“Understood, Senior Sister. Elder Tian, please follow .” Gui Huanyin led from the front while Granny ng followed behind them, clearly still wary of hm,

“Relax. He’s an expert in fighting ghosties,” assuaged Xiaoshuai, snacking on a drumstick whilst sitting on Tian Ran’s thigh.

Tian Ran turned her attention to the small spring originating from the top of the neighbouring mountain. “Xiaoshuai, what… is the water user, Qiao Xue, like?”

“Why do you care? Do you not trust MuYu?”

Tian Ran curled her lips. “I haven’t seen him in years. Do you reckon he liked her because she’s pretty?”

“Mm… I don’t know who’s prettier between you two. You’re both pretty. I like you both.”

“You’re the sa as Mu Yu.”

“No. I like you the most.”

“Lies. You’ll tell Qiao Xue the sa thing, I bet.” Tian Ran gently tugged Xiaoshuai’s ear. “Tell what sort of girl she is.”
