Understanding Shu Ya’s personality, Hao Jian slowly walked to the underground parking lot, randomly drove a car out, parked it at the door, and waited for her inside, listening to soothing music and zoning out.

Unlike other restaurants, Piaoxiang Building is located not in the busiest part of downtown but in a discreet section, like a quiet retreat.
Hao Jian drove through the bustling downtown area, took over ten minutes stuck in traffic. As they passed through, Shu Ya seed to have noticed soone familiar, suddenly got out, asked Hao Jian to send her the address later, so she could catch up.
Left with no choice, Hao Jian rolled his eyes, driving on alone.
Once out of the congested area, driving got smoother, hence, faster, arriving at the destination in a few minutes.
As soon as the car was parked, a valet ca over; Hao Jian handed the keys to him, and he went to park the car. Hao Jian stood outside the Piaoxiang Building, briefly observing its outside appearance, indeed in traditional elegant style. Hao Jian thought that Director Wang indeed knew how to pick places.
While spacing out, a sudden voice reached his mind.
“Little Brother Hao, you ca fast; I just arrived and you are already here!” Director Wang said while walking towards Hao Jian, full of smiles.
Hao Jian was stunned; he didn’t expect Director Wang would personally co to greet him, originally thought a waiter would lead him over. Director Wang’s enthusiasm made him sowhat uneasy.
One glance, surprisingly Wang Yu was not beside Director Wang. Considering past matters, Wang Yu seed to have been fired by Director Wang or simply fled and vanished. Given such events, it’s impossible for him to remain by Director Wang.
Hao Jian just pondered quietly, naturally wouldn’t speak these thoughts aloud. His face showed a smile, heading towards Director Wang, saying, “Director Wang, you are so warm that I feel overwheld!”
The two shook hands; upon hearing this, Director Wang slapped his hand lightly, eyes displeased, saying, “Ah, Little Brother Hao, if you continue saying things like this, you’re truly treating
like an outsider!”
Hao Jian smiled, said nothing. Director Wang also smiled, without speaking.

“Creak!” A sound of the door opening, a waiter seeing Director Wang and Hao Jian coming over, opened the door, led them inside, then closed the door, standing outside waiting for inside custors to call.
Inside the private room sat four people, one thin, one with a moderate build, and two who, at a glance, were evidently a couple.
These four glanced at Director Wang leading Hao Jian in; the two slowly stood up, while the couple remained seated, showing no reaction, their eyes not on Hao Jian until Director Wang cast a look, prompting them to stand.
When guests arrive, those at the table should stand to show respect. They looked at Hao Jian without any reaction, evidently dismissive of Hao Jian, standing only after Director Wang’s look.
Hao Jian quietly smiled, not bothered by it. He attended as Director Wang personally invited him, otherwise wouldn’t have co; hence, he didn’t mind how the others behaved.
Director Wang gestured, saying, “Little Brother Hao, these are Boss Wang, Boss Chen, and Boss Zhu with his wife, Mrs. Zhu.”
As Director Wang introduced, Hao Jian tacitly morized these titles; Boss Wang was the thin one, Boss Chen with a moderate build, while Boss Zhu and Mrs. Zhu were the previously dismissive couple.
No matter what, Hao Jian slightly bowed, smiling, to show respect.
Then Director Wang introduced Hao Jian to them, saying, “Boss Wang, Boss Chen, Boss Zhu, Mrs. Zhu, this is the Little Brother Hao I ntioned, truly remarkable; capable of exceptional feats. In a past gambling stones event, I almost lost ten million; thanks to his insight into the flaw, I avoided such loss!”
Boss Wang, Boss Chen, Boss Zhu, and Mrs. Zhu were all involved in the Gambling Stone World or Antique World; hence, they had heard about this matter, accepting Director Wang’s invitation for this reason.
After introductions, everyone took seats; Director Wang, as the host and senior in this gathering, sat at the head, while Hao Jian and others sat surrounding him. Though it’s a round table without specific spots, people interested in antiques often hold superstitious beliefs, sowhat adhering to such traditions.
Hao Jian sat quietly observing these people; Boss Wang was skinny as a bone, his deanor showing his prudent, cautious character; as for Boss Chen, with his calm manner, was undoubtedly soone with deep-seated strategizing and patience.
Regarding Boss Zhu and Mrs. Zhu, Hao Jian didn’t think much. There were too many people like them; simple glances made it apparent.
Despite that, given their status in the Antique World, a chaotic mix, they couldn’t be ordinary, possessing certain influence; yet, Hao Jian attended only out of courtesy to Director Wang, not bothered by other matters.
Director Wang’s face wore constant smiles; he ticulously planned this feast to foster good relations with Hao Jian, introducing him to these Antique World big shots, part of his agenda.
After everyone sat, dishes began to be served.
Though silent, Hao Jian sensed that besides Director Wang’s jovial deanor, the others were preoccupied, Boss Zhu and Mrs. Zhu constantly assessing him, their gaze laden with upper-class scrutiny towards lower-class, clearly regarding his attire, preconceiving him as a poor boy.
To this all, Hao Jian said nothing, just quietly smiling.
