Capítulo 1531: Chapter 1730: A Sword Through the Chest!!!
If a person’s most beautiful mories in life will always be stored in their mind, just like a revolving lantern, where life’s unforgettable scenes erge before death.
Then, even if these mories are lost, wouldn’t they be easily found again, after all, these are the most beautiful mories.
Hao Jian looked at the Moon, and said, “Moon, I don’t know why you suddenly disappeared for so long back then, nor do I know why you lost your mory, why you forgot
so thoroughly, but I think, since those mories are the most beautiful, I believe you will definitely rember them again.”
The Moon listened to Hao Jian’s words with a puzzled expression, simply thinking he was still lying to her.
“Get lost, I don’t want to hear your lies!” Moon said.
While stabbing Hao Jian with her sword, the Moon continued speaking.
Yet Hao Jian couldn’t help but laugh and continued, “It’s okay, no matter what you think now, I must say it.”
The Moon’s gaze grew increasingly filled with Killing Intent.
“Do you rember years ago when we folded willow branches by the lake? Despite always pretending to be stern and mature, deep down you’re still a little girl. Just folding willow branches made you so happy and cheerful. I still rember your smile vividly, as if it were yesterday. If ti could rewind, I would really want to go back and see the you from then!” Hao Jian said to himself.
But the Moon covered her ears, “I’m not listening, I’m not listening.”
Hao Jian continued, “And that August when we went to the big lake together, you stubbornly insisted on going into the lake to catch shrimp, even though you couldn’t swim well. You rolled around in the water several tis and almost got drowned. I was so scared that I jumped in to save you without even having ti to take off my clothes or put down my stuff. When I grabbed you, you kicked
hard several tis. If I wasn’t strong enough, you’d have knocked my grip off and I’d have fallen into the water.”
As Hao Jian spoke, even though the Moon covered her ears, she still heard him. It was clear that while she didn’t want to listen, his words were affecting her, helping her recall the mories hidden deep within her mind.
“You stop talking, I don’t want to hear it!” Moon said.
But Hao Jian continued stubbornly, “Even if you don’t want
to speak, I must say it. Even though you’re an outright foodie, you don’t deserve the title, as you didn’t even know how to eat shrimp. On that day, you didn’t catch shrimp in the lake and almost lost your life. Later, you insisted on eating shrimp, which I took you to eat. But you didn’t even know how to eat it and ended up greasy and drunk, which really cracked
up, haha.”
As he spoke, Hao Jian burst into laughter.
The past events from Hao Jian’s mouth beca a way to recall beautiful mories, which increasingly affected the Moon, seemingly triggering sothing she could rember.
But such vague recollections made her more disgusted with Hao Jian’s way of speaking.
Yet Hao Jian continued, “That sumr, you said you wanted to climb high and write an ode, to experience great sentints and broad visions. But before we even climbed halfway, you started whining about being too tired to go on, resting on a rock instead. Then suddenly you saw cucumbers planted by farrs on the mountain, insisted you wanted to eat so, and stole a few of them. But the farr saw you, and chased us almost around the entire mountain. Originally unwilling to climb halfway up, you now led us running all the way to the top, and you looked so excited!”
As Hao Jian spoke, he wore a sweet expression.
In his eyes, these are the most beautiful mories, woven together into a beautiful past.
The Moon listened, desperately covering her ears and shaking her head, seemingly tornted by the mories washing over her mind.
Hao Jian looked on, pained yet resolute. If it could help the Moon recover her mory, he’d be willing to do anything.
He wanted to continue, but the Moon shook her head furiously, urging him not to speak further.
Hao Jian gritted his teeth, preparing to speak again, but as soon as he did, the Moon lunged at him with her sword.
In that mont, Hao Jian was a bit stunned, but sothing suddenly clicked, reminding him of past instances where the Moon wielded her sword against him, fiercely stabbing into his chest.
In many situations, Hao Jian appears indifferent, as these things no longer matter to him, they’re irrelevant.
But there are things he truly cares about, things he must possess no matter what.
Much like with Shu Ya and the others, he’d protect them at all costs, even if it ant laying down his life. That’s a man’s duty to the won he cherishes, a steadfast conviction he fiercely upholds.
For instance now, if it could help the Moon regain her mory, he’d willingly take her sword to his chest. No matter the pain, it wouldn’t matter amidst these circumstances. After all, he’s endured graver injuries before; this little wound is insignificant.
So, in those few seconds, Hao Jian made a decision not to block the Moon’s sword and just let her stab him.
If it could help the Moon recover so mories, then what he did would be worth it.
Thus, the Moon grasped the Longsword and thrust it towards him.
“Whoosh!”
The Longsword undoubtedly pierced directly into Hao Jian’s chest, ran through his body, and the tip erged from his back.
Blood flowed uncontrollably from the corner of Hao Jian’s mouth.
At this mont, the Moon looked at Hao Jian in disbelief. She originally thought that Hao Jian would block this thrust, so she stabbed fiercely, but she didn’t expect Hao Jian not only didn’t block, he didn’t even blink or step back, allowing her sword to stab into him.
Now looking at Hao Jian, her face was full of disbelief and surprise, with pain in her eyes.
She didn’t actually want to hurt Hao Jian; she just wanted to vent her anger, never expecting Hao Jian wouldn’t dodge or block.
This sword went straight through Hao Jian’s body, and if it were an ordinary person, they would have fallen long ago, but Hao Jian, with his strong willpower and resistance, forcibly continued to stand.
“Why?” Moon asked Hao Jian.
Hao Jian said, “No particular reason, every word I said to you is true. I’m not a liar. If it can awaken your mory, I am willing to do anything!”
As Hao Jian spoke, the Moon’s eyes suddenly turned red, and tears stread uncontrollably.
Suddenly, her mind was like a vast ocean stirred by a great wind, causing a storm to rise; originally very calm, now it was filled with the sounds of wind, thunder, and rain, raging around.
The Moon suddenly clutched her ears, shaking desperately, as if enduring imnse pain.
Hao Jian looked even more pained, then grabbed the Moon’s hand and said, “Moon!”
But the Moon suddenly shook off Hao Jian’s hand, tears streaming down her face as she desperately muttered sothing like asking him to go away and get lost, her face reflecting extre agony.
At this mont, Ye Yiyun, who had originally been watching from the side, suddenly appeared puzzled, not knowing what was happening to the Moon. If she suddenly rembered sothing, then everything would have been in vain, a failed effort, so he wanted to rush up and take the Moon down.
But just as he had this thought and prepared to go up, he looked up and saw Hao Jian’s eyes filled with Killing Intent, then looked at Hao Jian, who was standing proudly even though he had a Longsword piercing through his chest, and yet still held another Longsword in his hand, staring intently at him.
Ye Yiyun, whose restless thoughts had been stirring, was instantly frightened by this scene. Scared, he quickly pulled his legs back and stood tremblingly on the spot, not daring to move.
Yet, at this mont, the Moon was suffering as if being devoured by a thousand insects.
She felt countless fragnts and mories suddenly surge in her mind; these mories seed real, but in her heart, there was a thought desperately telling her they were fake, frantically trying to resist these incoming mories.
She felt great pain, as if her brain was being torn apart.
The next mont, looking at Hao Jian, she felt an unprecedented dependence, thinking that this man in front of her was everything, who could offer everything, giving her safety and reliance.
She suddenly embraced Hao Jian tightly and started crying, not even knowing why.
Hao Jian smiled contentedly; seeing the Moon in pain, he was also in pain, but if it could help the Moon regain her mory, he was willing to suffer with her.
The Moon looked up at Hao Jian, and the sense of unfamiliarity suddenly vanished, replaced by a familiar feeling. Yet she didn’t know why there was this familiar feeling; she couldn’t explain it, but this man before her could bring her warmth, an unparalleled warmth.
She looked at this man, finding so joy even in the pain brought by the roaring waves in her mind.
For so unknown reason, she just felt that this man was everything, and thought how wonderful it would be if she could always hold him.
