Capítulo 1712: Chapter 1913: Boss Zhu Is in Trouble!

The ghost story at the Affiliated School spread among the teachers and students by the next day, leading to heated discussions online, with so claiming the school’s foundation was originally a graveyard that was relocated to build the school.

Even so self-proclaid students of the Affiliated School posted that their dorm beds start creaking around midnight as if being pushed, beginning promptly at midnight and ceasing at six in the morning.

Others claid to have seen ghosts on the school’s playground, leading to them transferring schools out of fear, a matter the school leadership suppressed, only now coming to light online.

Quickly, these events spread throughout Hua City, prompting the Degao Affiliated School leadership to convene a eting to discuss solutions.

The instigator of all this commotion remained in bed asleep, only awakening due to a phone vibration. He checked his phone to see a ssage from Shu Ya about last night’s events, realizing the extent of the chaos he’d caused.

A smile appeared on his face, and he sent a ghost emoji to Shu Ya. After a minute, without a reply, he guessed Shu Ya was busy working and sent an “I love you” ssage before tossing the phone aside.

After washing up, he noticed Shu Ya had made a heartwarming breakfast despite leaving early, with a note advising him to eat it warm, or reheat in the microwave if it’s cold, not to eat it cold.

Reading Shu Ya’s commanding tone in the last line, Hao Jian couldn’t help but smile. As his wife’s instruction, he dutifully obeyed, finding the breakfast still warm, so he didn’t reheat it and ate it at the dining table.

After breakfast, while stretching on the balcony, his phone rang, and he leisurely approached, thinking it might be Shu Ya calling, only to realize it was Director Wang.

Holding the phone, Hao Jian frowned slightly; since their last event together, they’d had no contact. What could Director Wang want this ti?

He felt puzzled; if it were sothing usual, a phone call wouldn’t co so early, as businessn avoid this since waking soone early isn’t polite.

But since Director Wang called at such a ti, it must be sothing urgent, so Hao Jian wasted no ti and answered the call.

Upon answering, he heard Director Wang’s anxious voice.

“Little Brother Hao, you need to co quickly. Boss Zhu is in trouble,” Director Wang said hastily, far faster than usual.

Hearing this, confusion clouded Hao Jian’s face; he didn’t ask further, simply saying, “Wait for , I’m coming now.”

After hanging up, Director Wang sent an address to Hao Jian. Though unclear what trouble Boss Zhu was in, Director Wang’s call warranted so attention, so Hao Jian dressed, left, and drove a car from the basent garage.

About twenty minutes later, Hao Jian parked at the given address, spotting Director Wang approaching anxiously as he turned off the car.

Director Wang imdiately grabbed his hand upon getting out, saying, “Little Brother Hao, Boss Zhu is in trouble!”

With a serious look, Hao Jian considered Director Wang’s unusually anxious deanor, wondering what actually happened to Boss Zhu.

Director Wang, pulling Hao Jian’s hand, said anxiously, “This morning, Boss Zhu lost all movent in his limbs, speech beca unclear, and he’s bedridden. Despite refusing dical attention, he mumbled to call you, feeling you could cure him.”

“Additionally, his condition seems to be worsening; he could talk earlier but not now. What should we do?” Director Wang said in distress.

Hearing this, Hao Jian showed confusion; he’d seen Boss Zhu healthy yesterday, yet now it’s severe according to Director Wang’s account.

Seeing urgency in treating the illness, and being called by Director Wang specifically, Hao Jian wasted no ti, proposing, “Let’s check now without delay.”

Director Wang agreed imdiately, “Alright, let’s see what’s happening.”

Director Wang led Hao Jian inside, past two bodyguards at the entrance.

Upon entering, Hao Jian silently observed; Boss Zhu was certainly wealthy, a fact supported by the room filled with valuable antiques.

Perhaps fearing theft or robbery, Boss Zhu hired many guards, ensuring each corner was surveilled.

Hao Jian couldn’t help but appreciate; the saying “the richer, the more life-fearing” proves true.

Without wasting words, Director Wang led him directly to the grand second-floor bedroom.

Inside, Hao Jian spotted many including Mrs. Zhu and unfamiliar faces likely relatives, as well as a tearful chubby girl presud to be Boss Zhu’s daughter.

Director Wang ntioned Boss Zhu has no son but deeply loves his only daughter, explaining her resemblance to her parents’ obesity.

Briefly observing, Hao Jian turned to see Boss Zhu looking like an unresponsive patient in bed without movent.

The observation lasted seconds before Director Wang continued bringing him closer, attracting everyone’s attention.

Director Wang announced, “Little Brother Hao is here, our savior!”

Eyes focused on Hao Jian, but apart from Mrs. Zhu and her daughter, most spectated indifferently.

Seeing this, Hao Jian discerned the relatives, waiting for so inheritance after Boss Zhu’s demise, cared little emotionally.

Internally amused, Hao Jian noted money’s truth-revealing power.

Yet despite internal thoughts, Hao Jian remained silent, letting Director Wang guide him to the bedside.

Director Wang urged, “Little Brother Hao, check Boss Zhu’s condition, see how to treat him.”

Hao Jian smiled, preparing to check his pulse but before he moved, Boss Zhu’s daughter protested loudly.

Interrupting, she warned, “Wait, I haven’t verified your credentials; you can’t just casually tend to my father.”

Director Wang quickly rebutted, “Niece, your father refused hospitalization, specifically asking Little Brother Hao. You heard this; don’t delay critical treatnt ti.”

Director Wang genuinely cared, knowing his own business ties with Boss Zhu ant personal losses should Boss Zhu suffer further.

However, the daughter held firm despite hearing her father’s own words, doubting Hao Jian’s credentials and why her father chose not to visit a hospital.

Frowning, she scrutinized Hao Jian.

Considering Director Wang’s seniority, she whispered, “Uncle Wang, I know the stakes but have my thod. Please refrain from interfering further.”

Director Wang felt angry witnessing disrespect from a junior, usually unable to accept such tone, but restrained by Boss Zhu’s dilemma.

Though frustrated by the encounter, he was silent, implied anger evident.

Witnessing this, Hao Jian silently chuckled, perceiving the dynamic without intervention.

Boss Zhu’s daughter began scrutinizing him, exhibiting the noble disdain for lesser folk.

Observing her obesity and disdain, Hao Jian suppressed his derision.
