Ji Xinghuo imdiately bowed his head, and it took a while to part but he found her eyes still hazy, as if she was left wanting more.
"Let’s go back," Ji Xinghuo said as he was about to fly down the mountain.
"We’re not going back," Zhao Manying, holding onto his neck, whispered seductively in his ear, "Let’s stay right here."
"What?"
Ji Xinghuo was stunned for a mont before he understood her aning. Their first ti would be this thrilling?
He wasn’t the kind of man who just cared about his own pleasure. He asked out of concern, "Didn’t you say your period had co?"
"Yesterday was the last day; it’s all clear now," Zhao Manying’s voice was shy but firm, emotively saying, "This is where we made our commitnt to each other, I want to create even more beautiful mories here."
Such a request, no man in the world could refuse.
Ji Xinghuo’s excitent surged.
He slowly flew back to the mountain peak and found a flat rock. He took off his jacket and spread it on the ground.
Zhao Manying’s clothes had burst during the fight, revealing her proud figure in full. Even in the darkness, Ji Xinghuo saw everything clearly, and he sincerely complinted her, "Manying, you’re truly beautiful!"
He couldn’t help but compare Zhao Manying in his mind to Sister Ren.
Both won were peerlessly beautiful, with flawless looks and figures, but their deanors were different, each magnificent in their own way.
Zhao Manying appeared taller and more slender, with her height of 1.8 ters, the most captivating feature being her full, straight long legs, crossed and intertwined, truly a godsend masterpiece, conveying an aura of sanctity.
Having trained in martial arts and swordsmanship for years, her posture was nimble and graceful, with well-coordinated and symtrical proportions, not a single flaw to be found from head to toe.
Ji Xinghuo was montarily srized.
Not waiting for Ji Xinghuo’s next move, Zhao Manying opened her eyes, glancing at him and chided, "How long are you going to stare?"
"Coming..."
Ji Xinghuo also lay down on the ground.
In the deep night of sumr, he climbed Huashan with Zhao Manying. The terrain was steep, at tis crossing over ridges, at tis passing through deep gorges. They quickened their pace rhythmically, slowing down when exhausted, and whispered softly.
"Mm-hmm..." Zhao Manying’s skin flushed, her nostrils emitting intoxicating moans.
After several hours of deep engagent, the two harmonized perfectly, reaching the mountain’s summit together.
It was just at the break of dawn.
The sun rose from the eastern horizon, and its rays blessed the land, coating the mountains in a golden hue.
Ji Xinghuo sat at the edge of the peak, admiring the sunrise vistas.
Zhao Manying sat beside him, wrapped in his jacket to prevent any indecent exposure, resting her head on Ji Xinghuo’s shoulder, her beautiful face gaining an extra touch of allure and charm.
Suddenly, she turned her head to tease him, saying, "Haven’t had enough yet?"
Ji Xinghuo stopped his hand that was caressing her leg and just held her waist gently, pulling her closer, smilingly saying, "I could play for a lifeti."
"Rascal!" Zhao Manying spat lightly, yet her heart felt incredibly sweet.
"Only now you realize I’m a rascal, it’s too late," Ji Xinghuo laughed heartily, but he did not go any further.
As the sunrise ended and the sun climbed higher.
Although they were on the mountain peak, a highway was just a few hundred ters away. Moreover, with the daylight, they might be captured by satellites overhead. If the footage leaked out, he, as a man, might be unconcerned, but Zhao Manying’s reputation would be ruined.
"It’s ti we head back," Ji Xinghuo said.
"Mhm," Zhao Manying nodded, "Just a few more minutes."
Soon, a magnetic levitation flying car rushed up along the winding mountain road. Ji Xinghuo recognized it as Zhao Manying’s vehicle, which had driven automatically from ho and switched to flying mode at the closest approach to the peak, landing smoothly on the mountaintop.
"You’re smarter, Manying," Ji Xinghuo said with a smile, "I was wondering how to get you back without exposing you."
"There are plenty of ways," Zhao Manying said as she got up and quickly entered the car.
Despite the exertions of their nocturnal climb, and it being their first ti, her speed and movents seed utterly unaffected.
Ji Xinghuo followed into the car, and the vehicle soared back to the highway, heading towards Chang’an.
When the magnetic levitation car arrived at Zhao Manying’s place in the Weiyang Towers, it stopped in the garage but didn’t co down. The car body trembled with high frequency until more than half an hour later, Ji Xinghuo finally carried her out of the car to the bathroom.
Soaking in the spacious bathtub, Ji Xinghuo stretched out his arms over the edge and asked, "Do you have any plans for today?"
"The team needs to train on tactics," Zhao Manying replied.
"Can you take a day off?"
"No way," Zhao Manying hesitated, then shook her head, "There’s a match tonight at the ho stadium, and the opponent is strong. The coach wants to set up so targeted tactics. I need to train with the team well; we can’t take it lightly."
"Okay, then I’ll take you to the club." Ji Xinghuo had rely asked casually, as his intention was to let her rest for a day.
Zhao Manying thought he had another idea and leaned over to say, "After the match tonight, I’ll co back to stay with you."
Ji Xinghuo smiled and began to scrub her back.
After washing up and having breakfast, the two got into the car. Ji Xinghuo sat in the driver’s seat, speeded to the Emperor Star Club right on ti.
He had been here many tis and was very familiar with the place.
"Do you want to co in?" Zhao Manying asked after getting out of the car, "Qi Feng and the others often ntion you and have invited you to join their gatherings several tis, but you were never around."
Last year, before heading to the Star Realm, Ji Xinghuo often mingled with mbers of the Emperor Star Club to investigate the Shi Family’s background. He got along well with several of the competing mutants on the team and could be considered a friend.
Ji Xinghuo thought for a mont and nodded, "Alright."
Electromagnetic Induction swept across the entire club, and Shi Renzhong was not found; he must not have arrived yet.
Shi Daoyuan was being detained for interrogation by the Sword Bureau and was going to be prosecuted and sentenced subsequently. Given the cris he had committed, the death penalty was inescapable.
How would the Shi Family react?
Even though Shi Daoyuan’s testimony proved that he alone was a high-ranking mber of the Qianyuan Association, and the rest of the Shi Family had nothing to do with it,
Ji Xinghuo always felt like things weren’t that simple.
Shi Daoyuan’s greatest skill was being the son of Shi Hongyi, the vice president of the corporation. He himself was just a Super Mutant. How did he manage to organize and participate in the Qianyuan Association secretly, control several divisions, and not get discovered by Shi Hongyi?
The swordsn of the Sword Bureau were also sowhat skeptical.
However, without evidence, the Asia-Pacific Community is a nation of laws; they couldn’t persecute his family just because Shi Daoyuan committed a cri.
Moreover, Shi Hongyi was a Heavenly King and the nation’s wealthiest man.
Zhao Manying, walking arm in arm with Ji Xinghuo towards the training ground, encountered club staff along the way, all casting surprised and curious glances their way.
After nodding in greeting, everyone looked back.
"You’re more famous than now, it’s my turn to bask in your light," Zhao Manying whispered with a laugh.
Ji Xinghuo’s face was indifferent, "I’d rather they didn’t recognize at all."
"That’s impossible," Zhao Manying gently shook her head, "Sooner or later, everyone on Earth will know you."
Upon reaching the training ground, Zhao Manying went to the locker room to change.
As Ji Xinghuo waited alone on the sidelines, he realized that the mont he arrived, all eyes fell on him—competing mutants from the team, the coaching staff, and the club’s employees all looked his way.
"Xinghuo!"
Qi Feng imdiately ca over, calling out enthusiastically.
"Long ti no see, Brother Feng." Ji Xinghuo greeted him; Qi Feng was the second strongest mber of the Emperor Star Team, a Thermal Stringer. Last year he ranked 85th on the Star Ladder, and this year he had risen to 52nd.
Since Zhao Manying joined the Emperor Star Team, Qi Feng had always been her teammate, together claiming eight championships.
He achieved both fa and status, which skyrocketed accordingly.
Furthermore, at 35 years of age, he was called Brother Feng by the younger team mbers.
"I’m almost overwheld by your ’Brother Feng’, hahaha..." Qi Feng laughed heartily.
Pounding Ji Xinghuo on the back, his eyes filled with curiosity and envy, "You’ve been in the Star Realm for a year, and you return as the first on the Star Ladder, famous around the world. Sigh, I should’ve gone to the Star Realm sooner. Being a competing mutant is just not enough."
Competing mutants enjoyed both fa and fortune without risking their lives.
However, those who aspired to go further on the evolutionary path would eventually venture into the Star Realm.
The Star Realm was an essential journey for all mutants.
Even the most successful competing mutants lacked confidence in the presence of those who had made their mark in the Star Realm.
Not to ntion, Ji Xinghuo’s status as the first on the Star Ladder was undeniable proof of his great strength.
"Brother Feng, you jest. Your achievents are sothing countless mutants can only dream of," said Ji Xinghuo.
Qi Feng was unconvinced: "Every household knows its own business. I’ve just snagged a few championships following the Sword Immortal. I have the strength, but if I entered the Star Realm, compared to mutants who have made a na for themselves there like you, there’s still a gap."
A fervent look appeared in his eyes, "If there’s a chance in the future, Xinghuo, you have to take with you."
As Zhao Manying’s longest-serving teammate, Qi Feng knew well she wouldn’t forever remain a competing mutant and would eventually enter the Star Realm.
Eventually, as her boyfriend, Ji Xinghuo would surely bring her along.
This was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity!
If he could join the team of Ji Xinghuo and her, it wouldn’t necessarily an instant success, but it would definitely an less ti wasted and more safety.
After contemplating for a few seconds, Ji Xinghuo responded, "No problem."
Qi Feng’s talent and strength were among the elite, with the potential to break into the top ten of the Star Ladder. He got along well with Man Ying and was straightforward and reliable, proving himself a teammate with great potential. For Man Ying’s sake, Ji Xinghuo could consider bringing him along.
Of course, he couldn’t team up with him permanently; later on, he would introduce him to his older brother and friends.
"Then it’s settled!" Qi Feng was overjoyed.
After conversing briefly with Ji Xinghuo, Zhao Manying ca out in her combat suit and, noticing the two of them, asked, "What are you guys talking about?"
Qi Feng promptly recounted their earlier conversation.
Zhao Manying glanced at Ji Xinghuo, guessing his intentions, and readily agreed.
"Training is about to begin."
The team’s head coach, Wang Chaogeng, called out, and the team mbers assembled, only to notice one person was missing; Ren Zhong had not yet arrived.
"Ren Zhong has sothing to take care of today, let’s start training," Wang Chaogeng announced.
On the sidelines, Ji Xinghuo heard this, nodded at Zhao Manying, and then left the Emperor Star Club.
