Michael and the Calamity Dragon fought Kytos together. He might not need any help from the Calamity Dragon, but the ancient creature didn't want to leave Kytos alone. He told Michael that he was going to kill Kytos if he failed to regain his fated position as the Guardian of the Origin Universe.
Michael didn't like the way the Calamity Dragon spoke, but he accepted the condition. He would have to kill the Primal if they didn't return to their sacred duty either way. They were too dangerous if let loose.
Michael arrived behind Kytos after the Calamity Dragon's void flas burned through his Essence mbranes. He embraced Kytos tightly and infused one of the Expanse Links into the Primal. Primal Kytos tried blocking the Expanse Link, but Michael infused the link with enough pristine Essence to overwhelm him. Furthermore, Unlimited Enhancent and the Soul Tears of Soul Grimoire boosted the Expanse Link and pristine Essence, elevating their potency and efficiency to a higher level. That was barely enough to establish the connection with the Expanse Link and start infusing pristine Essence into Kytos. The first traces of Origin Essence were produced within Kytos, starting the Salvation process of the second Primal.
Kytos transford Michael into a half-dead porcupine with hundreds of Essence Spears but Michael ignored the onslaught. He relied on the Expanse's Essence to fuel his Divinities, which worked together in unison. Four Divinities worked at full power within Michael alongside more than a dozen Soultrait Symbols. No matter how strong Michael was, the ntal power drained from multitasking with so many powerful abilities was far from easy. If anything, it was one of the most challenging things he'd done until now.
It was impossible to evade all attacks, especially now that Michael had to supply two Primal with enough Essence to stimulate their production of Origin Essence.
Gluvos used too much Origin Essence against his brother, infusing Origin Essence into the Primal to remind him of his sacred duty. That was great and all, but it consud too much Origin Essence, which urged Michael to open the floodgates of Expanse Essence. Michael had to share his Essence with two Primal, with one of them growing stronger as more and more Origin Essence nestled in his being.
"Go faster!" The Calamity Dragon cursed Michael, but he ignored the dragon after sending him a wave of supre healing serum. There was no need to pay any more attention to the Calamity Dragon. The ancient creature would be fine as long as he didn't sustain any grievous injuries.
Michael evaded a series of Essence Blades that exploded as they whizzed past him. The explosions were massive and destructive enough to destroy entire planets, but Michael blocked the explosions with a single Imperial Barrier. He used his Soultraits, Seer, and Primordial Vessel, to their limit via two Soullife Arts and added Galaxies of Elents by altering his Essence to move even faster through the open space.
He may not rely on Beast Halo and Taming right now – the Soultraits were useless in the given situation – but Imperial Barrier, Perfect Enhancent, Death Call, Extraction, Slipstream, Emperor Qi, Godly Faith, and even Mind Watcher were incredibly useful.
Primordial Vessel, Death Call, and Extraction could be considered his strongest Soultraits because of the Divinities that grew from them, but Godly Faith was at least as useful. In fact, it was how Michael acquired enough power to fight the first Primal. Of course, River of Vigor and the Nature Divinity couldn't be ignored either. If not for his terrific fast recovery, Michael would have died tens of tis already.
But he was still alive and well.
He overshadowed his enemies and survived. Michael wouldn't go down quickly.
"Die!" Kytos roared, severing the Calamity Dragon's wing with a several hundred ter long saber made of Essence. The Calamity Dragon roared in pain and anger but he couldn't retaliate. But Michael could. And he did. The Law of Poison, Power of Extraction, and Death Authority pushed forward, augnted by Unlimited Enhancent. The Laws and Authorities shrouded the massive saber and feasted on the Essence.
"How about you start paying attention to too? I'm so lonely without any attention," Michael teased Kytos, whose head flicked to Michael in fury.
He tried retracting the Essence Saber but it was already too late, Michael appeared before Primal Kytos, large blades made of Pure Aether calmly resting in his hands. Michael swept past Primal Kytos, the Pure Aether blade drawing blood and essence as one blade severed the Primal's arm while the other cut through the Essence Saber.
Primal Kytos roared aloud and spun around, releasing waves of Essence Spears where Michael had been at. But he'd slipped away. Using Slipstream, Michael arrived next to the Calamity Dragon with the dragon's wing in one hand. He infused supre healing serum into the wind and the severed stump, put them back together, and returned to Kytos, who welcod him with Origin Essence.
Creations made from Origin Essence were more stable, stronger, and…more painful. Michael didn't like how much pain they inflicted, but he could accept the pain if it ant that the Primal started utilizing the Origin Essence reserves within him.
After all, the use of Origin Essence indicated that the Primal was changing and that he recognized the potency of Origin Essence. It was stronger…better.
'Go on. Attack . Try to kill !'
Primal Kytos used more and more Origin Essence, which drained his reserves rapidly. However, Michael was already ready for that. The more Origin Essence the Primal used, the easier was it to infuse more pristine Essence into him. The Expanse Link connecting the Primal to the expanse made everything so much easier as well.
As Kytos attacked with a flurry of projectiles and blades, Michael focused on the infusion of pristine Essence and the destruction of the weave's Essence. It was a slow process, but that was fine. Primal Kytos was slowly pushed toward the perfect Balance. That was all Michael needed!
