"I’m sorry my Young Master is still in seclusion right now."
Ying Yue voice was heard as she spoke to the gathering of people before her.
At this mont she had changed completely after Xian Tiandi gave her a make over and a change of clothes she looked like one from a prestigious family.
So even though the people gathered in front knew that she was just a maid of Xian Tiandi no one belittled her outright.
"Who are you? What status do you think we have that you can speak us you lowly maid?!"
Well, almost everyone...
The one who spoke was the Zhou Kang whom Xian Tiandi defeated the other day after he was seen bullying Ying Yue when she pleaded with him for help.
Zhou Kang looked very different from before, his pupils had transford from their previous brown to a bright red.
His previously skinny figure which was due to lack of training had beco very robust and his height had increased greatly reaching almost seven feet tall.
Standing before everyone he looked like a small giant.
Ying Yue felt at loss at what to do. Mostly because this was inside the Xian Clan Mansion!
There were Xian Clan mbers around but they were all just watching with cold faces and none of them had any intention of helping.
In fact, it was with their silent consent that Zhou Kang could behave so unruly.
Although, so of them were just bootlickers to his identity with him being the Zhou Clan Patriarch’s only son.
He was pampered beyond asure.
Zhou Kang was getting impatient, he couldn’t wait to trample Xian Tiandi under his feat and make him feel humiliated publicly.
He didn’t care about a thing the maid before him said.
"Go get Xian Tiandi here for or else..."
"Or else what?"
Zhou Kang imdiately beca startled upon hearing that voice. His fist clenched and his impatient expression beca focused.
’He is here,’ he thought.
’That bastard.’
The other Zhou Clan mbers and Xian Clan mbers all turned to look behind Ying Yue and see a figure calmly walking forward.
Xian Tiandi having undergone body refinent looked even more handso with a thin line between his visage being handso and beautiful.
But luckily for him, he didn’t cross the line otherwise...
"You did not finish your sentence, Zhou Kang. What were you saying?"
Xian Tiandi arrived before them and tapped Ying Yue’s shoulder causing her to visibly relax and she bowed and retreated backwards.
"Is that really Xian Tiandi?"
"Yeah, I think so?"
"He looks different than before. He couldn’t have really awakened right?"
Many whispers flew around at this ti as many contemplated the news that they have heard.
It was already an old tale in the Xian Clan that Xian Tiandi had a special physique that granted him innate strength beyond the norm.
But that was it.
He had only spared with the Qi Refinent Realm disciples of the clan and had not done anything too outrageous and that’s why he was still overlooked.
But during the encounter with Zhou Kang, Xian Tiandi deliberately let out Qi fluctuations to silently announce his awakening.
It was all part of the plan except...
’Sothing has changed. Zhou Kang was supposed to remain useless until the ti of war and be killed later on, but now...’
Xian Tiandi narrowed his eyes as he analyzed Zhou Kang’s new look.
’This looks like that physique but I can’t be sure. If it really is then it would reveal a lot of things,’ Xian Tiandi speculated.
His mind raced with a plan and in the short mont that Zhou Kang was stunned he had planned many steps ahead.
’Ti to test this. If I’m right he would blow up in anger and it would be easy to get him to agree to the wager.’
’But whether he would keep his word is another thing so I’ll need to...’
"Xian Tiandi, if you’re a man co face in Battle! That’s why I am here. To regain my honor!"
Zhou Kang shouted as he clenched his fist harder, even his eyes seed to glow faintly upon his declaration.
Xian Tiandi noticed the subtle change and nodded internally.
’It has to be it.’
"Why should I agree to your random request? As you can see I was cultivating before you barged in here screaming like a banshee."
"What?!"
Zhou Kang didn’t expect such a response and just as everyone was expecting him to straight up attack Xian Tiandi just like before he suddenly exhaled and his body visibly relaxed.
"You’re right, I have indeed acted unruly please forgive my manners." Zhou Kang bowed.
"What?"
"Are you kidding ?"
The other disciples were shocked including those that ca with Zhou Kang.
"Is this still our Young Master?"
Zhou Kang heard this but except frowning a bit he did nothing else as he stood straight and looked at Xian Tiandi waiting for his response.
Xian Tiandi observed this very closely and sneered in his heart.
’Another variable.’
Xian Tiandi was able to tell that Zhou Kang had received a sound Transmission which is sothing only a Nascent Soul Cultivator can do.
’Is it the Zhou Clan Patriach? No, this level of concealing should be beyond him. The Zhou Clan Ancestor then?’ Xian Tiandi speculated.
’Whichever the case things have got more interesting...and troubleso.’
’The butterfly effect has already begun. Hmm,’ Xian Tiandi felt a slight sense of urgency.
"Since you have apologized then it’s fine but still. I propose a wager. Since you feel you have to fight to regain so honor you lost, which by the way is an excuse that sounds too fancy for your personality, then how about this?"
Zhou Kang looked thoughtful for a mont and then nodded his head.
"What do you propose?"
Xian Tiandi noticed he had received another sound Transmission but didn’t mind. It was going well so far.
"Whoever loses has to follow the winner and listen to him for Three Months."
"Fine I a...wait, let’s make it one month instead," Zhou Kang who was almost about to nod his head stopped mid-way and ’thought’ for a mont before changing the conditions."
Xian Tiandi nodded, "One Month then."
"Deal!" Zhou Kang grinned and the faint glow in his red eyes beca more intense.
Xian Tiandi rely looked at this without any change in his expression.
’All according to plan. But still, this shows that my knowledge of the future can only be used as a reference and not one hundred percent valid fact.’
