sun Hongyuan’s figure. Coldly laughing, he then bent slightly toward Hao Jian and respectfully said, “Young Master Hao, let

handle this matter. There’s no need for you to dirty your hands. After all, this guy’s status is incomparable to yours—it’s not worth your effort. Please allow

to take care of it!”

“Fine, I’ll leave it to you.”

Whether he handled it himself or handed it to Li Yuchen, it made no difference to Hao Jian. Passing it to Li Yuchen spared him so effort and allowed him to observe Li Yuchen’s way of handling things.

Li Yuchen nodded, then stepped forward, his expression slowly twisting into a sinister grin as he approached Sun Hongyuan step by step.

Looking at him, Li Yuchen grinned and said, “Kid, you’ve had truly bad luck today—stealing sothing from Young Master Hao of all people? Do you even know the aning of death?”

Sun Hongyuan was well-acquainted with Li Yuchen’s reputation; in his mind, Li Yuchen represented pure power. He couldn’t believe that soone he viewed as a symbol of authority would act so subservient, like a dog, toward another young man who seed unremarkable to him.

Now, seeing this figure walking toward him with an intimidating expression, Sun Hongyuan’s body began trembling uncontrollably. This man was soone on par with his own boss!

“You… What are you doing?!”

Hands trembling, Sun Hongyuan pointed at the approaching Li Yuchen but instinctively stepped backward, his lips quivering as he stamred.

“Why so much nonsense?! If you dare to act, you should dare to take responsibility!”

Taking a large step forward, Li Yuchen ignored Sun Hongyuan’s protests entirely. He grabbed Sun Hongyuan’s outstretched finger and twisted it with a sudden motion, breaking the bone.

“Ah!”

The searing pain spread through Sun Hongyuan’s entire body as he let out a blood-curdling scream. Beads of sweat dripped from his forehead, but he had no ti to collect himself before a massive fist slamd into his face.

“Bang, bang, bang!”

Punch after punch landed on Sun Hongyuan’s body. Li Yuchen’s expression remained unchanged. Having trained for years, dealing with soone as weak as Sun Hongyuan felt like child’s play. Each blow targeted Sun Hongyuan’s abdon—the best place to amplify pain…

“Enough! Enough!”

The excruciating pain reverberated throughout his body, and Sun Hongyuan, now pale-lipped, struggled to rise after being thrown against a wall. Fighting through the agony, he locked eyes with Li Yuchen, shouting furiously, “Damn it, Li Yuchen! Don’t think you can beat

up just because you’re the boss of this area!”

“Let

tell you sothing; I have a boss now! My boss, Si Youyuan, is every bit your equal. You dare hit ? You’re disrespecting him! Do you really want to start a turf war over so kid?!”

Fueled by his own words, Sun Hongyuan grew increasingly bold and exhilarated, as though speaking his mind had lightened so of the pain brought on by the beating.

Imagine that—he was insulting Li Yuchen! Opportunities like this were rare for soone in his position. And judging by Li Yuchen’s hesitance, maybe—just maybe—he’d succeeded in intimidating him…

Seeing Li Yuchen pause in his actions, Sun Hongyuan felt emboldened. “Ha! Scared, aren’t you? I’ll have my boss here in no ti! Then we’ll see how pissed off he gets at you for beating !”

“Moreover, if you don’t want to risk a conflict with my boss, you’d better hand over those three behind you! Let’s see if you dare!”

The more he spoke, the more arrogant Sun Hongyuan beca. Li Yuchen’s expression shifted from ferocity to indifference, then finally to disdain. At last, he cut Sun Hongyuan off with a cold laugh, saying, “Go ahead, call that guy here! Let’s see if he dares talk like that in front of !”

Si Youyuan, the local boss just one street over, had been pushing boundaries recently, trying to claim territory. This conflict had been a major source of frustration for Li Yuchen.

Now, with Young Master Hao present, Li Yuchen felt confident handling Si Youyuan. Let’s see if that man dared act tough in front of Hao Jian…

With this thought in mind, Li Yuchen crossed his arms and scoffed at Sun Hongyuan. “Go on, call your boss. Don’t waste ti with all the chatter!”

“You…”

Hearing these words, Sun Hongyuan’s face twisted in anger. He reached out instinctively, only to be jolted by the pain of his broken finger, which he had montarily forgotten…

Shaking his hand violently, he snorted in frustration, “Fine… fine! Hmph!”

With that, Sun Hongyuan quickly pulled out his phone and called his boss. He described the situation and his location in detail before respectfully hanging up.

Now, all his hopes were pinned on Si Youyuan. If anything went wrong, no one could help him. Thus, when speaking to Si Youyuan, his tone was as deferential as it could possibly be.

Si Youyuan, upon hearing that one of his newer subordinates was being bullied on Li Yuchen’s turf, beca furious. Gathering over fifty n, he led them on a charge toward the security room near the marketplace.

Seeing such a spectacle, pedestrians quickly cleared the way, allowing Si Youyuan’s group to approach unhindered. Within minutes, they’d reached the security room—a swift journey given the proximity of their territory and the central marketplace location.

“They’re here! Just you wait!”

Hearing the commotion outside, Sun Hongyuan’s face lit up with joy. Glaring fiercely at Hao Jian, he huffed in annoyance—it was all because of this guy that things had escalated!

“Ha ha!”

Watching Sun Hongyuan open the door and head outside, Li Yuchen burst into laughter, then turned to check on the unconscious Feng Jin. Seeing Feng Jin’s steady breathing, he withdrew his gaze and bowed slightly toward Hao Jian. “Young Master Hao, forgive my presumptuousness…”

“It’s fine. Since I left this matter to you, it’s yours to solve. But honestly—your leadership isn’t up to par. To let soone like that stand and curse you to your face… you’ve still got a lot to learn.” Hao Jian waved his hand dismissively, his deanor unaffected. Having dealt with powerful families in the Capital City for years, his perspective had long outgrown such trivial matters.

“You mock , Young Master Hao…”

Li Yuchen could only chuckle awkwardly at Hao Jian’s remark, knowing Si Youyuan’s thods were on par with his own…
