Chapter 1629: Chapter 1489: The Very Image of Fish People

When leaving the Demon Tomb, the Raccoon Elder Li dispatched the previously seen Sky-Swallowing Condor to take Chu Mu and Ning Man’er to the dwelling of the East Sea rfolk King.

To be honest, Chu Mu himself was very curious. What would the territory of the Sea Race be like?

He had been to Henghai several tis and occasionally saw so sea monsters moving through the ocean, yet he couldn’t associate these sea monsters with a civilization like that of the humans’. What differences or similarities were there in their living habits with humans?

The flying speed of the Sky-Swallowing Condor was steady, as if no matter where it flew, it drifted slowly like a cloud.

Due to its imnse size, even a supposedly slow flap of its wings made the condor travel swiftly, flying past the Demon Tomb and the Vast Sea. When Chu Mu saw a huge deep blue vast ocean, he started to lose sense of direction.

“Brother, why is the ocean ahead red? Is there really a Red Sea?” Ning Man’er suddenly asked, pointing ahead.

Looking forward, Chu Mu indeed saw the ocean turning a bright red color, spreading towards them.

Chu Mu took a deep breath and imdiately noticed a thick sll of blood mixed with the sea breeze.

“It’s not the Red Sea, it’s blood-dyed,” Chu Mu said.

“Ah?” Ning Man’er looked ahead in surprise. The vast stretch of ocean was red, and this striking sight brought an extrely shocking visual impact!

Scarlet Sea!!

When the Sky-Swallowing Condor flew deeper, the sea beneath Chu Mu and Ning Man’er had already turned into a true Scarlet Sea, horrifying to behold.

Where there is blood, there must be corpses.

Indeed, within the Scarlet Sea, corpses began to float up, starting from one or two and gradually increasing to hundreds, then to thousands. Soon, the sea above was densely populated with floating corpses of sea creatures, Sea Beasts, and Sea Demons…

Ning Man’er closed her eyes, unable to bear seeing anymore.

Chu Mu continued to gaze down upon the ocean, wanting to understand what had happened in the ocean, but unfortunately, in this red-dyed stretch, Chu Mu couldn’t spot a single living being.

As they continued flying forward, the color of the blood in the ocean gradually faded a bit.

However, before the ocean could completely return to its normal color, a large stretch of blood-red sea appeared again!

This ti, there were even more corpses – huge sea creatures’ skulls, limbs, and mangled bodies floating, interspersed with the internal organs and fins of aquatic creatures scattered everywhere!

Seeing another vast spread of corpses, Chu Mu could feel that these creatures had not been dead for long.

The ocean has inexplicably turned into a Floating Corpse Field, this horrific scene ti and again stunned Chu Mu. Was the war with the Catastrophe Sea Demon in the East Sea already underway?

Chu Mu had seen so corpses floating in the ocean before, but never on such a massive scale as this Floating Corpse Sea!

Chu Mu was flying high in the sky now, which allowed a wide view of the sea area, and this vast extent was linked by patches of varying blood-red shades, densely packed with corpses, forming an enormous oceanic corpse field.

Most importantly, not all the bodies had surfaced. Who can guarantee what countless remnants of creatures might still be piled under this bloody ocean?

This was a marine battlefield, its ruthlessness possibly even surpassing human wars, particularly when the blood mixed into the ocean, creating a shocking scarlet scene!

“Brother, what happened to this sea?” Ning Man’er dared not look down anymore, the sight reminding her of the experiences in the Silent Forest.

Chu Mu shook his head, trying to calm his own heart.

If it weren’t for reaching this deep sea, how would Chu Mu have known about such an intensely fierce war existing above the ocean?

Flying deeper, the color of blood finally slowly faded away.

The ocean, though still murky, ultimately restored its original color. Ning Man’er was still sowhat terrified,

After flying for a few more days, the ocean seed relatively calm. At this mont, the Sky-Swallowing Condor emitted a cry, as if to tell Chu Mu that they had arrived at the dwelling of the East Sea rfolk King.

Chu Mu looked around and saw a coral reef island in the ocean!

This coral reef island appeared as if it was built with countless gems, shimring with a charming and dazzling luster from afar.

Around the coral reef island, there were many creatures. Chu Mu saw sea monsters with thick shells, their backs resembling small islands, floating clouds of flying creatures suspended in the air like clouds, and graceful figures darting swiftly through the waves, as if rmaids in the stream.

As the Sky-Swallowing Condor flew past overhead, Chu Mu realized that these flying creatures were in fact standing with nurous Sea Demons.

These Sea Demons looked like lizards, yet also had fish fins and tails, their long Claws and gradually forming One-horned made it clear they were very ferocious carnivorous beings.

These Sea Lizard Monsters, standing on the flying creatures, appeared like human guards on patrol, cold and serious, ready to kill any intruders indiscriminately.

The Sky-Swallowing Condor seed quite familiar with these Sea Lizard Monster guards. When they saw it approaching, they stepped aside without any obstruction and opened the way for it.

The Sky-Swallowing Condor entered Coral Reef Island unhindered. Coral Reef Island was not very large, but still heavily guarded by various Sea Demons.

Upon arriving at Coral Reef Island, the Sky-Swallowing Condor let Chu Mu and Ning Man’er down and inford them that mbers of the East Sea Sea Race would lead them to the East Sea rfolk King.

“Patter patter patter~~~~~~~~~~”

On the nearby shallow beach, a slender figure was continuously splashing in the water.

Chu Mu turned around and saw a woman swimming over from the water.

Her figure was graceful, her sensuous waist swaying gently as she approached Chu Mu and Ning Man’er.

Water parted, revealing a pretty face erging from beneath, her wet hair sticking to her cheeks, adding a touch of allure and seductiveness.

Of course, the most enticing was her body. Her silky shoulders were completely exposed; Chu Mu had noticed it when she was swimming towards them.

Her wheat-colored healthy skin shone attractively, and her curvaceous figure made Chu Mu almost mistake her for a beautiful human woman.

“Fishman Sister, why don’t you ah?” Ning Man’er’s cheeks blushed slightly, and she pouted.

“You… you… are human… humans?” The fishman woman spoke in a very rigid human language.

“Yeah.” Ning Man’er nodded and then glanced at Chu Mu beside her, pinching him hard on his arm and pretended to be angry, “Bad brother, don’t stare at her!”

Chu Mu gave an awkward smile, realizing that the legend of rmaids was real. He had just seen a real-life beautiful rmaid. It seed that sailors in the past had indeed seen those mysterious and beautiful figures in the mist, but the rmaids were not willing to interact with humans.

“How can you speak human language?” Chu Mu asked curiously.

rfolk are ultimately rfolk, there are fundantal differences between them and humans, at least the above part of this rmaid is female, but her lower half is indeed a blue fish tail. Beautiful, yes, but still a different species.

“I… I don’t know either, I couldn’t speak it before, but hearing you speak, I felt like I could speak it too…” the rmaid said.

“Young Master, rfolk naturally possess excellent auditory and mimicking abilities. They can mimic human pronunciations and express the language they want to convey. Also, what you are hearing now is not actually the human language, but one of their magical sounds, which is ant to make you understand her aning,” explained the Fox Elder.

Previously in Demon Tomb, the Fox Elder had kept silent, but after leaving Demon Tomb, this old fellow popped up again, making it evident that he really did sothing wrong in Demon Tomb and was too ashad to show his face.

“The Sky-Swallowing Condor has conveyed the ssage to . You want to et our king?” the fishman woman asked.

“Yeah, please lead the way.” Chu Mu nodded.

“Can you swim?” the fishman woman asked.

“Isn’t your king on this island?” Chu Mu asked curiously.

“This island is the City Gate. Our city is below,” the fishman woman explained.

“Then please lead the way.” Chu Mu said.

The fishman woman nodded, her slender body diving back into the water, with Chu Mu only seeing her blurred figure passing through the coral.

Chu Mu, holding Ning Man’er, jumped into the water.

Honestly, Chu Mu couldn’t swim; he just forcibly moved in the water by splitting it and keeping it away from his body.

Ning Man’er did not like this thod. She freed herself from Chu Mu’s grasp, soaked her tender body in the water, and swam gracefully like a rmaid.

“Brother, you’re such a landlubber!” Ning Man’er said with a laugh, using the ntal Sound.

Chu Mu didn’t like direct contact with water. Seeing Ning Man’er swimming so effortlessly, he inadvertently noticed her thin clothing soaked through and turning completely transparent, revealing her smooth and fair body to his eyes.

He had to admit, calling her Little Maid was a mistake since Ning Man’er had indeed matured significantly, with a flexible waist like a little snake, perky and full derriere, and a pair of swiftly moving sensual long legs.

Such an enticing scene unfolding before him, it was even more tempting than the half-naked body of the rmaid earlier. Chu Mu didn’t know whether Ning Man’er was intentionally diverting his gaze or she was just unaware of her unintentional exposure, but he remained silent.

“Brother, swim faster,” Ning Man’er teased as she swam around Chu Mu, finding a way to bully him, which made her very happy.

“Yeah, yeah.” Chu Mu tried to divert his gaze, ntally chanting to himself, ‘I didn’t see anything, I didn’t see anything.’

“Swimming underwater is so much fun, so many little fish.” Ning Man’er swam farther away, surrounded by countless colorful little fish.

It appeared that the underwater creatures also loved this charming little fairy. (.)
