Chapter 1356: Chapter 1220: Treasure of the New Moon Land Chapter 1356: Chapter 1220: Treasure of the New Moon Land …
…
“Rena it? That’s not necessary, let’s continue to call it New Moon Land. It’s quite fitting since our territory resembles a new moon.” Chu Mu shook his head, rejecting the Elders’ trivial suggestion.
Now, Chu Mu was the person who had contributed the most to the New Moon Land, and he was undoubtedly its king, the Elders thought it respectful to rena New Moon Land as Chu Land.
Chu Mu felt it was unnecessary; although he found his own surna appealing and pleasant to hear, New Moon Land indeed seed more appropriate for this piece of land.
In major matters, Chu Mu was not very interested in participating; he left these issues for Liu Binglan, Jiang Demon Emperor, Elder Shen, Elder Pang, and others to handle.
Liu Binglan suggested taking advantage of the fact that New Moon Land had just recently beco independent and was gaining fa among the various Earth Realms, to plant the Palace Forces’ flag on soone else’s territory.
New Moon Land was currently a private territory protected by the Divine Sect and had Experts sitting in residence, truly a Land of safety. But New Moon Land could no longer remain isolated as before; it had to continue to develop, and for developnt, it must step out of its own territory to learn, exchange, and trade, all of which were very necessary.
“Chu Mu, I’ve been to most of the Sacred Realms. The resources within the Sacred Realms are far greater than what we have recorded, and there are even places I don’t dare enter,” Liu Binglan looked at the sowhat listless Chu Mu.
Liu Binglan knew that Chu Mu was not very interested in these matters, but he had to get involved in the future developnt of New Moon Land, which was a significant matter.
“Well, that’s good news,” nodded Chu Mu.
For a piece of Land to prosper, it can’t do without a high-level Mysterious Realm. If the Three Great Palaces’ Sacred Realms are higher-level Mysterious Realms, then it is as if the Three Great Palaces possess a vast treasury.
As the strength of the people in New Moon Land gradually improved, those treasures that had not yet been touched would naturally be discovered, and the process of discovery would again enhance the strength of New Moon Land as a whole, creating a virtuous cycle.
Of course, an essential point is that New Moon Land must have a transition in strength.
Liu Binglan said that there was a clear hierarchy in the Sacred Realms.
Firstly, the minimum level required to venture into the initially explored territories is at the Monarch Level. However, since there are few Dominator-level powerhouses in New Moon Land and those that exist can hardly exceed the Low-grade Master.
This Low-grade Master is a kind of threshold, which just happens to prevent the people of New Moon Land from exploring deeper into the Sacred Realms.
If more people could cross this threshold and gain the strength to enter deeper into the Sacred Realm, then the depths of the Sacred Realm would beco a truly vast treasure trove. The Strong Ones venturing inside would have a significant chance to obtain Xuan Objects, especially since the depths of the Sacred Realm have not been explored for thousands of years.
As is well known, a virgin land is bound to be rich in resources, which is the best driving force for the developnt of the entire territory!
Of course, the Sacred Realm needs Strong Ones to cultivate it, and only the likes of Chu Mu, Mu Qingyi, Morning Crown Prince, Ye Qingzi, Ye Wansheng, and Liu Binglan, these new-generation Experts, have the strength to do so.
Regrettably, apart from Liu Binglan, the others all have a restless heart.
“Aunt, the Sacred Realm is vast, and with so many Sacred Realms and only a few of us reaching the Dominator level, it’s quite unrealistic for us to explore and cultivate them one by one. I think instead of clinging to this vast treasure that we can’t fully grasp, we should open it to the outer realm’s Strong Ones…” Ye Qingzi spoke up as everyone fretted over the issue.
“Open it to outsiders? How could that be allowed? If they take things away, what will we do? I’ve been comparing with books from outer realms all this ti and found that those resource-rich Mysterious Realms they talk about are no match for a tenth of our Sacred Realm. They are not rich at all; if it weren’t for our limited Strong Ones…” Elder Xiao was the first to object.
Liu Binglan also thought that Ye Qingzi’s words were sowhat nonsensical, but she didn’t rush to refute and instead looked at her, wanting to hear what Ye Qingzi had to say next.
“For example, we currently have nine Dragon Caves full of treasures. With our limited strength, we can’t deal with all the guardian dragons, managing only to obtain so fringe resources. So, instead of stubbornly hoarding treasures that nobody can obtain, why not let outsiders in to help us defeat the guardian dragons in the caves, and then share the obtained treasures proportionally? Although we won’t get all the resources, we will at least have a part of them, which can be used to nurture our own Strong Ones… In doing so, we at least break the deadlock…” Ye Qingzi explained.
After hearing Ye Qingzi’s explanation, so people had an epiphany and thought it might be a viable approach, but others were still frowning, as not everyone liked the idea of sharing the treasure with others.
Seeing so of the Elders were still reluctant, Ye Qingzi smiled slightly and continued, “Consider it from a different perspective, it might be easier to accept. We can treat it as if we are employing so Experts to explore the Sacred Realm for us, letting them cultivate the Sacred Realm for us and then pay them a considerable sum. In the end, we still benefit.”
The Sacred Realm only had one exit. When Chu Mu entered the Sacred Realm back then, he was not allowed to carry either the Space Ring or the Soul Capture Ring, and upon exiting the Sacred Realm, one must undergo an inspection, which made the chance of private stashing non-existent.
“Hmm, this thod is worth trying,” Liu Binglan nodded in agreent.
Just as Ye Qingzi said, instead of holding on, it’s better to open up and let everyone benefit.
“Also, now is the ti to recruit more Strong Ones to join our Palace Forces. Those who join can have a reduced tax rate; I believe that Soul Pet Masters who pursue the way of ‘Soul Pets’ would be willing to join us,” Ye Qingzi said.
Several Elders nodded their heads continuously, thinking that this indeed could create a virtuous cycle.
“Hehe… We have beco more and more rigid and sealed off; it’s the Spirit Master Ye who has awakened us…” Elder Pang laughed.
Ye Qingzi’s strategy was adopted; from now on, Liu Binglan would send so people to establish a palace in the outer territories and then attract experts interested in exploring the Holy Land…
As experts frequently visit the New Moon Land, it will naturally boost the overall strength of the region.
Of course, there’s another important point: Demon Spirits now reside in the Nightmare Demon Sacred Realm of the New Moon Land. Considering the current relationship between Chu Mu and the Demon Spirit Clan, it would be possible for so Emperor-level Demon Spirits to eagerly sign soul contracts with the erging experts from New Moon Land—breaking through the impasse of racial restrictions. In two or three decades, New Moon Land should be able to produce a host of Dominator-level powerhouses!
…
Chu Mu truly had no interest in developnt matters and couldn’t co up with any good suggestions.
When he returned to his palace, Chu Mu couldn’t help but reveal a silly smile as he looked at Ye Qingzi beside him, “I didn’t expect you to have such a big-picture perspective. How about I abdicate and let you beco the queen? Our Queen Ye can lead Our New Moon Land onto the path of prosperity.”
“Actually, this plan was your little slave’s idea…” Ye Qingzi said.
Ye Qingzi often needed Yu Suo’s nurturing when refining dicine and occasionally chatted with her. The one who truly wanted to rule over New Moon Land as queen had a vision that extended far; she was already prepared for many of the issues and problems that New Moon Land encountered.
“I was wondering how you ca up with those ideas.” Chu Mu nodded, suddenly realizing the truth.
If this was Yu Suo’s plan, then it wasn’t surprising at all; this woman surely wanted to develop New Moon Land as a cornerstone for her to gain access to broader territories.
Ye Qingzi gave Chu Mu a glare, expressing her displeasure, “What do you an, my intellect couldn’t possibly suggest such an idea?”
“Uh… right!” Chu Mu still grinned, showing his teeth.
This guy even dared to nod!
Ye Qingzi revealed her little sharp teeth, morphing into a feisty little wild cat ready to show Chu Mu, the bad guy, a piece of her mind.
Just now, Chu Mu had been pondering how to sneak a kiss, and instead, Ye Qingzi had walked right into the tiger’s den!
Chu Mu gave a hearty laugh, managing a tily counter-attack and subdued Ye Qingzi first.
Pinned down by Chu Mu, Ye Qingzi knew very well what he wanted to do, her eyes showing a hint of shyness, but she still bit her red lips, determined not to yield unless Chu Mu clarified his previous statents.
Chu Mu couldn’t care less about that; with no one around, he took the chance to warm up with Ye Qingzi…
Chu Mu was already moving his mouth towards Ye Qingzi’s fragrant lips, but she pursed her lips tight, refusing to give Chu Mu the opportunity.
She was still resisting!
But no matter, the alluring aspects of Ye Qingzi weren’t limited to her moist lips and small tongue. Chu Mu continued to kiss down her delicate chin and pale neck.
Ye Qingzi’s cheeks instantaneously turned red with shyness. This was still the yard, after all; such recklessness—if seen by a maidservant—would be absolutely mortifying.
As it turned out, Ye Qingzi’s resistance was futile. She capitulated, biting down on one last condition–they had to at least get back to the room.
… (Alright, Little Fish admits this book is a tad pure; so critical processes are just skimd over, which might surprise those who have read Little Fish’s previous book.)
…
Chu Mu had been out training for almost half a year, plus dealing with so affairs after the territory declared independence, so it had been a long ti since he and Ye Qingzi were intimate, and this ti their affection lasted for quite a while.
After the passion, with her beautiful cheeks flushed, Ye Qingzi asked Chu Mu a very loving question.
Chu Mu pondered and finally decided, “Either a boy or a girl is fine.”
The matter of children was indeed tricky. He’d been with Ye Qingzi for many years, and they’d been intimate plenty of tis. Ye Qingzi hadn’t deliberately avoided it, so there should have been joyous news by now, but there were no signs yet.
This made Chu Mu think of sothing the Fox Elder had ntioned—that high-level humans’ fertility might be limited, with a reduced chance of success.
A low success rate wasn’t a big deal; they just needed to be more frequent. There were so activities that Chu Mu still thoroughly enjoyed.
