Capítulo 1750: Chapter 1951: A Chance Encounter with Wang Shuangshuang

“Ah…” Ma Jingxuan’s wretched cries echoed all around.

Hao Jian, however, just tossed the dagger to the ground and then turned away, not looking back. Ma Jingxuan clutched his hand, writhing in pain on the ground. At this mont, he’d forgotten everything; the agony had torn through every nerve cell, leaving him unable to utter a single word.

No one knew how much ti passed before he finally regained consciousness from the endless tornt. With his uninjured hand, he painfully pulled out his phone and dialed a number. Not long after, soone ca to pick him up. When the person saw his three missing fingers lying on the ground, their face turned expressionless with shock, turning pale, and they hurriedly helped him into the car. Pressing down on the gas pedal, they sped down the mountain, rushing towards the hospital.

In the car, Ma Jingxuan was already pale from blood loss, lacking much color. At this mont, however, his eyes were filled with rage and hatred. Though Hao Jian hadn’t killed him or ended his business, he had taken three of his fingers. Ma Jingxuan had always valued his appearance highly, and losing three fingers ant he would no longer dare to show his hands easily.

Staring angrily out the window, this seed even more painful than death itself. In that instant, he thought a lot; he must seek revenge, repay blood with blood, and make Hao Jian experience this kind of pain.

Yet, he had long forgotten that he was the one who had sought trouble with Hao Jian.

Half an hour later, he was taken to the hospital. Upon seeing the doctor, the doctor looked at the severed fingers and his wound, then shook his head, saying, “The fingers and the wound have both been contaminated, and too much ti has passed since they were severed. With current dical technology, reattachnt is impossible.”

Upon hearing these words, shock swept across Ma Jingxuan’s face, then it turned expressionless, devoid of hope. Imdiately after, with his uninjured left hand, he tightly grasped the doctor’s hand, seemingly pleading for his fingers to be saved.

The doctor understood his feelings well. Many patients had shown such expressions upon hearing the news, but he was helpless in this situation, helplessly shaking his head and releasing Ma Jingxuan’s hand.

In the mont of hearing the answer again, Ma Jingxuan completely gave up, his face desolate, and suddenly lifted his head to stare at the ceiling.

“Hao Jian, I will tear you to pieces!”

Ma Jingxuan roared, his voice echoing across entire floors, a testant to the rage burning inside him.

……

After turning around, Hao Jian didn’t look back at all, nonchalantly getting into the car and driving off. Throughout the entire process, his mood remained completely unchanged, as if he had just perford sothing utterly mundane.

Indeed, this was the case; back in the dark world, he used to do such things almost daily. The scenes had beco so mundane to him that he had “aesthetic fatigue,” feeling absolutely nothing.

……

He drove down the mountain and, at the base, suddenly spotted a familiar figure. Initially unsure about encountering her here, getting closer confird it was indeed her.

The person Hao Jian encountered was Wang Shuangshuang.

When Hao Jian saw Wang Shuangshuang, she, too, turned her gaze toward him. The mont she saw him, her eyes revealed delight.

Hao Jian hit the brakes and stopped the car. Today, Wang Shuangshuang wore a very casual outfit: a white T-shirt, jeans, and white sneakers. Despite the simplicity and lack of flashy attire, her outfit perfectly highlighted her beauty. Although the white T-shirt was loose-fitting, Wang Shuangshuang, wearing it, made it look perfectly fitting.

Seeing this, Hao Jian’s gaze seed entranced. This look of Wang Shuangshuang was different from her appearance in a nurse’s uniform. In a nurse’s uniform, she exuded a subtle distance, but now, she seed approachable, like a girl next door.

Hao Jian looked on, then glanced to the side, noticing other people with Wang Shuangshuang. They seed to be her friends, and their car apparently had so trouble, breaking down on the road, with its passengers standing nearby. There were two males and, including Wang Shuangshuang, two females.

Nearby, several other cars seed to be part of the group. Unexpectedly seeing Wang Shuangshuang here, Hao Jian didn’t hesitate to park and get out, walking toward her.

Upon seeing Hao Jian get out of the car, Wang Shuangshuang surprisingly ran over to him and suddenly wrapped her arm around his. Hao Jian was a bit surprised, unsure what had happened.

Then, Wang Shuangshuang spoke to the group, “This is my boyfriend; I told you about him.”

The group was on the phone calling for car repairs, then suddenly saw Wang Shuangshuang wrapped around a guy, claiming he was her boyfriend. The girl showed no particular expression, but one of the guys didn’t look pleased, especially the one on the phone, who imdiately hung up, staring at Hao Jian with a hint of anger.

“Is he really your boyfriend?” the guy asked Wang Shuangshuang.

Wang Shuangshuang, looking happy, held Hao Jian and said, “Yes, he’s my boyfriend, Hao Jian.”

The guy seed like he wanted to say sothing, but upon seeing the car behind Hao Jian, his expression imdiately changed, and his anger disappeared. The guy beside him seed to catch on, also glancing at Hao Jian’s car and promptly interjecting, “Oh, that’s even better. Our car’s having issues and won’t be moving anyti soon, so Shuangshuang, you should go with your boyfriend, and we’ll hang out again next ti.”

When Wang Shuangshuang heard this, she agreed and, holding Hao Jian’s hand, led him to the car. Hao Jian let her in the car, opened the car door for her to get in the passenger seat, and then closed the door, taking the driver’s seat and driving off.

After Hao Jian left, the guy who had shown anger finally vented his frustration, cursing, “Damn whore, I thought she was so pure. I planned on winning her over this ti, but I didn’t expect she had already latched onto a rich guy. No wonder she wasn’t interested in my advances.”

The guy who had spoken to diffuse earlier seed to understand his thoughts and patted him, saying, “Why be so obsessed with one flower when the world is full of them, Young Master Chen? Don’t be so angry. I’ll take you sowhere new, a place with plenty of fresh girls, newly available. Let’s check it out.”

As he said this, standing there was another girl, but he seed not to mind saying such things, even in front of her. The girl remained expressionless as if she’d grown accustod to such words.

Then the angry guy’s expression sowhat improved, saying, “I’ve made up my mind; I’ll acquire Wang Shuangshuang no matter what. I’ll carry it through.”

Then he glanced at the other guy, saying, “Let’s go. I have a burning anger to vent. Let’s follow your advice and cool off. It’s on .”

The two shared a knowing smile and said nothing more, quietly waiting for the repair crew to arrive. However, Young Master Chen quietly etched Hao Jian’s appearance into his mory. Initially, he had planned to humiliate Wang Shuangshuang’s rumored boyfriend upon eting him, but upon seeing the car behind Hao Jian, that thought faded.

His mother, that car is a luxury among luxuries, easily recognizable by him as being owned only by the ultra-rich. He prided himself on having a decent family background, but seeing Hao Jian’s car left him feeling deflated. His motivation vanished.

Nevertheless, he was determined to have Wang Shuangshuang, even if it ant using alternative thods. A wealthy scion like that is bound to fall in and out of love quickly, losing interest and moving on to new ones, so Wang Shuangshuang wouldn’t escape his grasp. He resolved to win Wang Shuangshuang over.

anwhile, Hao Jian had driven away with Wang Shuangshuang in the passenger seat. He noticed sothing was off, but since she hadn’t ntioned anything, he wouldn’t ask; that was his way of handling things.

Exiting the outskirts and entering the city, Wang Shuangshuang asked Hao Jian to stop the car and let her out. Hao Jian parked the car and let her off.

She looked at Hao Jian and said, “Thank you.” Hao Jian ignored her thanks and directly asked where she was heading. She said she wanted to walk by herself and then return to where she was staying.

Hao Jian, upon hearing this, offered to take her back, but she refused, saying she’d manage on her own. Hao Jian then asked where she lived now, and she refused to say, feeling she’d already received too much help from him and didn’t want to owe him further.

Hao Jian, hearing this, imdiately took her hand, seriously saying, “Get in the car. We’ll go to where you live, pack your things, and I’ll take you to a new place to stay.”

Wang Shuangshuang initially wanted to refuse Hao Jian’s goodwill but was not given the chance. Hao Jian took her straight into the car.
