Chapter 1721: Chapter 1578: Monunt Tears Inheritor!

The entire world was engulfed in the howling gales of destruction, roaring and wailing!

In the sky, a colossal black hole resembling the throat of a devil devouring the heavens had already consud half of the fortress city. The remaining half continued to disintegrate into dust.

Entire legions were being sucked into the black hole, reduced to blood mist in the spatial storm within it.

The black hole was shrouded in a crimson veil, ghastly and breathtaking.

Through the blood veil, silhouettes of so Immortal-level figures could still be seen. They thrashed about like drowning n, struggling desperately, but their bodies were inexorably drawn into the vortex of death, their eyes filled with sheer terror of death!

Even Immortal-level powerhouses could not escape this catastrophe.

In the direction of the Heavenly Mountains, the weary mbers of New Moon Land stood amidst the shrieking gales. They tilted their heads back, watching as the entire city grew smaller and smaller, watching as it fragnted within the black hole…

An entire city, hundreds of thousands of enemies. They had trampled over the cities of New Moon Land, slaughtered its citizens, and brought endless blood and tears to the peaceful land of New Moon.

But now, they finally faced their rightful retribution!!!

At this mont, the New Moon Legion, its leaders, and their commander quietly observed the annihilation of their enemies. They didn’t know whether to cry or laugh hysterically.

As the entire city was consud, the black hole began to slowly nd itself.

At the heart of the rciless storm stood Chu Mu, on the lifeless plane of chaos. He stared at the fortress city as it was swallowed completely by the black hole, as it was reduced to dust, as every last one of its inhabitants turned into blood mist.

His black eye and silver eye reflected no emotion, devoid of all human sentints. Yet, as the city of the enemy was ground to nothing by the black hole, could a glimpse of jubilant tears be seen in the soul of his fla-lit, devilish visage?

The black hole gradually closed, and Hell’s Gate slowly faded from this world.

However, Chu Mu, who had wielded earth-shaking power to perform this, was now utterly exhausted and unable to move. After the city had been swept into the relentless dinsional storm, Chu Mu’s fierce and fiendish body also began to slide slowly toward the narrowing black hole.

“Chu… Chu Mu!!!!”

Liu Binglan’s face turned deathly pale as she saw Chu Mu slipping.

Everyone scread in shock!!

The power of the black hole was terrifying beyond asure. Even Chu Mu, despite possessing spatial powers of the Abnormal type, could not have withstood the enormous destruction it unleashed…

He had held out until the city was engulfed, but he himself had been utterly drained.

“Roar! Roar! Roar!!!!!!!!!!”

Zhan Ye, stepping on spatial voids, transford into a streak of dark light and charged directly toward the black hole.

But the black hole had only a tiny slit left, and no matter how fast Zhan Ye was, it was impossible to pull Chu Mu out in ti.

“Whoooosh!!!!!!!!!!”

The cold bitter winds of the spatial storm lashed at him. The silver and black Demon Flas on Chu Mu’s body had already dissipated, and like a fragile, dried leaf, he was left at the rcy of the chaotic gales.

Chu Mu’s eyes remained open as he felt his body descending endlessly into a bottomless abyss. Yet, before his eyes, he saw a land covered in snow and ice.

He saw Zhan Ye roaring as it charged toward him, he saw Liu Binglan and Ye Qingzi on the ground, their faces buried in their hands and crying, he saw everyone’s stunned and anxious expressions, full of concern for him.

Chu Mu desperately wanted to fly toward them, but he was just so, so tired.

Thick dark elents, brutal spatial forces, a void-like chaotic world—this seed to be the very place where his demonic form was born. Chu Mu did not feel discomfort; rather, it resembled the feeling of collapsing into his own lazy bed…

Chu Mu was utterly spent. He knew that even if he fell into this dinsional world, the spatial storm here might not necessarily shred his abnormal-body to pieces.

He did not struggle, nor did he have the strength to. He surrendered his body to fall into another world.

His vision grew increasingly blurry, though he could vaguely make out two figures battling at the black hole’s closing gap.

Who were those two figures?

One of them was the Wupan Navy Marshal. Chu Mu recognized his Four-eyed Steel Demon Eagle.

Failing to kill him this ti didn’t an Chu Mu would let him off the hook, though he no longer had the strength now. All he could do was let his body sleep in this unknown world first.

But who was the other figure fighting against the Wupan Navy Marshal?

Why did this person’s presence seem strangely familiar?

This individual was so powerful that they had managed to tear Marshal Pan Jun’s Four-eyed Steel Demon Eagle to pieces—an Immortal-level Soul Pet at that!

Chu Mu’s consciousness beca fainter and fainter, and the last thing he saw was Wupan Leader Pan Jun fleeing in panic.

The figure, who had wrapped their face in cloth, could have chased down Marshal Pan Jun and killed him. Instead, they abandoned the chase, racing toward Chu Mu in frantic desperation.

That person drew closer and closer, while Chu Mu’s eyelids grew heavier and heavier.

The Space Ring on him emitted a sudden warmth, as if the Monunt Tears were bursting forth with intense brilliance!

The Monunt Tears would only exude a mild glow when encountering another inheritor. But this ti, the light was overwhelmingly radiant, especially from the Beast Soul Monunt Tears—it felt as though they were calling out to that person.

The strongest inheritor of the Fourth Era!

In his hazy mind, this concept suddenly surfaced!!

He was an inheritor of the Monunt Tears!!!

The Raccoon Elder Li had said that when the Monunt Tears of the Ancient Beast Soul shone brightly, it signified the encounter with the true inheritor—a fated enemy of all Fourth Era Monunt Tear holders!!!

Chu Mu had not expected the true inheritor to appear at this ti. His thoughts beca jumbled and were too heavy to untangle further.

His eyes finally closed, and all he could make out faintly was the inheritor’s eyes…

The black and silver eyes finally shut, just as the black hole’s last sliver sealed entirely.

Chu Mu lost his consciousness, his body tossed into the erratic currents of the interdinsional storm.

Yet, he did not know that a hand had reached out and caught him just before he plunged into the endless abyss.

“Whooosh!!!!!!!!!!”

The fierce winds tore apart the cloth wrapping the Monunt Tears inheritor’s face, revealing a cold, steadfast visage.

It was a bronzed face, with black eyes that carried a calm determination, bearing a certain resemblance to the unconscious Chu Mu.

Chu Tianmang tightly grasped Chu Mu’s wrist, as the ferocious spatial storm raked across them, carving wounds onto their bodies.

Chu Tianmang gave a firm tug, pulling Chu Mu onto his mount, the Abnormal-Maned Monster.

“Beast Soul Monunt Tears, Sin Fox Monunt Tears, Demon Monunt Tears…” Chu Tianmang murmured as his gaze landed dazedly on Chu Mu’s glowing Space Ring.

This… was fate.

Amidst a bleak and desolate world, the New Moon mbers stood silently atop the Heavenly Mountains.

They raised their heads, gazing at the fully vanished black hole, watching their king disappear along with it…

Not far away, Bai Yu, whose entire body burned with silver Demon Fla, was flying toward them.

In his arms, he carried soone—Mu Qingyi, who had been lost in the chaos.

Mu Qingyi was unconscious, her soul clearly injured once again during this battle. It was uncertain which one of her Soul Pets had been lost this ti.

Bai Yu handed Mu Qingyi over to Ye Qingzi’s Soul Pet for healing, then looked at everyone with a puzzled expression. “What’s wrong?”

“Chu Mu… he also fell into the black hole. He didn’t make it out,” Pang Yue said quietly.

“He… He’ll be fine, right? Don’t you all have Abnormal powers? You can survive in the interdinsional space, can’t you?” Liu Binglan asked anxiously.

Bai Yu didn’t respond.

Indeed, the Nightmare Demon Body could survive in interdinsional space, but if Chu Mu fell into the storm while unconscious and encountered strong spatial forces, he could still be torn to shreds.

“I’ll take a look,” Bai Yu said, flying toward the now-sealed sky.

Only Bai Yu might be capable of ripping open the space to pull Chu Mu out of the alternate dinsion, but doing so was imnsely dangerous.

As Bai Yu ascended, a spatial rift suddenly appeared above his head!!

It was as though a pair of claws reached through from another world, forcefully tearing open a channel to the Mortal World. The rift expanded rapidly, and Bai Yu could already feel the spatial storm raging within.

Bai Yu furrowed his brow, staring warily at the claws.

Soon, a half-invisible creature with silver mane leaped out from the torn space.

“Abnormal-Maned Monster?” Bai Yu was montarily stunned, finding the scene oddly familiar.

Indeed, upon the back of the Abnormal-Maned Monster sat a man, his body adorned with nurous wounds inflicted by the spatial storm.

“It’s you?” Bai Yu asked in surprise, recognizing the man who had erged by tearing through space.

It was the second ti Bai Yu had seen this individual, and on both occasions, the man had clawed his way back into this world from another dinsion. But unlike the last ti, when he was severely injured and near death, this ti his injuries were minor, though the person he was carrying was bloodied and beaten.

“Chu Mu!!” Bai Yu imdiately identified the man slung over the newcor’s shoulders—it was Chu Mu, who had been swept into the black hole!

“Take him.” The man handed Chu Mu to Bai Yu.

He said no more, swiftly mounting his Abnormal-Maned Monster and leaving without delay.

The Abnormal-Maned Monster galloped through the air, its semi-invisible body gradually blending with the sky. Bai Yu watched the figure hurry away, his face full of confusion.

Bai Yu caught the unconscious Chu Mu and noticed that the Space Ring on his finger was still glowing faintly…

For so reason, as the Abnormal-Maned Monster Rider departed, the Space Ring’s light slowly dimd, like once-bright eyes gradually fading with disappointnt.

Bai Yu didn’t dwell on it too much. He carried Chu Mu to the ground.

Seeing Chu Mu returned safely, everyone let out a collective sigh of relief.

Ye Qingzi looked at Chu Mu, his body drenched in blood. The fortress city was completely destroyed, all the enemies eliminated. Chu Mu had avenged those who had died and safeguarded the land for the living…

Recalling the ti in Wanxiang City when Chu Mu was similarly gravely injured yet grinned and spoke to her, tears slid uncontrollably down Ye Qingzi’s cheeks.

She didn’t have the Resurrection Technique, and not every wound could be healed…

But if Chu Mu truly perished, she would unhesitatingly walk the uncertain path of resurrection, just like Bai Yu.
