In an instant, Ji Xinghuo entered his top speed.
Swift as lightning, he dodged the most powerful Canghuo Dragon, passing between the other two, his acceleration burst forth, getting faster and faster.
"Take him down!"
The Dragon Lord on the back of the Canghuo Dragon roared.
He was a True Dragon man with a cold visage, appearing to be in his forties, clad in heavy armor. As he issued his command, an invisible wave rapidly spread out from him, enveloping an area of a thousand ters.
The other two Dragon Lords also employed their techniques; one threw a black spear, while another transford into a white fla, chasing like a shooting star.
The three Canghuo Dragons too turned around to pursue.
Although the Canghuo Dragons were not known for their speed, their huge bodies were extrely nimble. White fire erupted from the gaps in their scales, significantly boosting their flying speed.
However, the three Dragon Lords and the dragons were all a step too slow, and even the Gravity Field released by the leading Dragon Lord failed to cover Ji Xinghuo by a whisker.
A step late led to being constantly behind.

The leading Dragon Lord’s gaze was icy.

Turning around, he faced the approaching Dragon Lords, his eyes flashing with electric light. With a booming sound, his body transford into a massive bolt of lightning. The Dragon Lord, trying hard to dodge while flying, was still struck by the lightning, turning black and plumting downwards.
And Ji Xinghuo himself had disappeared.
The three Canghuo Dragons looked around but couldn’t find their target.
The leading Dragon Lord’s expression changed as if realizing sothing, he hurriedly ordered, "Back to base!"
The others also ca to their senses; they had been fooled. The target they were chasing was just a Shadow Clone, and the real Ji Xinghuo had deceived them right under their noses, likely still in the sa area, but it was now too late to turn back.
Ti rewound to several seconds earlier.

The world slowed down, silent and still.
He saw the enemy clearly at a glance; Electromagnetic Induction scanned the periter’s troops. It was a tight encirclent, and this was Cangdu, guarded by the Shepherd Star Saint. He stood no chance against them; resistance ant certain death.
His only path to survival was escape.
In a fleeting mont, Ji Xinghuo settled on his escape strategy.
A Third Level Shadow Clone could create eight clones, or any number between one and eight as he chose.
Ji Xinghuo decided to create just one.
The mont his Shadow Clone appeared, he also activated his Flashing Battle Boots.
Ji Xinghuo instantly transported himself out, appearing in an empty room dozens of ters away inside a street-side building.
Taking advantage of the Shadow Clone drawing the enemy away, Ji Xinghuo took out a Jump Crystal. He had acquired it at the auction in Eternal Day City, trading over 300 Ether Crystals for it, yet he had not used any of its five jumps.
Activating the Jump Crystal, a few seconds later, a glow engulfed Ji Xinghuo.
The scenery changed.
Ji Xinghuo appeared fifty kiloters south, the furthest distance the lowest-grade Jump Crystal could transport him.
The surroundings were still urban, still within Cangdu.
"Seal the space!"
As Ji Xinghuo continued to activate the Jump Crystal, he heard a command. It was not a real voice, but a ntal ripple from the western volcano peaks, spreading far faster than the speed of sound, sweeping across the entire city in the blink of an eye.
Boom!
A muffled thunder rolled over the skies of Cangdu.
Imdiately after, a vast Jump Array erged, with tens of thousands of huge ring-shaped structures appearing from the void, like ships breaking the surface of the sea, forming a gigantic net made of countless tallic constructions, covering hundreds of kiloters of sky.
In the midst of this, Ji Xinghuo jumped again.
When he tried to jump a third ti, the Crystal Stone in his hand flashed but was interrupted, and he remained in place.
The Jump had failed!

The third Crystal jump failed only because he hadn’t utilized the Wanxiang Star Pupil. He glanced around; after two jumps, he was already at the edge of Cangdu where the height and density of buildings significantly decreased, nearing the outskirts.
