Boom!

With a burst, the dragon egg exploded like a cannonball.

Ji Xinghuo was hit directly by the blast, but there was only shock without lethality. He saw the black eggshell shatter into countless pieces, turning into golden specks that fluttered in the air before lting away like snowflakes.

A dragon shadow flew out from the center of the exploding dragon egg, rising and circling slowly over Ji Xinghuo’s head.

"Annihilation Dragon!"

Ji Xinghuo looked up and observed attentively, imdiately overwheld with joy; indeed, it was identical to the Annihilation Dragon recorded in the texts.

The Annihilation Dragon had two notable characteristics.

The first was its small size; it was the smallest among the seven Divine Dragon species, even smaller than most baby dragons when fully grown;

The second feature was that it resembled the Dragon of the End. Its body was long and snake-like with four claws on its belly, its scales dark and its back graced with a pair of narrow dragon wings that usually clung to its body, almost as long as its whole body when spread.

The dragon overhead matched both characteristics.

When it had just erged from the dragon egg, it was less than a ter long, but it imdiately grew at a visibly quick pace.

Ether energy from kiloters around gathered, forming an invisible energy storm that poured into the body of the Annihilation Dragon, increasing its size by seconds, and soon reached about five ters before stabilizing.

This size was much smaller than normal young dragon species, not to ntion compared to the Tungshan Dragon or Whale Dragon.

Its body was elongate and its posture graceful.

Only the body part where the double wings and forelimbs grew together was sowhat thicker; from the hind limbs backward was all tail, making up half of its total length.

At the tip of the tail, three spikes grew side by side, and its back was flat.

While flying, most of its wings were folded and clung to its sides, occasionally vibrating briefly. The wing mbranes were translucent pale gold, leaving trails of golden light that scattered around when fluttered.

At first glance, its scales appeared purely black, but upon careful observation, one could see a golden sheen shining through the black, revealing that they were actually dark gold!

It had only a pair of horns on its head, simple and minimalistic in shape; its dragon head was prominent but not fierce, and the pupils of its eyes gradually faded into a dark gold color.

Indifference! Majesty!

Ji Xinghuo made eye contact with it and imdiately felt a hint of kinship.

After its size stabilized around five ters, the Annihilation Dragon slowly descended from above the ice caverns, hovering in front of Ji Xinghuo, examining him with eyes filled with exploration and curiosity, then circling around him.

That terrifying aura of destruction had vanished long ago.

Just as Ji Xinghuo was about to reach out to touch it, Qing Hong jumped out of his pocket, showed its true form in front of Ji Xinghuo, bared its teeth at the Annihilation Dragon, ready for a desperate fight.

The Annihilation Dragon was startled and with a flap of its wings retreated to the edge of the ice cavern, opened its mouth at Qing Hong, gathering a mass of dark gold light ready to spit out.

The aura of destruction appeared again!

"Stop!"

Ji Xinghuo quickly perford instantaneous movent to get between Qing Hong and the Annihilation Dragon and forcefully ordered Qing Hong to shrink and cease battle preparations.

The Annihilation Dragon remained wary, but seeing Ji Xinghuo block the enemy, the light in its mouth gradually dissipated.

Ji Xinghuo sighed in relief.

"Co here."

He tried speaking to the Annihilation Dragon, and indeed it understood, hesitating briefly before approaching, its eyes still filled with innocence, bewildernt, and confusion, only instinctively trusting the person before it.

Ji Xinghuo reached out to stroke the Annihilation Dragon’s head, the touch solid and cold, feeling like touching a tal sheet.

"You were hatched by using Spiritual Origin Ability; it shouldn’t be too much to accept as your master, right?" Ji Xinghuo said smilingly.

While speaking, he activated the Dragon Vein User.

Although Dragon Vein User was only First Level, it was already usable.

Ji Xinghuo emitted an aura of dragon, imdiately making the Annihilation Dragon feel even closer, as if it had t a mber of its own kind.

Its tail affectionately coiled around Ji Xinghuo, and as Ji Xinghuo’s fingertips bled, a round drip of fresh blood flew out and landed in the mouth of the Annihilation Dragon which absorbed the blood without any resistance.

The Dragon Veins of both parties rged, establishing a coexisting relationship.

Quickly, Ji Xinghuo felt a connection form between him and the Annihilation Dragon, sowhat similar to Alien Coexistence but with differences.

He imdiately opened the Wanxiang Star Pupil interface.

Sure enough, below the information interface for Qing Hong and Jiu You, a third interface appeared.

[Dragon Species: Annihilation Dragon]

[Level: Catastrophe-Shock]

[Abilities: Ancestor Dragon Vein (First Level 1/20029), Annihilation Light (First Level 1/2447)]

"Damn!"

Ji Xinghuo’s eyes instantly bulged round, a delightful exclamation escaping his lips.

The Annihilation Dragon had only two abilities, pitifully few for a Shock Level dragon, but the quality of these abilities was terrifyingly high.

Annihilation Light was a Star Fall Ability.

And Ancestor Dragon Vein was actually a Solar Eclipse Ability!
