The information he got from the woman is almost the sa as what he got from his son, which ans that they are speaking about the sa person. The woman said that she noticed a kind of gaze that told her sothing was up, but he didn’t think too much about it.

This would be the perfect opportunity to kill the rising talent. Besides, what would anyone say? Would anyone discriminate against them for killing a thief caught in the act?

’If only you were not planning to steal, then people would say that I killed an innocent person. However, now that you have decided to steal, you will be making things easier for . My reputation won’t be on the line, but rather it will improve... People will praise for killing a potential thief. Well, what can I say? I am a righteous man and can’t bear to have a thief stealing from innocent people!’

The Baron smiled mischievously at his devious thoughts.

All he has to do now was make his son go there tonight and help stand guard against what would happen tonight.

The Baron’s heart was telling him otherwise; telling him that things might turn for the worst, but he just ignored it. What could go wrong?

He sighed as he realized he was angry a while ago for no reason at all. Why would his son not be at the top?

Anyone that tried to outshine them would be dead at!

He started smiling before continuing to play with his beard.

Odin noticed his father had restrained his aura of Cultivation before sighing.

His father’s anger was now satiated, so let him be done with this and get the hell out of this fucking place! But as he looked up, he saw what he had never seen since he was about four or five years old: His father was smiling!

He had always wished to see his father smile, but now that he saw it, he was both shocked—and kind of disgusted.

Smiling does not fit his father!

He wished he could undo his actions before standing up with closed eyes. His father sure is ugly when he smiles.

He started hearing muffled laughter from the sides as the servants passing by attempted not to laugh at the sight of his father’s face.

And, it looks like his father had not noticed it yet.

He could only keep his head down low in embarrassnt and try to inform his father of their current situation. He hoped that he would never anger his father ever again, as his situation seconds ago is sothing that he never wanted to experience again.

"Father..."

Before he could even talk to his father, he was already interrupted by him.

"You know what, Odin? Don’t worry about Leon! He will be taken care of and will never dare hurt you again," the old man did not dare to further explain the details, as that will only implicate him in the future.

"But..." Odin naturally wanted to know more; he wanted to know how his father will deal with this.

"No Buts!"

The Baron said before walking away. When he was a few ters away from Odin, but close enough to still be heard, he stopped.

"If you don’t mind, then please forgive my actions a few monts ago."

What he said helped lighten Odin’s mood. He has never seen his father ask for forgiveness.

anwhile, the old man quickly walked away to his son’s quarters. He had to search for Nux quickly and discuss the plan with him.

He soon arrived but found out that his son stationed two guards there and ordered them to guard the room.

The guards’ expressions changed automatically before saluting, with respect and nervousness coating their every action. They hailed him in a nervous tone, and he was quick to notice that sothing was wrong.

"Lord Baron!" The guards hailed while saluting simultaneously.

He ordered the guards guarding the room to leave. But he could not help but wonder, why would his son station the guards right now—what’s the point? Unless... He was doing sothing secretive inside.

He knocked once before hearing an angry voice.

"Guards! I told you to not let anyone inside!"

"Nux! Will you open this door, or should I help you open it!?"

The Baron’s voice thundered out and resounded in the hallway right in front of Nux’s room.

’Just who did he think he is?! Has the Holy Sword Faction tempered with his common sense? Doesn’t he know that only I, the Baron, am capable of chasing away those good-for-nothing guards?’

I should put so sense in his dumb brain once Leon is dead.

He stood there, and as a Cultivator, his senses are enhanced, so he could hear the whispering of two people from the room. One was a woman while the other voice was his son’s.

In the room, a man in his late twenties was talking to a girl in her early twenties. The girl scampered for her clothes in a hurry.

"Don’t panic! Stay put and let handle this," the young man said while trying to lie her back on the bed, covering her up to her chest. He did not even bother to hide her—what’s the point anyways? It’s not like his father hadn’t found out yet.

Though the girl was telling him to let her hide, he knew it was of no use.

The woman closed her eyes tightly due to nervousness.

"..."

"Father, what’s the problem?"

The Baron heard everything, and he was not ashad or disgusted by his son’s actions. Instead, he was angry and confused.

He was angry at the first sentence he heard when he ca here. His son told them not to let ANYONE inside, and he, him the ’Baron’, is in that ANYONE category. It was a sign of disrespect. He made a ntal note to teach the boy a lesson he would never forget—once he was done with Leon, of course.

He was confused by the actions of his son right now. He is a silent killer; a person that will make the soul of even the strongest man shake. His aura was mysterious and sinister. Who will have the courage to have sex with such a person?

The woman with him must be sothing else. This was the most noticeable change in him since he ca back from the faction.

But now, everything will be put to good use. Hell! He is a prodigy and a Cultivation maniac. In a few years, he might even be awarded to be a Baron or even an Earl!

But now that Leon has done the unbelievable, the position might shift to Leon. That’s one of the reasons why Leon must die!

While he was still thinking about everything, the door opened.
