Capítulo 1643: Chapter 1844: We’ll See About That!!!
Upon hearing Hao Jian say this, Liang Youzhen imdiately broke into a smile and said, “Alright, alright, let’s have so soup first!”
He then sat up slightly, picked up the soup bowl from the bedside table, and Hao Jian used a spoon to pour him a bowl, which Liang Youzhen began to drink.
Liang Youzhen slowly finished the bowl of soup in one go. At this ti, Hao Jian placed the prepared traditional dicine on the bedside table and said, “Uncle, this is the dicine I’ve prepared for you. Rember to brew and take it every day.”
He then laid them out and pointed to the already labeled notes, saying, “These portions are to be taken twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, always after als. As for brewing the dicine, just simr it on low heat. The other portions should be taken once a day but brewed quickly on high heat, preferably taken together with the evening dose. Besides, this is just three courses of treatnt. After three, you should be mostly better, and based on how you feel, we’ll adjust the prescription.”
Seeing Hao Jian’s prepared dicine, Liang Youzhen was surprised. Hao Jian had ntioned this only yesterday, but he executed it so efficiently, obviously holding this matter close to his heart and focusing solely on it.
Little did he know that his chronic problems were just a piece of cake for Hao Jian, and preparing the dicine was just a small expenditure of ti. But if other traditional Chinese dicine practitioners had tried, they wouldn’t have been able to formulate this dicine.
Looking at Hao Jian, he said contentedly, “Little Hao, thank you so much! It’s really awkward to trouble you like this!”
Hao Jian smiled and replied, “Not at all, Uncle. It’s just a small favor; you needn’t say that. If you do, then I’ll be the one embarrassed.”
Liang Youzhen chuckled. This young man really suited his taste; his speech and conversation were thoroughly engaging.
He said, “Alright, alright, considering you’re doing this and not soone else, I won’t ramble on too much, hahaha…”
Hao Jian gave a warm glance. At this mont, Liang Yuwei tidied up the dicine and placed it on the bedside table, rolling her eyes at Hao Jian.
She said, “Didn’t you say you have other matters to attend to? If you do, go take care of them quickly.”
When Hao Jian heard this, his face showed confusion. I haven’t said anything to you about this; when did I tell you I have other business? He was well aware of Liang Yuwei’s little sches. In front of her father, she found it hard to ask him to leave, especially since he was supposed to be her boyfriend in her father’s eyes, she didn’t want him staying longer, otherwise things might escalate.
She didn’t want him hanging around; if he stayed, her father might urge her to get married, so she insisted on sending Hao Jian away.
Hao Jian wasn’t blind to her thoughts, but since she pushed him to leave, he decided not to go, hoping to enjoy watching her deal with marriage pressure.
A plan above, a counterasure below. Hearing Liang Yuwei’s deceptive thod, he said, “But I’m enjoying chatting with Uncle now; what could be so important?”
Liang Yuwei stomped her feet in irritation but couldn’t find words to rebut what Hao Jian had said.
Liang Youzhen, hearing her claim that Hao Jian had other matters, said, “If you have business, Little Hao, young folks should prioritize their careers, you shouldn’t delay further here. Go take care of things.”
Hearing this, Hao Jian replied, “Well then, Uncle, rember your dication schedule. Regarding today, maybe hold off on taking any dicine. Adjust your mind and body, start tomorrow, and I’ll check on you then.”
Liang Youzhen nodded, saying, “Alright!”
He admired Hao Jian imnsely, gazing at him with a smile. He thought, this young man is wonderful; right now, he’s Weiwei’s boyfriend, and I’d love him to be my future son-in-law.
But nobody can predict romantic fate, so while he harbored this thought, he had no clue about his daughter’s feelings, thus kept the notion to himself without telling Liang Yuwei.
Hao Jian said, “Well then, Uncle, I’ll head out now and visit you another day!”
Liang Youzhen nodded, saying, “Alright, alright, you go take care of your business!”
Liang Yuwei rolled her eyes at Hao Jian, signaling him to leave quickly, urging him not to linger. Hao Jian shrugged helplessly, ready to head for the door.
But before he reached the door, there was a sudden knock, leaving him puzzled, and the door opened.
Upon opening the door, it turned out to be the director, along with his assistant, so hospital leaders, and Liang Youzhen’s attending doctor.
The director was sowhat surprised to see Hao Jian there.
He had brought a large group with him for two reasons. First, because of Liang Youzhen’s status, he wasn’t the type to kick soone when they were down. He had heard a bit about Liang Youzhen’s situation and knew he was staying at the hospital, so he planned to visit him. After all, Liang Youzhen was still quite respected, and he admired him a bit.
Secondly, it was because of Hao Jian. He heard from his assistant that Hao Jian had so relationship with Liang Youzhen, and Hao Jian had been diligently visiting these past few days to take care of him. So, when he received this information, he decided to visit Liang Youzhen, both for public and private reasons.
However, what he didn’t expect was to actually encounter Hao Jian during the visit, which indeed surprised him.
As soon as the director saw Hao Jian, he extended his hand and said, “President Hao, I didn’t expect to see you here!”
Hao Jian extended his hand to shake the director’s, and the two shook hands. Hao Jian said, “I didn’t expect the director to co here either!”
Saying this, both of them laughed, creating a very harmonious atmosphere. The leaders and doctors beside the director, hearing this, also laughed along with them very cooperatively.
At this ti, Liang Youzhen looked at Hao Jian with a face full of surprise. After all, Hao Jian was just a young person, but the director of Hua City Hospital was a prominent figure, almost on equal footing with him. Yet, this elder figure called Hao Jian “President Hao,” not in a condescending way that the older generation would typically use for the younger one, which surprised him greatly.
The crucial point was that he knew the director’s temperant, who was never one to bow to the rich and powerful, with quite a proud and dignified personality. Yet, here he was, actively greeting a young person like Hao Jian, which really astonished him.
He was so shocked that he didn’t know what to say, because his daughter hadn’t told him about Hao Jian’s identity, which only fueled his imnse curiosity about Hao Jian’s true background.
Speaking of which, the director then shifted his gaze to Liang Youzhen and said, “I’ve co this ti to see how Brother Youzhen is recovering, and I’ve specially brought the experts in this field along with his attending doctor.”
At this point, Liang Youzhen sat up. He and the director had so prior acquaintance, so it wasn’t strange for the director to address him as Brother Youzhen.
After a round of conversation and pleasantries, Liang Youzhen felt sowhat comforted. None of those old friends ca to see him, yet this director, whom he had only t a few tis, ca. This made him feel a bit of warmth.
After the conversation, the director asked the experts and the attending doctor to start examining Liang Youzhen to see how his recovery was going. After a series of examinations, the results were surprisingly good. They unanimously concluded that if Liang Youzhen continued to rest and recuperate in the hospital without any special circumstances, he could be discharged.
Upon hearing this news, a smile appeared on Liang Yuwei’s face. Her greatest concern was her father, and hearing this good news, how could she not be happy?
After yet another round of conversation, the director, having many matters to attend to, excused himself as he had to deal with other affairs after spending so ti there.
After expressing his gratitude, Liang Youzhen bid farewell to the director, who left with the group.
At this ti, Hao Jian also bid farewell to Liang Youzhen and imdiately followed the director out.
After leaving, Hao Jian rembered the matter he promised Wang Shuangshuang and said to the director, “Director, since your Hua City Hospital is about to cooperate with our Shu Ya Group, could I have a tour of your hospital?”
Upon hearing this, the director imdiately smiled. The cooperation with Shu Ya Group was considered the biggest project in recent years because Shu Ya Group was willing to invest a huge amount in the hospital’s facilities. Although Hua City Hospital already had the best facilities in the city, if Shu Ya Group could introduce advanced imported equipnt from abroad, the hospital’s dical equipnt would then be comparable to those in advanced hospitals overseas.
Thinking of this, then hearing Hao Jian’s request, he agreed without hesitation, saying, “Since President Hao has this idea, I would naturally be very willing.”
Compared to other matters, cooperating with Shu Ya Group was definitely much more important, so he imdiately told his assistant to postpone the eting scheduled for later to the afternoon and accompany Hao Jian on the hospital tour first.
The assistant received the command and went to handle the matter imdiately.
Seeing the director’s attitude, Hao Jian smiled and said, “Thank you for the trouble, director.”
The director smiled and said, “Not at all, it’s no trouble. A walk is always good, after all.”
